Overcharging and a lack of response to a request to review meant I had to block my accounts with setapp. I will miss the apps. **Pros:** The apps are great, and they are easy to install - used this for years and installed a number of the apps which I will miss now that I've had to cancel my subscription due to poor customer service and overcharging. **Cons:** Had to stop using this when a billing issue (they were charging us for three services when we only used one) was not handled by them. In fact, they just stopped responding to the support thread and so I had to block them on my card to stop them from overcharging me. When you contacted us in 2023 about the billing issues, we provided a detailed explanation, clarifying that the two charges were linked to two different accounts you had created. It's important to note that Setapp does not limit the number of accounts a user can create. At that time, you confirmed that the issue was resolved. When you reached out again in 2025, we explained the situation, and you acknowledged that we addressed the issues satisfactorily via the Zendesk ticketing system. We think it's important that customer reviews truly reflect the service experience. It helps keeps cost manageable while giving us access to some of the highest quality products out there. **Pros:** I've been a longgg time user of Setapp and it's the best-kept-secret-that-is-not-a-secret out there for Mac users. You pay a single subscription and get access to all of the best Mac apps out there. This makes it easy for us to give our team the software tools they need to do their job and ensure they have the best (and most handy) of what's out there. They have everything from meeting software to note taking apps to calendar apps to cleaning apps and more. Setapp is a must have for anyone on a Mac. **Cons:** Installing apps through Setapp can be a bit confusing at first since they're installed to your machine, but through a 3rd party and you're only technically licensing them.
