Highly recommend it. These guys are just geniuses in how they have managed to make my SCCM and Intune life so much easier.

Pros

How easily does it integrate with SCCM and Intune? You can deploy an app with ease. Very simple when you get the hang of it. The integration with Intune is even greater. The ability to import custom apps with just a few clicks. From day one I have just loved how Patch My PC has made our lives so much easier and that you can rely on it 100%. Absolutely love this product.

Cons

A little bit complicated to set up and learn to use it right.

### "Patch My PC is a No Brainer"

Overall, Patch My PC is an industry leader in application patching. If you're seeking the services that Patch My PC offers, they're dollar for dollar the most practical investment a company could make. Everything else the provide is just icing on the cake.

Pros

Patch My PC is excellent at doing what it's advertised to do - Patching your pc. It offers a fairly robust catalogue of applications, the team is very responsive and knowledgeable, and the customer service is absolutely second to none. Their documentation is top-tier, and the effort they put into their product stands out above other vendors.

Cons

Extended features of secondary products, while perfectly functional in most features, in a sense leave some things to be desired and lack depth in customization that a majority of users won't even know they're missing. Any issue I have with PMPC isn't about what they're already doing - it's about what they could do in addition to the excellent services they already provide, and I feel that is a great problem for PMPC to have.

Mainly price, if the Intune Suite were cheaper, we wouldn't have considered Patch My PC at all. If Patch My PC were able to provide a feature similar to EPM - or a feature similar where we could allow end users administrative rights on demand, similar to admin by request, we may never leave PMPC.

We had a wonderful experience with patchmypc. From the sales team being generally helpful and wonderful to work with, to the implementation team that was available in case we needed any assistance.

Pros

How simple it is to get setup and going. We needed a quick solution using on premise infrastructure we already had. The integration with SCCM was beautiful and simple to setup. Allowing us to quickly deploy and maintain a simple, easy patching solution.

Cons

The reporting side of things requires an additional setup, and is not natively built into the install. Would like to see improvements their for on-premises patchmypc deployments, but this was a minor gripe on an overall great product.

Fantastic, it has saved me so much time and headspace, as well as makes application management so very simple.

Pros

How simple it is to manage my Intune company portal and build a software catalogue. The functionality to add updates and quickly take all apps your deploy and cover them for rolling updates is great.

Cons

Some apps arent covered and are unable to be added due to odd rules like having more that 5 digits in parts of their version numbers.

### "Makes complicated tasks simple"

There are not many tools that make your life easier in the IT world, Patch My PC is one. From the initial demo that we had, to the questions we've asked to the support everything has been perfect.

Pros

It makes application packaging that can be complicated really simple. We have had the tool for a couple of months and already its beginning to save to us time. Its really great knowing that applications are continually updated. From the initial demo to the support has been 1st class.

Cons

PMPC Cloud is lacking in features compared to the initial publisher. Some of the choices and explanation around update rings have been confusing.

My overall experience with Patch My PC is very positive for the moment, the support is quite responsive despite the fact that we are not in the same time zone Ultimately, it is a tool that does the job and is well integrated with MS Intune

Pros

What I liked most about Patch My PC was its simplicity and efficiency. The user interface is intuitive, which makes managing software updates incredibly easy. In addition, the ability to update multiple applications with a single click is a considerable time saver. I also appreciate the regularity of the updates offered, which guarantees that my software is always up to date and secure. Finally, the customer support is responsive and always ready to help when needed.

Cons

What I liked least about Patch My PC is that some updates can sometimes fail without clear explanation. The interface, although intuitive, is still basic and advanced options would be welcome.

It's been very good they have a great customer service and they are helpful. Once it's setup it easy to use and saves me a ton of a time it's a great product

Pros

It saves me a ton of time and I'm allow to focus on other parts of my job. It has the latest updates and I'm able to push them out with ease

Cons

It's not cheap and it's takes a long time for new software to be added. I have put in over 10 request and in 4 years they have done 3 of them. They are all doable but they need to work better on request with votes

### "Huge Time saver"

Very easy to use, with the newly introduced SaaS solution it can even be used without any onprem Servers. PatchMyPC makes it posible that we, approve more requested software, because we don't have any extra work with packaging and providing it.

Pros

The software saves very match Time, we can use for other topics then packaging software and updates.

Cons

Sadly some more complicated Packages like Autocad are not available.

Easy to setup, easy to maintain, custom apps can be deployed to fit our needs and really making us as an IT Department more efficient.

Pros

It is very easy to make applications available through Intune/Company Portal and keep them up to date. The biggest benefit is that it costs us less time to manage. Besides, removing the "boring" work it also improved our application deployment.

Cons

The application will only push. So, whenever you change a setting or adjust the scope via the Patch My PC Publisher it will not update in Intune. These adjustments we have to do manually. It would be nice if this process is changed the feature.

PMPC is indeed one of those tools that you can easily overlook but greatly appreciate for its seamless functionality. It grants me the ability to respond positively more often when different teams request specific software installations on their computers. For instance, I can now allow our developers to have Notepad++ installed via the Intune company portal, while ensuring that the software receives the latest updates automatically. This has made my life easier in several ways:My team is relieved from the burden of managing or creating application packages.I have peace of mind knowing that PMPC will consistently release the most recent updates from their repository.I am no longer perceived as someone who simply rejects requests without consideration.For anyone who values efficient application management and utilizes inTune, seriously considering PMPC would be highly beneficial.

