Adsense is one of the most effective means to earn money with either a blog or channel through ad monetization.

Pros

Google AdSense is one of my favorite( and ultimately, the company's best) ways to increase all sales outreach. We help clients to monetize their business and It has helped us to continuously deliver accurate and quality results which keep 96% of our clients "EXTREMELY SATISFIED". It wouldn't be easy (cause as a beginner, it shouldn't) but, in the long run, it tends to be very beneficial when you acquire a good mastery of it. But I love how organized and simple the back office looks. It's very clean and easily navigatable. Ads placements are super professional and it gives higher chances to make more money from certain types of traffic and niches too. I believe, Google Adsense is the best in terms of smart placements- compared to others.

Cons

Poor customer service with no live chats. It's true Google receives billions of similar requests every single month but, what if users fall into complex situations like account hacks or something else? Well, It could be more fun if they actually provided live support.

Both adsterra and Ezoic are good alternatives, But, I had to deviate to AdSense because of a few weird cons. Adsterra pays well but, contributes to 60%+ bounce rates of most websites. When ads are placed in the header, any link or page on the website falls into trouble. You can't click a specific page and are redirected immediately. This is very annoying and discouraging too. Ezoic pays way less than AdSense if you ask me.

### "Best way to monetize your content"

Great experience, easy to setup, fast and now you know you will get paid extra for your time making content.

Pros

Is easy to setup and ads are showing immediately after setup. In 2024 the shared revenue has increased and the way AdSense displaying ads maximize the revenue. I can say it is the best.

Cons

The payments are made next month after you pass the payments threshold. When adding a new website and is rejected they won\`t tell you the reason for the rejection, just send you an email that the website violates Terms and Conditions, even if is not.

It's an example of how not to run a business.

Pros

The ease of use is certainly it's main advantage...

Cons

...but everything else is a mess. I had my site approved once. Then when I changed domain, I coundn't make the ads show on the website anymore. Adsense started rejecting me. I've made then tons of changes to try fix the thing but nothing worked out. I've tried then to reach out the support, which is literally non-existing. there is only a forum with "expert users" who may or not decide to say something to use, very generic or unprofessional. No google employee whatsoever. I've only read somewhere on this forum that you may have an email contact with someone working on google ONLY if you have a solid income in Adsense. This is extremely disrespectful.

My overall experience with Google AdSense has been good. It was the first platform we used for generating extra revenue and it helped a lot.

Pros

Google Adsense is low barrier tool for a publisher in every size to start growing revenue via ad serving through a website. It is relatively easy to start with and they also have options to let Google test different ad types etc to make sure you get the best out of the platform. Implementation is easy, setting up the account is not rocket science and it does not take a long time until you can start making money from your traffic. Analytics side is also straightforward and good addition to GA4 as it gives you additional information which you could also use for negotiating direct deals.

Cons

1\. As a publisher from a small country the traffic is mostly local and ad revenue source is also local user. Adsense gives you an opportunity to be a part of a large network, however it is not targeting those small markets. 2. Compering it with Setupad for example - it does not have as good support as similar platforms. If you are a smaller publisher with limited resources it is always good to have a platform which provides at least some customer success management.

I started out with AdSense to generate revenue off of my publishing business but now, it's just a mediation partner with our premium ad network. Still, it's bringing in substantial revenue.

Pros

AdSense is a good place for beginners to get started generating early revenue. When no other premium ad network accepts you, AdSense does things for you. Also, it has a broad geographic base and hence, offers good RPM rates in the industries/regions where premium ad networks fail to thrive. The UI is pretty good too!

Cons

Though RPMs are good for some industries...in most cases, you won't be satisfied with the results. Also, customer support takes ages and ages before anything arrives from their end...which also turns out to be a copy-and-paste template.

Definitely positive. Have been using it for more than a decade and have had no serious issues with it.

Pros

A great opportunity to make some more money from a website, often through passive means. Easy to implement and a chance to put ads on your sites. Good feedback, payment info, and traffic info.

Cons

Sometimes Google will change its policies and make it more difficult to implement or make you include HTML code in your site. But these are minor compared to the small stream of income Adsense provides

Overall, I've learned a bit from AdSense though it has spurred me into learning from other websites that specialize in monetization which lead me into finding better options for my websites once certain metrics and traffic thresholds have been met.

Pros

Google AdSense isn't just easy to set up; it also has one of the lowest barriers of entry compared to similar monetization options for websites. This is a great entry-level solution to get your feet wet.

Cons

There is a severe lack of advertisement competition depending on your niche, and there are quite a few alternatives out there that offer a higher payout though they aren't quite as accessible for brand new websites for the most part. On top of this, responses from customer service can be hard to obtain as most of the 'solutions' are found within the help articles.

Overall, Google AdSense is the best ad network i used, has higher pay rate for ads and these are not intrusive or slow down your website.

Pros

Setting up the ads on your website is very easy, placing the Adsense code in header, if you opt in for automatic placement the ads will show in the most relevant places. If you dont want auto ads placing the desired ad format in the content is made with adding a small code there. The payments are made faster than other ads network is from what I saw is higher.

Cons

Terms and Conditions might be a little ambiguous and approving the website can take some time.

Pros

Onboarding is easy provided you have good content on the website, the dashboard is user-friendly and customizable so you can easily access the information that is more important to you. Unlike some other ad networks, AdSense makes it possible for publishers to review the advertisers that are bidding for your ad space so you can block the ones you do not like. I also love the fact that it provides enough stats and important information to let me know the ads that are performing well and the ones that are not. There is so much to love about Adsense.

Cons

Your account can get disabled when you breach or they assume you have breached any of the policies of the platform. When this happens, you also forfeit your unpaid earnings which could be very disheartening but they still allow you to appeal but the chances of reinstatement of account may be slim.

Adsense is the easiest way to start monetizing a website, it’s the easier way to start serving ads, it’s the bigger ad serving company and totally trustworthy, their requirements are one of the easiest to get and their minimum payout is low.

Cons

The earnings per thousand visits are lower then competitors, they lack so much in support while competitors have a live chat, for adsense it’s so hard to contact someone from their team

Pros

As a Content Creator (Blogger or Vlogger) one can earn money with this monetization platform from Google. Based on the eligibility, AdSense allows you to activate ads on a Blog/Website and YouTube channel. AdSense helps you to optimize ad sizes, display matching ads based on the contents. It also enables you to choose different ad types such as Display ads, In-feed ads, In-article ads, Multiplex ads etc. Important part is, it has a very good interface to monitor your estimated earnings.

Cons

Based on my experience, I haven't witnessed any issues so far. However; I reckon Payment threshold should be reduced (from $100.00 to $50.00) so that Creators can get money more frequently.

Pros

There are many pros to being an Adsense publisher. The most obvious is the money you make from ads displayed on your content. You can get approval easily compared to Ezoic. You can earn good money if your site has massive traffic. They are not beneficial for a small site.

Cons

I don't like Adsense for a variety of reasons. 1. They are not good for a small site. 2. Site speed lower after placing ads. This was a big problem with my site 3. You can get paid if the threshold of $100. 4. Low-quality ads. I do not recommend AdSense if your site is small.
