Once users become familiar with the systems, it comes a valuable tool for workforce management and scheduling. It helps improve visibility into staffing needs and supports better coordination between departments. Pros I found Symplr Workforce helpful for managing scheduling and workforce operations in a healthcare environment. It allows managers to easily view staffing levels, approve time off request and coverage across departments. The time tracking tools make it easier to identify gaps and fill shifts without having to rely on multiple systems. I think this platform overall is efficient. Cons This system is very complex for new users, especially when navigating the different modules. Some features are not as intuitive as they could be, which means there can be a learning curve when getting started. It's an easy platform to navigate. Pros One stop shop for time/ attendance, staffing and scheduling. It's quick and easy to use PTO/sick time when you need to take off work. I like that it keeps all your past PTO days so you can keep track of when you requested off already. Cons Has some functions that I don't need/use such as having to clock in and out. Since I am salary all I use the platform for is keeping track of my PTO. I like how it's easy to use and you can see all the days you requested off and how much PTO you have left. Shows the accrual rates of your PTO which is helpful. All I have to do is click one button to sign off on my time sheets. Cons There is nothing I don't like about it. Our company switched from using a different platform and this one has been a lot easier to navigate! Pros Scheduling from home is nice. Being able to access my schedule from almost anywhere is also nice. Cons Doesn't work when needed. Most of the nurses at the hospital put their schedule in at 7 am on a certain Monday. We aren't even a large hospital and more often than not, the scheduler doesn't work. We get errors like "The requested service is temporarily unavailable. It is either overloaded or under maintenance. Please try later." or "Unable to load user." or "Unable to load (put just about anything here)" or "Waiting for response from server ." It is no frills but accomplishes everything you want a scheduling software to accomplish. I mainly use it for requesting time off, keeping track of my schedule and tracking benefits like PTO. Cons I feel like you kind of have to search a bit to find what you want and the layout could really use an update. It's not organized well so I find my self always searching for what I want.
