I mistakenly thought it was 30 credits/mo which would have been sufficient but it's only 30 credits total. My needs are for simple email (not document) parsing, standardized emails from vacation rental platforms. Mailparser allows multiple steps of textual refinement whereas Parsio deals with a visual interface of the email and then offers minimal refinement. It separated my email from its attachment which, if document parsing were required, would be very helpful. Pros I liked the interface and the ease of start up. Cons The inability to easily refine parse results into different formats. What I have found out however is that support is extremely approachable and competent, and that when they promise something (i.e. introducing a new feature) they keep their promise. As the product matures, I see myself needing less and less input from support, but I hope they will retain the same open and friendly approach as before. Pros Parsio is an "email first and foremost" type of parser, unlike other automations I have used that treat email like any other source of data, and subject it to the same restrictions as an ephemeral webhook call. What other email parsers do is queue all emails and once a message is processed, that's it - no chance to fix a mistake in the template, no chance to adapt if there is any error in the parsing procedure itself. If I didn't get the needed data the first time, it was lost forever. Parsio puts an end to that 'finality' and allows me to fix my templates at leisure. I no longer have to worry if an email that I am parsing will change its format. As soon as I see something is wrong with the parsed data, I can go back, analyze the problem, fix my scraping template and reprocess all failed messages. This is \*so liberating\*! Cons As of the time of writing, Parsio itself has no ability to process the data it collects (e.g. format dates, numbers and currencies; perform conditional operations; add/reorder data within the csv/XML/JSON structure and so on) before passing it to other services. Perhaps those will come with time to make the users' job easier. The newly introduced functionality that allows parsing tables is still a bit rough around the edges. Switched from [Pabbly Connect](https://www.capterra.com/p/205994/Pabbly-Connect/) Pabbly Connect is a fantastic automation tool, but its email parsing features are nowhere near comparable to those offered by Parsio. It has the 'finality' issue I wrote about above: an email is processed only once and is then discarded. If it was not parsed properly, there is no chance to fix that. Review Source FC Fabio C. It appears that you did not cancel your subscription, which is why you were charged for another month. Moreover, our records indicate that you continued using your Parsio account, sending and parsing emails before requesting a refund. February 19, 2022 5.0 Overall I've had a better than expected experience using this service and their pricing is spot on. The product performs as you'd expect and it's very easy ro figure out just by a quick scan of the interface. If you need to parse data from emails you should have this product in your toolbox. Pros I buy leads from a vendor and the email for each lead has a lot of data that, extracting by hand, would take hours. I was able to parse the data I needed from 100 emails in about 10 minutes. The data was just as I needed it and then Parsio provided a script to auto import the parsed data. It was almost too simple and I could not be happier. Cons The FAQs and Help section on their site could use some work, but it is a new product. Fortunately emailing for help provided a fast and accurate answer, in about 30 minutes. Review Source Duy N. However, one can catch these errors and fix them. - Bought credits in a specific billing period cannot be rolled over into the next one. My uses are two: Scan invoices and process documents of the public administration. Pros I have been looking for a software to extract data for a few months. I have bought several. What I like about this one in particular is that in less than 20 minutes I managed to understand it. Cons It is above the competition in my country (Spain). In terms of performance and price. However, I think they should seriously work on some plugin for Office 365/Gmail that allows scanning without having to forward to the application. That would be a game changer. The more I use it the more time I am saving, and getting some things done that I never did before. Automating data collection is fantastic. Pros it is simple to use and just works. The UI is very clean and makes setting up the parsing SOOO easy and fast. Cons I don't have any real complaints so far. it works well, the price is good, and I can even read PDF files. Seriously, is not just for companies" February 21, 2022 5.0 So far it's been great, we are mending our accounting and we are using parsio to enrich our accounting data with the emails we receive from the bank from each transaction, and will definitely keep using this (even for personal use) Pros You can do this to organize a lot of incoming data, like bank statements, investment, real state, etc... in an extremely easy manner. You just create a mailbox (one for each use case) then send there the emails that are repetitive where you need to extract data from, and once you've setup templates you an export all the data to Google sheets (or anywhere else) with extreme ease. Cons Nothing i dislike so far, I had some trouble setting up REGEX to improve my templates and support was super quick to help me. I would say I'm looking forward to maybe more improvements, like allowing documents to be uploaded directly or maybe exposing the parsed data to an API. Pros Easy to learn, functional, works consistently and quickly. Cons I'd prefer a lower price point for the solution, but it is a consistent service and cheaper than hiring someone else.
