Progressier Reviews
"Great product. Handles all PWA stuff for me"
Overall: We needed to deploy our frontend like a PWA, and we found out that it's a hard work building and maintaining all the stuff working and up to date. When we discovered this product, it was really quick to make our frontend a PWA that just works. We leaved Progressier because the project died, but currently we are working in a new product, and sure we will use it again.
Pros: All the features are very impactful. The product is very easy to use. The integration with my product was quick and very simple. I really enjoy this product.
Cons: Until now I didn't find missing features.
"PWA made easy"
Overall: We have developed some PWA in house: device compatibility check, assets management, push notifications, ... all required so much time to write and make it updated. Then we tested Progressier and 1 day later decided to move all our PWA apps to Progressier. Fast, simple, well documented and supported, Progressier covers all needs in PWA development: from manifest to install; from push notification subscription to compatibility management; and so on.
Pros: All you need for PWA development: from assets to push notifications. Simple and beautiful UI make this task friendly and fast. Intrepid and responsive support, always available to accommodate new requests: this way the app grew quickly and now has everything you need.
Cons: Waiting Push API support for iOS (currently in development, maybe within the next few months), only missed feature is web push for Apple Safari through a service P12 certificate
"Easy but powerful"
Overall: Works nice, the api integrates perfectly into our product.
Pros: Its very easy to set up, the new features are perfect for startups that dont want to waste time on tracking, web push and service workers.
Cons: I actually dont have to say anything really negative. The new included features and the new pricing is very good.
"Perfect PWA In Minutes"
Pros: I went looking for a simple way to create a progressive web app for our users. After spending a few hours trying to figure this out on my own, I stumbled upon Progressier on Twitter. I had a PWA ready to go for my app in minutes, giving me exactly what I needed. Super simple for users to implement!
Cons: There is a lot of room to grow in the PWA space. I would love to see device-specific notifications, offline network caching, geolocation, and wake lock in there.
"Ease of Use for PWA creation"
Overall: First started developing PWA's it took alot of the aggravation on how to code it so it would actual work and deploy as a PWA should. No simpler way of doing so.
Pros: If you want to make your web application into a PWA but have no idea or desire to learn how to code for it. Progressier makes it as easy as possible.
Cons: One con, is that is used to be free. But even with a cost involved, it is still a very valuable tool if you don't know how to code for a PWA
