Plug-ins not always updated before my site would crash. Be aware if that if using Open Source.

Pros

Handles well, definitely a steep learning curve, but it was the first Open-Source Software I ever used. Decent amount of plug-ins.

Cons

Mambo could not handle heavy traffic efficiently. Ok for smaller sites.
