Pros The features I loved most about the software was how easy it was to learn and integrate into my projects. I had to build numerous data acquisition unit aswell as servo -motors and temperature sensors. The code was easy to develop with my entry level understanding of C. The products are well priced and durable and easy to integrate Cons There were no complaints regarding the product. The user interface was well made. This IDE also has serial monitor feature which is used to see the working of microcontroller board. It is also free to use and have serveral useful libraries for easier development. Mainly for school and college projects. Pros This software is used to write codes for Arduino based microcontrollers. It also used to dump or upload code to microcontroller board by using usb connector. Cons Arduino IDE doesn't handle large codes for implementation. It only used for less complex codes. Allows for easy software development and quick visualisation to see if you have achieved your desired outcome. Pros The debugging ability of the software is incredibly useful when coding, immediate errors with locations of problems are flagged and solved quickly with vast resources available on what to do if the error persists. Being able to quickly prototype code and upload it to arduino boards makes solution development fast and easy. Cons Occasional bug crashes, issues with connecting arduino boards and viewing the output. Pros Arduino is a great start for beginners in embedded systems.I used it in programming few projects at the beginning of my programming path and it was great.There is few project codes in the site that helped me at my beginning and Arduino has a large community with huge amount of tutorials so the learning curve will be very easy. Arduino was one of the reasons that made me love programming Cons The error handling was too bad I couldn't put my hand on the error in the code.It also some make errors when connecting the chip to computer and choosing which port to burn the code to.
