I have used Wise, but it certainly isn't as good. I think Ontop should be more product-driven and open to the public. Pros The forex exchange rate is very competitive. The transfers are very efficient and fast. Pros I really value how simple and user-friendly Ontop is. Its intuitive interface streamlines onboarding, contract creation, and handling international payments, often requiring very little setup. I also find the digital wallet and the linked Visa card especially convenient for receiving and using funds worldwide. Cons There was nothing in particular that stood out to me. This has drastically improved our efficiency and helped us scale our global talent acquisition without the usual payment headaches. Pros The Ease of Use and Ease of Implementation are what truly set Ontop apart. Getting set up was remarkably fast and straightforward, much quicker than other international payment systems I've used. For day-to-day work, the platform is incredibly intuitive—I don't have to spend time troubleshooting or explaining complex processes to new users. Since I use it frequently (multiple times per week), this high level of simplicity is essential. The process for making global payouts is fluid, and the transparency in fees and exchange rates is also a major plus. Finally, the Customer Support team is responsive and highly knowledgeable, which has been extremely helpful when dealing with niche international compliance questions. Cons While the platform offers a solid number of features for core global payments and compliance, I would love to see a more robust set of advanced reporting and analytics tools built directly into the dashboard. Right now, I sometimes have to pull data and analyze it externally to get the deep insights I need. Also, the Ease of Integration with a few of our legacy financial tools could be slightly smoother. While the API is functional and their team helps, a broader array of out-of-the-box, no-code integrations would save us a bit of development time. These are minor things, but they'd take the product from great to exceptional. This breaks my paymnt chain. UNRELIABLE They made me sign a contract in which they promised to pay on the eighth day but they never do. They claim that it is my company's problem, even though I send them the receipts showing that my company made the transfer within the five working days. They have a lousy customer service, totally automated and useless in which they answer over and over again the same useless stupidity for those who have a problem as a customer. Unfortunately my company chose them as a provider but for any Start Up or company that wants a global digital payments service, avoid like the plague!
