### "Ring Central a usefull tool for companies with a global workforce"

Pros

We love how RingCentral MVP integrates with various tools, such as Google Microsoft 365 which our business uses daily. This enhances communication & efficiency by bringing these platforms to our employees based in different countries.

Cons

We find RingCentral MVP to be expensive compared to other communication software. But we still use it as it is worth for the services they provide.

### "RingCentral is perfect for our business!"

Overall RingCentral is fast, reliable, and offers tons of great features. I would recommend to anyone.

Pros

RingCentral offers tons of options including various call handling capabilities, text, fax, video chat and mobile/desktop app. The call handling and mobile app have been the best features for us. We can call from our mobile with our work phone number and not have to give our our personal cell numbers. After hours, if a client has an emergency, the call handling directs the call to our apps.

Cons

We don't have many complaints about the software/service. Cost would probably be one of our only complaints. It does get very expensive once you start adding lines. I guess you get what you pay for though.

saved some of our sales guys time with logging calls on Salesforce (SFDC)

Pros

\- liked that it had Salesforce (SFDC) integration - looked easy to setup and use; customization for extensions - provides a messaging tool, video conferencing, an all in one solution

Cons

\- sfdc integration is weak; calls are not logged and click to dial does not work for many employees - customer support is the worst. I worked with a specific sales rep and it was great leading up to the point where we signed the contract. After that, impossible to get a response. - set up for a virtual receptionist is complicated - setting up departments is complex and the web interface is not intuitive - training sessions they provide are slow; agent would not cover the areas where I had questions because it was to be covered in a future session. such a waste of time.

Pros

Love Ring Central's email notification, mobile app, caller id and answering format. I can answer calls with confidence when switching from business to personal

Cons

There's not much I don't enjoy about ring central. If has everything I need when I need it. Maybe a little more economical would be great.

### "RingCentral is terrible"

Its been terrible. Setup is a pain, but mostly our negative experience stems from the fact that during the sales process they told us they could provide us a specific functionality that as it turns out they could not. Since this functionality is vital to our business operations we called them on it and were basically told that yeah they can't do it and their system wont do it and its unfortunate the salesperson lied but they aren't going to do anything about it even though we only agreed to use the service based on being told it could do what we needed.

Pros

It works sometimes, some of the features that they claimed to have were actually available.

Cons

They lie about their capabilities to get you to sign up for their software and when it turns out they cant provide the service they said they could they browbeat you with the agreement they lied to you to get you to sign. Massively unethical and they are perfectly ok with it.

Reason for choosing RingEX

The sales person lied to us about what the system could do, though we didn't know it at the time. We chose it because we believed it could function as we needed. As it turns out it cannot. So we chose it but we made a terrible mistake and highly recommend anyone reading this to go with another company that is ethical about their sales process.

### "Changes on the go"

It worked WONDERS when we moved offices... from my cell I could route calls to the office to wherever I was at the time. Once we had our new phone line working I could then flip the calls there. The client had no idea we were surrounded by boxes and only had one phone working!

Pros

I love that I can manipulate / control where calls are routed when something in the day goes off track we can adjust the phone calls accordingly

Cons

there's a lag in first connecting the call to our automated attendant and we cannot use multiple messages (in a rotation) for our on-hold messaging

Smooth. Calls are clear, texting is easy and convenient, and being able to quickly set and change office hours, greetings, etc has made my work life much simpler.

Pros

The softphone for RC is super easy to use, and the texting with attachments is a Godsend. In my business, a lot of my customers close via text, and I even use funny images and memes to market and follow up with them. Honestly, I'm not on the phone that much, so the texting is probably my absolute favorite feature, especially since there is an RC app I can install on my Android.

Cons

Sometimes I have to log out and back in to get notifications about texts, but it's not all the time so not a big deal. Could be my computer, honestly.

### "Not happy with RingCentral - Looking for another provider"

We've been with RC for over 3 years. Frankly I've never been totally happy with their solution or customer service though that has gotten better over time. My biggest complaint with RC is that they removed a feature that was absolutely critical and replaced it with something worthless. I used to be able to display the CALLED NUMBER plus EXTENSION pressed which meant that I could set different ring tones on my phone for different extensions. They changed the system to offer the calling number plus extension which is worthless because I receive sales and support calls from people whom I have never talked to all the time. I've asked that they add back this feature MANY MANY times and I'm completely ignored. For that reason alone I'm looking for another solution. Our company is growing and I'm tired of pouring money into Ring Central when they apparently don't care about us.

Pros

They support complex business rules, call routing, etc.

Cons

System is complicated to set up. Their desktop soft phone is buggy and they don't listen to their customers. I seem to miss calls frequently - my phone doesn't ring but someone leaves a voice message. This happens with my other employees as well. None of us are happy with RingCentral.

