The program is visually appealing, easy to use, and ever evolving! I love how I've only used the program for about a year, & several patches have already came out improving the functionality! Invoices and Superbills have been nicely overhauled. I have heard good things from the user end as well! Pros Ease of use and visually appealing. I love how easy it is to basically play around for a few hours and know most of the details about day to day operation of the program. Cons There should be a section for lab entry. Also, medications are not easy to update. I want to be able to put these things into the program somewhere, but easily access them from the patient note while I'm documenting. Love the customer service — always gotten a hold of them within a day or the same day. They are committed to improving this product. We’ve only had one day where we were unable to access the EMR very easily due to server problems. that’s a pretty good track record Pros The app is excellent and I love that I can have clients fill out baseline measures and follow up measures easily through the app. This then becomes data They can be shared with the client to show them their progress and can be easily shared with the practitioners that share the client. The data than can be turned into an output file for research purposes. Cons I believe all models of the software all should include smart texting templates. It’s very tedious to hand write things and all other EMR software seem to include those as part of their base and tree models. I have asked for components to be added, and they add them. I believe the Osmind team is working on this. I would also like to be able to bill insurances directly from Osmind, again I believe that they are working on this as well. The charting process is made to be easy and it continues to improve. Wonderful customer support. Cons I would like there to be the option of more customizable templates for certain types of patients that incorporates narrative text into the template. This could take the form of auto populated text that could be manually changed, or a drop-down autofill option so that practitioners could more easily start new patients. I like the option to copy from one treatment to the other, but starting a new patient is sometimes onerous having to rewrite narrative that largely is similar patient to patient. I'd also like to be able to incorporate my Merchant Services account into Osmind instead of having to rely on theirs which utilizes Stripe who in turn has some of the highest fees in the industry. Pros The use and ease of it, especially for our patients. It has been great for scheduling appts and managing our digital medical records. It has become a bridge into their own mental health awareness. It truly is incredible, to show them their very own progress. As the creative integration director I couldn’t be happier to have our patients use the journal feature - Over all -we love using this product in practice. " June 22, 2025 5.0 See likes/dislikes above! Also, Osmid is quick an easy to download to devices, but I was recently working on my laptop and found out I can also pull it up as a webpage from my laptop which was also nice. Other apps do that as well but it was another check on the east side for Osmid. Personally it’s been really a relief that I am able to message directly with my provider. That may also be specific to this particular provider, but on other apps it sometimes felt like I was submitting messages out into internet land on some server maybe someone tied to their office. It felt like it may or may not ever be seen or read. Maybe it’s just the format and layout of the messages page within Osmid that became it looks similar to a text message it feels more personal. The Athena app does that as well, but it still feels “official” on there. Plus, I’ve had a couple providers that use Athena but only the main portal and not the app. The Athena portal that you have to log into online in my experience has always been extremely slow and glitchy and rather frustrating to navigate. Pros I’ve used a few different apps for different provider offices and Osmid seems to be by far the most user friendly! The dashboard is basic and straightforward with all the different buttons in one place for appointments, messages, care plan, and several others. It contains all of it on the dashboard while remaining uncluttered and easy to navigate! I’ve used it twice and this time it has been about 3 weeks so far and I haven’t had any issues with glitching, or issues loading and needing to refresh. It’s quick and easy! Cons So far there isn’t really anything about it that I don’t like! Perhaps if it was the first app I’d ever used with a doctor’s office there might be something, but in comparison to Athena or Klara, from the patient end Osmid has been the best! The app is simple, reliable, and genuinely useful for patient! Especially the Journal and secure messaging features. No complain. Additionally, my consultant told me the software has responsive customer service, which gave me more confidence in using it as a patient. Pros Very easy to use, even as the only mental-health EHR app I’ve ever used. Easy to make appointments and check care-plan details in one clear and organized place. I especially love the Journal feature. My consultant suggested I use it like a daily diary, and it helped me organize my concerns and track my feelings. It made my counseling sessions much more effective. Further to this, I can receive secure messages from my consultant, which makes communication feel safe and convenient. Cons Since this is the only mental-health app I’ve used, I don’t have comparison; but overall I haven’t experienced major issues. Pros I liked that in the beginning, the developers of Osmind were interested in creating something dynamic and valuable to ketamine clinics. After 2 years, I am losing hope. It seems that they are more concerned with their own revenue flow that with providing a user friendly dynamic system for medical professionals that may not have much experience in the clinic setting. Cons That they doubled the monthly subscription without offering any realy added value Reason for choosing Osmind I originally chose it because it was specifically designed for clinics like ours. Cons The few stumbling blocks that exist are minor and are things the Osmind team regularly reach out for information on what can be improved and how. Currently, the option for clients to self-schedule is critical for us and is why we use a different scheduling system, though the Osmind scheduling option is otherwise great. I have been enjoying all the new features that the Osmind team work hard in implanting such as scheduling, pt tagging, color code etc. Cons What I like least is that it is a fairly new system, so there are a lot of tweaks that need to be made but the support team is extremely responsive and very helpful in helping our practice resolve 100% of the issues. " October 5, 2022 5.0 I have been able to streamline the tedious part of a private mental health practice and feel more confident in having my paperwork in immediate order. I also love having my billing in one place as opposed to 3 different apps to complete the process. Lastly, the customer service and care that the Osmind team provides is top tier. They are responsive, helpful, and so far have gone out of their way to make sure my transition to a new EHR was as easy as possible. Pros Since using Osmind, I have been able to organize my work-flow to complete notes immediately, invoice, bill, and send super bills to clients as they request. I have multiple evidence based measures available that clients can complete as needed and I'm able to share their progress and results seamlessly. Clients have found receiving appointment reminders extremely helpful. Cons As the program is still relatively new, there are some client self scheduling work arounds that I have needed to use.
