The support we got after setting up Patch My PC has just been great.

Pros

Once Patch My PC is set up it just works. We initially got it because of 3rd party patch management and have since been impressed with the application management. The ability to easily add an application in the Software Center and knowing that it will be automatically updates along the way is just perfect.

Cons

There are a lot of settings in Patch My PC and it took us a while to get them just right.

We are very happy with the product and we hope to continue using it for many years to come.

Pros

The product is very easy to use and intuitive. I had no trouble setting up any existing configurations.

Cons

It would be great if you can come up with a way to automatically inform the administrator when a certain product (i.e Cisco AnyConnect or 7Zip) has reached x number of installations on our workstations so that we can take action accordingly by adding that product to the patch cycle.

Pros

The main features we were looking for was patch management and application deployment packaging. PMPC handles both of these in such a simple and straightforward manner, I was able to get it running in production in no time.

Cons

I don't get to complain about the product. I like to complain. But I can't. I have nothing to complain about. It's so frustrating.

Patch my PC help our environment to reduce our vulnerabilities significantly. Without Patch my PC we would never be able to reduce our backlog of patching

Pros

Patch my PC is simple to setup and integrate very easy with SCCM and Intune. It is basically setup and forget.You get notified if patches are successfully published, as well as failures. If failures the notification provide easy steps to rectify any issues.

Cons

Would like to see some form of Dashboard to monitor patch deployment and the status of the deployment.

patches are installed automatically, and we have an option if we want to check for patches, daily weekly or monthly

Cons

as of now, there is nothing I do not like about this product. But maybe you can think of integrating with JamF too so that both Windows and Macs can be taken care from 1 portal.

Patch My PC has revolutionized the way we deploy 3rd party applications by automatically downloading the updates, creating the deployment packages and assigning them to our test groups and the Enterprise at the same cadence we deploy monthly OS patches.

Pros

Ease of use and very easy to set up. Really great support and fast response to questions / issues

Cons

The integration between our Config Manger and Intune environments was super easy.

Love it!

Pros

Incredibly easy application patching and deployment. I can get new applications easily approved through our Security team just by knowing it will be auto patched.

Cons

I really wish there was more Autodesk software in Patch My PC. I am also hoping to get Intune Win32 dependencies in the custom deployments, but I know that is very difficult task.

Pros

Patch my pc is a very simple solution that integrates with our existing management solutions, Config Mgr / Intune. You do not need any extra infrastructure for it since it leverages your existing DPs or Intune for software deployment.

There is nothing that ever ever disliked about Patch my pc in the 4+ years that I’ve been using it. If they don’t have a specific feature or APP support we can add it as an Idea for them and it will most likely

I can't tell enough how much time I saved since implementing PatchMyPC. It is very easy to get support when needed.

Pros

Patch My PC is the tool that helps me keep 99% of the installed applications up-to-date by automatically checking for and downloading the latest software updates and critical patches. It supports a wide range of software. The tool is user-friendly, with a simple and straightforward interface.

Cons

A few applications require a manual download of the updates to be added to Patch My PC to be deployed.That's not a PatchMyPC limitation but a software developer restriction.

We were looking for a third party patch management and once we saw the PatchMyPC demo we said, it is so easy. we were expecting that the experience using it was different from the demo (as always is) but not this time , was easy and working like in the demo.We love PatchMyPC. It is so reliable !!!

Pros

We use PathcMyPC mainly for Intune third party apps update and package creation. What makes PatchMyPC great is the simplicity of the setup, the reliability and the customization to fit what you need, after you setup your environment it is a kind of launch and forget.All our apps are always updated. Users and Security Team are happy !

Cons

It is not possible, for example, to create different profiles, for servers and for workstations since PatchMyPc here it is used by different Teams and wuld be good that each Team can see only their configuration profile.

Only adopted in the past several months but very impressed with the product and its features. 3rd party patching has been a big challenge within the company for many years and poorly managed. I am hoping to get it to a much better place with patchmypc.

Pros

Ease of use and automation, used alteris previously which was much more complex.

Cons

requires dedicated machine to host but i believe this will be no longer required soon.

Pros

Patch My PC plugs a gap in device management by removing the anxiety of having unpatched 3rd party products. It is so easy to use and can be up and running in minutes with applications deployed and updates configured.

Cons

It would be nice to have a SaaS version of PMPC to remove the requirement for a sever to host the software.

Pros

The integration into SCCM was quite easy to implement. Anything that we did have questions on, there was plenty of documentation out there to show me exactly what needed to be done. It saves hours every day finding, and creating packages for updates and deployment.

Cons

Getting some of the manual download software working properly is a bit finicky. This seems to be more on the software being downloaded though.

### "A major time saver"

Pros

As a sysad managing 500+ PCs, 90 Windows Servers, and 800+ macOS clients, my most valuable resource is time. PatchMyPC replaced a similar patch management product, and I've found that it performs better than anything else I've tried. My time spend on patch management has dropped from 2 - 4 hours a week to... almost nothing! I'm truly shocked that even some of our more obscure applications are in the catalog. PatchMyPC has given be back time that I can spend on other things.

Cons

I would like to see some tweaks to when notification emails get sent, for example, only send if manual intervention is required, but that is a small detail. The only other improvement I'd like is the ability to run the console from a remote machine instead of directly from the server.
