The app is simple, reliable, and genuinely useful for patient! Especially the Journal and secure messaging features. No complain. Additionally, my consultant told me the software has responsive customer service, which gave me more confidence in using it as a patient. Pros Very easy to use, even as the only mental-health EHR app I’ve ever used. Easy to make appointments and check care-plan details in one clear and organized place. I especially love the Journal feature. My consultant suggested I use it like a daily diary, and it helped me organize my concerns and track my feelings. It made my counseling sessions much more effective. Further to this, I can receive secure messages from my consultant, which makes communication feel safe and convenient. Cons Since this is the only mental-health app I’ve used, I don’t have comparison; but overall I haven’t experienced major issues. Also, Osmid is quick an easy to download to devices, but I was recently working on my laptop and found out I can also pull it up as a webpage from my laptop which was also nice. Other apps do that as well but it was another check on the east side for Osmid. Personally it’s been really a relief that I am able to message directly with my provider. That may also be specific to this particular provider, but on other apps it sometimes felt like I was submitting messages out into internet land on some server maybe someone tied to their office. It felt like it may or may not ever be seen or read. Maybe it’s just the format and layout of the messages page within Osmid that became it looks similar to a text message it feels more personal. The Athena app does that as well, but it still feels “official” on there. Plus, I’ve had a couple providers that use Athena but only the main portal and not the app. The Athena portal that you have to log into online in my experience has always been extremely slow and glitchy and rather frustrating to navigate. Pros I’ve used a few different apps for different provider offices and Osmid seems to be by far the most user friendly! The dashboard is basic and straightforward with all the different buttons in one place for appointments, messages, care plan, and several others. It contains all of it on the dashboard while remaining uncluttered and easy to navigate! I’ve used it twice and this time it has been about 3 weeks so far and I haven’t had any issues with glitching, or issues loading and needing to refresh. It’s quick and easy! Cons So far there isn’t really anything about it that I don’t like! Perhaps if it was the first app I’d ever used with a doctor’s office there might be something, but in comparison to Athena or Klara, from the patient end Osmid has been the best! Pros I liked that in the beginning, the developers of Osmind were interested in creating something dynamic and valuable to ketamine clinics. After 2 years, I am losing hope. It seems that they are more concerned with their own revenue flow that with providing a user friendly dynamic system for medical professionals that may not have much experience in the clinic setting. Cons That they doubled the monthly subscription without offering any realy added value Reasons for choosing Osmind I originally chose it because it was specifically designed for clinics like ours. Now I regret that choice as I am in the process of moving to a different platform and even that has become buggy and full of unnecessary obstacles.