### "Great VoIP for use both in the office and the field"

Pros

Ring Central provides a great, web based hub for receiving/sending calls not only within our office, but also with the field. Customer calls to stores can route to our office should they not be answered. Online interface is great for reviewing messages, missed calls, setting up voice recording and connecting with others on the network. The greatest feature is that when a voicemail occurs the system sends an email to the extension with a digital copy of the voicemail along with a transcription of the message; extremely handy for sending along information to the correct departments.

Cons

The Polycom handset we utilize for each desk is not the most intuitive to navigate, but it has the features that are needed and gets the job done; I mostly utilize the web based software as it is far more user friendly.

It was definitely user friendly and a good price for what services we were getting.

Pros

Ring Central was very easy to setup and use. It was easy to integrate with several other tools including PipeDrive.

Cons

It would randomly fail and wouldn't work for several hours. I did reach out to their customer service, but they were not able to let me know exactly why.

The ability to work from home or while traveling without being charged a fee. The ability to do everything we need from one platform - calls, faxes, conference calls.

Pros

Ease of use and functionality. This system allows us to connect our lines with our cell phones, send faxes straight from our desktops, have several conference calls going at once, check voice mails from our phones or email.

Cons

Nothing to do with the software but when our internet goes our at work so does the phone lines, so if your internet goes down a lot be prepared.

Pros

Easy to manage portal in order to edit call flow. When we move people around we can easily edit options

It was a great complement to our contact center for a specific campaign and client, really great as we are getting to used with Ring central.

Pros

Video Meeting and easy to share documents, really great and complete, lots of features and full report.

Cons

To get more customized features you need to escalate plans, instead of just adding some features you could need without choosing full plan features and prices.

Pros

I use this for making calls. I know it can do more but that's what I use it for. the service is never down. when you log in, it's not very difficult to setup call groups, and all the fancy stuff.

Cons

I seriously have no complaints except that the navigation of the admin UI is kinda hard . For example if you want to mess with the adv settings like change company hours or something it can be kinda hard to find what you need but that's something we only do once or twice a year.

Have enjoyed using this software. One of the better VOIP providers.

Pros

You are able to use a desk phone, desktop app, or mobile app. So you have your business phone with you basically anywhere. The apps all work well for the most part. And pricing is fairly reasonable.

Cons

Requires annual contract in order to get decent pricing. The mobile and desktop apps often don't run after not using for a day or so. Also, the bluetooth always doesn't work on the mobile app each morning and have to reset.

We have had an excellent experience with Ring Central. Customer service has always been prompt to assist.

Pros

This program is so user friendly even a child could use it. The fax out service allows you to send fax directly from your email, or you can use the desktop or app portal and send it the traditional way. Notifications come directly to your email, so you just open the PDF and view, or you can save to file. Another great option is the HIPPA compliance feature. This will then require a log in to view sensitive materials that may be subject to privacy laws. This program is be a great addition for any business.

Cons

The preview cover sheet option does not work on all browsers, so we are not sure of the layout. Sometimes there are lags in outgoing transmissions and they take a little longer than others.

Reason for choosing RingEX

Service was more robust and had more to offer. Value Value Value!

Pros

We use RingCentral at work and I love it! I use it multiple times a day for answering/making phone calls and also use the texting feature.

Cons

The deployment of RingCentral wasn't the best, BUT, my work is very complex so we had a lot of questions when we were setting things up that I don't think other companies would normally have.

### "RingCentral has many great features"

The system has robust features. That is great. When we have a problem the support is bad.

Pros

RingCentral has many great features. We use it for phone, video, faxing and more. We switched from another VOIP provider and we saved 50% on our monthly fees and have way more features.

Cons

We prefer Zoom over the video conference system they offer, which is a white label Zoom product but they appear to be migrating away. If you have a problem their customer support is terrible. We use a third party technology vendor which has a special number to call for support. Whenever we have had an issue it was impossible to work with their support directly in almost every case. But our technology vendor has made it very easy. Once you have it set up the need for support is likely to be limited.

8 out of 10- i like its uses but dislike the trouble with the freezing my phone

Pros

I work remotely and its great to provide an avenue for clients to call and for me to call clients from my personal phone but through the app so that it does not give my personal number

Cons

for the first few months there seemed to be issues with it freezing my cell phone occasionally so i would have to uninstall and reinstall.

Great program overall. Recommend.

Pros

Easy to use from anywhere. When our offices were forced to close due to a mudslide that closed the freeway (preventing employees from coming into office), I was able to update phone message and set up employees to take calls from home. Kept our business running as seamlessly as possible during a horrible situation.

Cons

Customer service based overseas, which I'm never a supporter of. Hard to work with, but eventually resolved problem.

RingCentral helps my business connect with customers and internal team members in a seamless, professional way. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.

Pros

There are so many great features in this product. Call quality is excellent. I can easily communicate with my team in real-time and I can share files easily. I can track inbound and outbound calls very easily. It's easy to deploy. Both the desktop version and the mobile version are easy to use and work great.

Cons

There really aren't any negative aspects to this product.
