Venue Owner Hospitality Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Wedding and Event Planning Software that Couples will LOVE" December 9, 2021 5.0 VenueX are great to work with. They answer emails promptly and are available to meet via phone. Pros This new software offers a lot to couples. Here are the big winners: 1. Manage your event guests. 2. Lay out your room and allocate tables to guests 3. Share documents between the venue and the clients 4. Share vendor info with the venue 5. You get an APP! That app is used by the event guests to share photos. It is awesome! At the end of a wedding night the couple can have 100's of images from their day instantly! Cons This software is new. It's still under development. It doesn't do 'everything'. My primary feature request would be timeline creation / management for the events. Alternatives considered [Planning Pod](https://www.capterra.com/p/125947/Planning-Pod/) Reason for choosing VenueX VenueX is easier to use. Customers love it. It has more features. Switched from [Prismm](https://www.capterra.com/p/173852/Prismm/) AllSeated is expensive. The room layout software is great but it doesn't have photo and vendor sharing and all the other amazing features. Review Source BG Barbara G. Proprietor Events Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Customer Management Software for Dummies" July 17, 2024 5.0 Pros VenueX set up my entire Client Portal and made it look amazing. I had no hand in it, but take full credit. Developers are easy to work with and super responsive. Cons It might not be exactly like the method we used prior, but it is 100% more professional than our previous method. Pros Gives the ability to the clients to keep themselves organized. Creating the seating charts from their guest list makes the process for them much easier. Cons I would love more tutorials on the website for the clients to find out how to do things. Review Source MS Marco S. Customer service is amazing, shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] and his exceptional attentiveness to his clients. Office Manager Hospitality Used the software for: 2+ years ### "The Venue X Experience" January 14, 2022 5.0 Pros Working with the Venue X team has been an extraordinary experience. Their platform which enables our clients to have a wealth of information at their fingertips greatly enhances the process of communication between client and venue. The ability to upload contracts, menus, floor plans, insurance certificates, etc. is an excellent way to organize and transfer information. It is a unique format which has an incredible amount of potential and certainly elevates our company image. And, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and his team exemplify the highest quality of customer service, always responding with immediacy. Cons The only downside we experience is the occasional reluctance of clients who are not too computer savvy to give it a try. Review Source NK Nancy K. Manager Hospitality Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great CRM and Event Planning Tool" February 9, 2024 5.0 Pros VenueX allows us to have everything we need in one program. The CRM aspect allows us to track leads, schedule follow ups and then convert the lead into an event. Once an event is booked, the client has access to the portal which makes our job so much easier! Everything is right there in the portal for them. \[sensitive content hidden\] was great to work with while we were learning the program. He is available at all times for questions or if we need help with anything. Cons A few more drop downs while entering information would be nice. \[sensitive content hidden\] is great on taking suggestions and always open to improving the program. Review Source JH Jessica H. Director of Sales/Events Events Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Customizable app for our organizations needs" December 16, 2021 5.0 The customer service is fantastic. Abed has been quick to respond to any questions or trouble shoot issues and he is very responsive to our needs. 10/10! Pros It's a comprehensive, customizable platform to help our client organize their plans and stay on track. We were able to tailor the content of the app to match the information we require of our clients from the checklist to the customizable floor plan. Cons I would like the ability, as an administrator, to edit the front end when little tweaks are needed. Would also like the ability to include our survey forms on the app as well (we are told this feature is in the works).
