Pros Overall a great software to use. Easy to use, easy to send out, and manipulate and make changes within the document without creating another link. This has become very popular with our customers and has become an important part of the service we offer. Very pleased overall. Thank you! Pros I love how you can easily replace the PDF and it doesn't not affect the link the customer has. We frequently update our catalogs so this feature is a huge plus! Cons I have been very satisfied. It is easy to use and our patrons really enjoy it. Pros We can put a lot of information about the topic in one place so our website is not overwhelmed with information that only some people want. Cons Because our license only allowed us to upload 10 at a time, we felt the need to purchase the software so that we wouldn't have to delete older ones that were still useful. It was a worthwhile purchase, though, so we are glad we did. It works both on desktop and mobile, which is so important. Cons Would love more control over the landing page, the page where the publication is loading. The final document works, but there is a lot of setup involved. After taking a ton of time setting it up, another department did the same thing in PowerPoint, which doesn't require html, or server setup. Pros It is easy to make a magazine-like document, with page-turn sounds. I love, most of all, the ability to do a full text search in the document, eliminating the need for a table of contents or index. Cons There are a lot of steps to get it to work with some systems. Some knowledge of html and site programming is necessary. Reason for choosing FlippingBook Publisher Thought this would be easier to use. However, because of the ease of use and the ability to design my pages then import the PDF's into FlippingBook, I have never looked anywhere else for another publisher. I've been using it for probably 15 years + and am impressed with the improvements over the period. Plus the support is excellent. Pros ease of use and stability. You're forcing me to use 40 characters - not necessary Cons It's expensive. Compare the cost to Adobe Creative suite. It's about half the price for a single use software. I don't like that some features like password protection are not available without a very significant additional cost. If I only need ot for a couple of publications, it just isn't worth it. It's perfect for our needs and probably under-utilized given the many features and improvements they've made. Full disclosure: I'm on the previous release, but there has never been an update or new release that caused any issues. The few times I've asked Support a question, they have responded quickly with clear instructions and pleasant attitude. Pros It does a great job of presenting our wholesale catalog and is easy to use. Cons I do wish it ran on Mac OS. That would be really wonderful. I just wish the programme was more accessible for Mac users. Pros The software is really intuitive to use, and enables you to easily customise your flipbooks with logos for clients and link them to other pages. The design is clean and works great across our corporate platforms. I find this programme the most streamlined out of similar programmes, and would recommend it highly. Cons The only con we found was there was no downloadable programme for macbooks (unless we paid for subscriptions to run Windows on Mac, which would slow down our machines). The downloadable programme allows the user to create, export, and self-host flipbooks. Using the online version offers the same functions, but as a much higher price. Does require some advanced techniques for the more interactive stuff. Cons It would be great if the software included a quick text to gif feature. The software allows you to import gifs that animate on pages but you have to build those in adobe software, which is fine if you have the team. Still it would great if you had a feature where you typed in text and it made a quick animated gif from it. This would make it easier and more attractive to less advanced users. Necesita un reestudio a fondo sea del formato que de las prestaciones. Cuando Adobe saque el nuevo formato responsive que han anunciado, nadie va a pagar por el FlippingBook. Pros La calidad de como rasteriza a los PDF, y en general Cons 1\. Que no hay versión para MacOS 2. No tiene ningún tipo de animación posible 3. Es muy caro 4. Lleva casi 5 años sin prestaciones nuevas, se limitan a pulir el software pero no introducen nuevas funcionalidades como galerías de fotos o gráficos animados. We've used it for several years and are very proud of how our magazines turn out when set up in Flipping Book. I am able to import pdf files easily and use set templates for each publication that I work with. A feature that I love is that FlippingBook recognizes URLs within a document and automatically links them. Adding additional links as well as videos is very easy as well. Cons As a designer I mostly use a Mac, this is only available in PC so I have to move my files over to a PC laptop in order to work with FlippingBook. I would be great if it was available for a Mac. I have had issues with uploading pdf files and some of the pages having odd screens or boxes on them, which makes me have to troubleshoot and figure out how to get the pages to look correct. April 4, 2022 3.0 We have a quarterly internal magazine for our company and it always reads well via FlippingBook. The page turns and hyperlinks consistently work well. Pros We used it for years to share marketing material with our clients. Once we had a talk with customer service about security - they made sure our confidential material didn't leak on to the net. Cons Some of the interface felt a little outdated. It can take some time to refresh documents online, when files are large (I realize that could be a problem with our own internet access).
