I mostly interact with Archie through the mobile app. If I decide to go into the office, I just open the app and reserve a desk in less than a minute. It’s a simple workflow that makes hybrid work easier.

Pros

Fast desk booking, clear office map, and the ability to see where colleagues are sitting. The app is very easy to use.

Cons

Sometimes the map takes a moment to load when a lot of people are booking desks early in the morning.

Everyone on our team got the hang of it fast - we started with just meeting rooms and then extended to managing desks too shortly after.

Pros

Love the visual seating map, and how you can search by person or team. For me it's more about knowing who's at the office rather than where to sit, but still it's a great way to align.

Cons

At the beginning the mobile app was logging me out quite often, not sure if it was a set up issue but it lasted for a while and was very annoying. Luckily that happens rarely now.

Visitors check in quickly and the people receiving them are notified right away. It feels much more professional than what we had before.

Pros

Notifications and pre-registration work really well and make the whole process smooth. It’s easy to see who is expected during the day, and the check-in experience is simple for guests. It also keeps everything organized in one place.

Cons

Just wish the different screens where more customizable, for instance showing the email field later on in the flow instead of at the beginning, stuff like that.

Fantastic overall - I have enjoyed my experience and will continue to enjoy it as well as we grow together in our partnership.

Pros

The platform is fantastic to use as an administrator and end user. I've had positive feedback from our co-working members who need access to information quickly, and to be able to manage their overall experience of our space we provide. The customer service team is also incredible and attentive, providing direct, clear, concise responses with video support. I have given feedback on the product and it goes into their feedback loop, so I feel heard.

Cons

Payment integration functionality needs work to incorporate solutions and gateways outside of Stripe only. Square for example is how we manage our payment services and it doesn't integrate without developer time that is costly. Another area for improvement is mass downloads of documents and invoices for team and individual accounts. I needed to turn this around in 24 hours, and had to do it 1:1 which was cumbersome and an energy zap. There is room for improvement in the reporting and analytics function as well.

Clunky in both set up and execution. The integrations were great with a plethora of options that would work for advertising to payments, but it had too many dependencies and plug ins, and without a user friendly guide in place, I had to run around like a mouse chasing cheese to find where the root cause problem lived.

Pros

We’ve had way fewer support requests since launching it. People find their way around the platform easily.

Cons

It would be great to have more tools to manage scheduled tours of the space - currently we use Calendly on the website instead of their native tool.

Fantastic there there are so many different ways you can book a space, including tablet app, mobile, Teams integration and web of course.

Pros

They always provide great support, the booking methods are fully customizable, and the user experience is overall really good.

Cons

The initial setup can appear complex, it's important to understand how you want to customize the solution and allocate some time to that before a full rollout.

What I love about Archie is that we can pre-register visitors so when they come in all they have to do is scan a QR code to check-in, and they automatically get instructions on where to go. We also have a sign-in form for non-registered visitors, and the process is quite simple in that case as well. It saves our team a lot of time, and gives a great first impression to our guests.

Pros

The platform is highly customizable, and their team even developed a feature for us within the first 30 days of our contract, which is something I'm pretty sure would have not been possible with other solutions. And even more important, our team finds it really easy to use!

Cons

I haven't found any issues at the moment, although personally I would like more automations in place when it comes to notifications.

With Archie our space can manage memberships, payments, bookings, and other aspects of the workspace. We use the Visitor app to register tours and guest, the Rooms app for meeting room reservations, and the main Archie app for everything else, like community feed, ticketing system, billing and payements and so on..

Pros

We were able to really integrate it into other tools we use, including payment providers, accounting software, WiFi networks and door access control. Next on our list is to do the same for printers, they have two native integrations there and we need to decide which one to go for.

Cons

The set up takes a bit of time, becase while the user interface is very simple and intuitive, the software behind is quite complex and powerful so you need to think about different ways you can set things up. Anyway, it's more of a one-time effort, but definitely the type of software you need to spend some time configuring (but luckily their onboarding team was very helpful).

The digital log is super helpful, especially when we need to pull data for audits or reports.Overall,we do enjoy it

Cons

Visitor badge printing is sometimes delayed by a few seconds, but it’s not a major issue which can cause anything

Compliance has become much easier, and we always know exactly who's onsite, whether they're employees or external guests

Pros

It is very easy to pre-register guests, all you have to do is associate a visit type and who the host is. They can also sign in directly through the kiosk, so both scenarios are covered. It took almost no time for our team to get comfortable using it.

Cons

It currently doesn't support scanning labels for deliveries, and while you can send notifications in multiple ways, there are still scenarios where that should be more automated.

Pros

Checking in visitors is pretty easy, they just scan a QR code to retreive their information, and complete the registration in less than a minute.

Cons

Recurring visits are not so easy to handle, it would be great to have something similar to what they offer for rooms and desks for recurring schedules.

Pros

Great usability, everything is really straightforward and easy to use, despite tons of features being packed into the software. They really did a great job.

Pros

Setup was surprisingly quick, and the support team helped us import our floor plans and set up the different policies and settings we wanted to have in place.

Cons

Everything has to be tied to a user, you have privacy settings, but admins can still see who booked what.

It helped us combine two things we used to do separately: visitor access and managing desk reservations. Other desk booking software offered only a very simple VMS, we chose Archie as it was more complete.

Pros

Visitors check in at the front while our team uses the same platform to reserve desks or meeting rooms. It's all in one place now!

Cons

Not a huge deal but it takes a few steps to cancel a booking, an "undo" button would make that faster.

It's very easy to review your customer's information, everything can be found in one place which saves a lot of time specially when we have to handle with different customers

Cons

Setting everything up initially was a bit time-consuming, but once everything was done, you don't have to chance anything else unless that you are adding a new item

The integration with Teams is great. Notifications, check-in, direct booking. Happy they will integrated visitors too in it.

I really wish the app could remember my favorite desk automatically or make it faster to rebook a resource.

Perfect for hybrid offices or other high-traffic facilities, in our case it's a life saver as we finally have all visitor data and employee schedules in a single app, without jumping across different tools. Definitely saves me a lot of time.

What I like the most is that everything is really easy from a user perspective, you can switch from floor map to list with one tap, access upcoming reservations or scheduled visits also with one tap, everything is there.

Cons

Can't pin point anything specific, maybe more customization options but it works well for me.

I definitely enjoy the modern UI and the fact that it does a lot more than just room and desk booking. I can see who is working from home for example, or schedule visits to other offices.

Pros

Lots of features! And it has always worked really well for me.
