I mainly use Ontop to receive my paycheck, transfer money when needed, and pay for everyday expenses using the Visa card, which makes managing my funds straightforward and convenient. Pros I really value how simple and user-friendly Ontop is. Its intuitive interface streamlines onboarding, contract creation, and handling international payments, often requiring very little setup. I also find the digital wallet and the linked Visa card especially convenient for receiving and using funds worldwide. Cons There was nothing in particular that stood out to me. However, I think adding support for Apple Pay and Google Wallet would be a nice improvement. Pros “Easy experience, great benefits with the subscription, and a really good app. When I had the physical debit card, I was able to use it all around the world. Cons Nothing to say, my experience has been good. I’d probably suggest providing a physical debit card for people who live in Europe or enabling Apple Pay integration. Before Ontop, managing compliance, different currencies, and timely payments across various geographies was a slow, expensive, and high-risk process. Now, we use the platform to manage our entire international workforce payroll. It ensures we are compliant everywhere we operate and that our contractors are paid accurately and on time, every time. This has drastically improved our efficiency and helped us scale our global talent acquisition without the usual payment headaches. Pros The Ease of Use and Ease of Implementation are what truly set Ontop apart. Getting set up was remarkably fast and straightforward, much quicker than other international payment systems I've used. For day-to-day work, the platform is incredibly intuitive—I don't have to spend time troubleshooting or explaining complex processes to new users. Since I use it frequently (multiple times per week), this high level of simplicity is essential. The process for making global payouts is fluid, and the transparency in fees and exchange rates is also a major plus. Finally, the Customer Support team is responsive and highly knowledgeable, which has been extremely helpful when dealing with niche international compliance questions. Cons While the platform offers a solid number of features for core global payments and compliance, I would love to see a more robust set of advanced reporting and analytics tools built directly into the dashboard. Right now, I sometimes have to pull data and analyze it externally to get the deep insights I need. Also, the Ease of Integration with a few of our legacy financial tools could be slightly smoother. While the API is functional and their team helps, a broader array of out-of-the-box, no-code integrations would save us a bit of development time.