Pros

PMPC simplifies the process of deploying patches effortlessly. By utilizing the inTune model, it becomes an obvious choice for deploying updates to a large number of users and their applications. With PMPC, updating widely used applications such as Adobe PDF, Chrome, and FireFox becomes a breeze. These three applications alone encompass 80% of our essential business applications, and they are prime targets for malicious actors. The prospect of PMPC updating these applications through our MDM is incredibly attractive.In addition I really like the open roadmap they share. I see they are actively adding new applications while also ensuring they hear from the community on feedback.

Cons

We have encountered disruptions caused by PMPC, particularly with certain Adobe updates that caused problems for a portion of our users, including our CFO. It was highly frustrating that such issues arose, especially considering the widespread installation of Adobe Reader throughout our environment.

Instead, all users are now enrolled in inTune, where PMPC takes charge of ensuring that they are running the latest versions of applications. This approach has significant advantages, as it only necessitates an internet connection and eliminates the need for a VPN connection to our PDQ server. This change is greatly appreciated, given the increased convenience and flexibility it provides.

Superb! The onboarding is fantastic, and once up and running you feel like you're part of a knowledgeable community. It has helped streamline our deployment processes, helped save us time and also given us greater compliance for schemes like Cyber Essentials.

Pros

A large list of software that is expanding rapidly, and also the ease of setup and deployment. We can push software rapidly now via Intune, knowing it's been packaged well and will update itself without intervention.

Cons

The on-prem interface feels a little old, but they are about to replace this with a cloud-based modern solution.

My overall experience has been great and impressed on how quick apps can be packaged and maintain updates.

Pros

I just like how quick packaging can be done compared to using a deployment tool and then uploading it to Intune. Very user friendly the Cloud and on-prem is great as well. I like the constant updating of the cloud version and applications. I like the ability to create custom apps as well. Also, technical support is very responsive and helpful!

Cons

Don't have many cons about the product other than not having Penndot applications. A way to clean up old packages that were created from PMPC after a new update was created.

Pros

I've used Patch My PC at multiple organizations throughout my career. Each time, we've seen an immediate ROI due to the time savings, security risk mitigation, and overall level of effort reduction surrounding application packaging, publishing, and maintenance. This tool makes it simple for anyone to be able to quickly and efficiently deliver applications to your user population. The PMPC support team are helpful, responsive, and always willing to demonstrate solutions to any questions we have. On top of all that, the setup is incredibly simple and takes minimal time to begin publishing apps to your environment. My team uses the tool every day and, well... it just works!

Cons

Nothing! I have no complaints with the tool, company, support, or any aspect of the product.

### "Amazing product, saves massive amounts of engineers time"

Pros

Ease of setup initially, easy to follow KB's and once it's setup it can pretty much be left alone to do it's thing! Also pricing is very reasonable.

Cons

Lack of cloud option and having vm costs, but i know that is almost ready to go now. A migration option to move from a vm to cloud would be a nice feature.

### ""Time and Money Saver!!!""

user friendly, fast, time saver, and gives lots control to app deployments. Still need many feature that can very helpful, like deploy multiple version of same app, as requirement are different for end users.

Pros

Patch My PC has an extensive catalog, superb integration with Intune, and a fantastic support team! You just check a few boxes of the apps you want to patch and within 2-3 minutes apps are in Intune. It is highly customizable yet still effortless to use. I am able to create automation for my app deployments.

Cons

The documentation can have more examples on how to use certain functions. Lack certain basic features like icons or sync flexibility like "sync every two weeks". If you switch tabs you have scroll again to go back to which app you were on. if you accidentally uncheck an app and recheck it, it resets all the settings for that app. Assignment done on Intune does now show up in PMYPC, yet it has the rights and does to scan of Intune. i'd like to see these features but nothing major dislike. Oh yeah, we need MAC!!! support, that will be a major Win.

### "3rd Party Application Management with PatchMyPC"

We implemented PatchMyPC almost 3 years ago to help us build out our Intune Application Catalog. We have saved so much manpower over that time with not having to package over a hundred different applications. With how much we save PatchMyPC is easily paid for every year. We can be certain that when a user goes to the portal to install an app they are always installing the most up to date version of the app. We've also begun using PatchMyPC to help us keep existing applications up to date on systems where they are deployed. These processes run extremely well and have reduced the amount of calls we get to the Help Desk asking for assistance with installing or updating software.

Pros

\-The PatchMyPC catalog is quite extensive, as of the writing of this review there are over 1300 applications available. -PatchMyPC integrates with both Intune & SCCM, making it easy to publish applications to either platform. -You can manage both initial install applications & update applications with PatchMyPC. \_PatchMyPC setup was easy with their support team guiding you through the process. They are very responsive when you have any issues or need to submit a ticket, which is rare but does happen. I do not believe we have ever waited more than a couple of hours for an initial reply to any issues we've seen. -PatchMyPC maintains a very active uservoice ideas board, where anyone can suggest product features or applications they would like to see added to the catalog. They are very good about providing feed back on the product roadmap and taking the suggestions in to consideration. -PatchMyPC regularly does product webinars to explain new features or go over how best to use current ones. The discussions are lively and you also get the viewpoints of other customers to see how they may be using the product.

Cons

\-Getting started with the interface can seem a little daunting with all of the options available.
