Everything was seamless between entry, bidding, and getting our cut. Cons I don't recall any features or functionality I didn't like. As a non-profit, lower costs would always be nice. Pros Easy access to help via website resources as well as live agent help. Very easy onboarding and set-up and great choices of trips, experiences and collectible items. Cons None. I really do not have a bad thing to report. They need to make it easier to set up the account. Pros Easy to place bids. Easy to add or subtract items. Cons Very difficult to set up the account. I was originally told that the account was set up and I had starting the LIVE AUCTION only to find that my authorization and account set up had not been approved and was not set up. Had to get my daughter (I am terrible with computers) to straighten everything out. Payment processing is a bit slow, but I'd rate it 7/10 based on the return on investment and site management. Pros I love the many options for travel experiences and gaining a percentage of prizes listed. Also, it offered more than travel, but artwork and miscellaneous as well. I also liked how you can add a logo for those who sponsored the added item. Cons What I really disliked was that you couldn't add multiple trips of the same experience. People had to bid against themselves in order to win multiple trips. meaning they would have to bid higher just to win multiple instead of the option to list it multiple times. I also didn't like if we wanted to close out and then open back up for the things that didn't sell, we would have to start a brand new auction versus opening it back up. Know how to use it now and thought the tie-in with TravelPledge was an asset. Easy, efficient, reasonably priced. Pros Easy to Use platform. The site gave us the opportunity to manage the event up to closing when we saw a big increase in activity. It definitely was an asset to our fundraising effort. Cons As a small 501c3 we thought the expenses from using the site were a little drastic, especially with the percentage taken out for any of the TravelPledge items we sold. Pros Easy to use platform, loved that I could use more than 1 picture to showcase an item. Fast response when I had a question, very easy to set up and use. LOVED the option to have "popcorn bidding" at the end of the auction to have a bidding war to help make more money. Already planning on using them again next year for our auction. Also LOVED the items they were able to provide for our auction, we had a great event and raised more money than last year. PLUS no hosting fees so all money goes to you not to the web hosting company. Cons I would like to charge people all at the end not give them an invoice to pay. Other platforms did it this way. It is a price to performance champ! It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Sure, there could be more bells and whistles, however, in the end, I would opt for the simplicity, intuitiveness, and cost of the WinningBidder platform. Pros The platform was straightforward and easy to use. The item setup was intuitive as was the reporting. For our use, it had all the basic features that we required for our 20+ item online auction. Their partnership with TravelPledge was a bonus and added a level of excitement and helped round out our offerings. Cons The formatting of items and website look, and feel was limited and bare bones. There is no ability to add video or hyperlinks to sponsor websites. It would be nice to have a bit more options and/or ways to see trending or hot items, to draw more attention/bidding. Pros Using TravelPledge as our auction host was a huge improvement from years past. It was much easier to use than our other host site. Customer service was wonderful. I didn't ask for help but they reached out to with suggestions that were very helpful and thoughtful. Creating an auction item was very easy and fast. Cons I wanted to include hyperlinks to golf course facility websites and donor websites. I also wanted to add videos to item pages. Cons Sending invoices to "Buy it Now" winners BEFORE your auction closes doesn't work. The platform WON'T send invoices until the overall auction ends. We SHOULD be able to send a "Buy it Now" winner an invoice BEFORE the overall auction closes.
