It enables us to quickly integrate third-party monitoring tools and Service Desk tools with very little effort. In cases where there is no pre-built plugin, it is easy to customize your own. Pros The ability to easily integrate and exchange data between different products in a formalized way. The large portfolio of pre-built plugins simplifies integration, in our case particularly for monitoring- and Service/Help Desk tools. Cons A bit too cumbersome to exchange tickets from one ticketing system to another ticketing system and keep the defined standards for each of the systems. Cons Extending 1Gateway capabilities with a standard way to validate attributes and field content in a message before sending it to an endpoint would be an additional asset. We have just developed a new message and field validation feature that can work out if, for example, a certain state transition can be applied to a service desk ticket. Pros I like how easy it is to integrate third-party software and enrich the data with different sources, and then send it to any destination, either with a Json or through some other protocol. Cons I would like it to have a dashboard dedicated to performance and to have a native high availability scheme. This allows us to implement our customers' integration requirements quickly and efficiently. Cons The product does not implement integrations traditionally based on workflow, it works message-based. This requires a rethink in the implementation of the integrations.
