### "Digital Calls at your fingertips"

up until this month everything has been great, once we found out about price change our account rep contacted us about the price which was great on their part but they did nothing to try to keep us as a customer due to our company being a long term customer. We are still in process of perhaps moving to a different service.

Pros

It's very user friendly, they have great customer service. Our company has their own account manager which happens to be very helpful.

Cons

They recently increased their prices on lines with local numbers, the price did remain the same for digital lines so our bill is going to go up higher while other companies are offering better prices for the same services.

### "Ring Central integration into Teams"

RingCentral has given us a steady phone system with various options for configuration. It also provides us with a good DR system.

Pros

Ringcentral has been excellent in providing a backbone to our MS Teams and SIP calling system. RingCentral is easy to setup and cost effective which has allowed us to deploy it easily across the org with users noticing minimal difference from the previous system. RingCentral is feature rich and is continuing to progress.

Cons

RingCentral is feature rich but at times this can be detrimental as it can be difficult to find the option/setting your looking for. The online documentation repo could also be improved.

Pros

I love being able to make and receive calls via a business line and being able to join and host meetings.

Cons

The customer service could be improved. They are very polite but it seems to take a while to fix issues.

The product was sensationalized to be the perfect solution, but what I got was a program that was not user friendly. I was also very dissatisfied with product support. However, if these issues were addressed, it would be a perfect tool. The features, when functioning properly, are bar none.

Pros

The software has a bunch of great options. For example, you can generate a number and access pin for conference calls and webinars, you can choose any area code for your direct line, and there's a multiple option voicemail option.

Cons

More often than not, the features would be glitchy. Other times there were additional charges to use some features - nowhere on the contract or literature was that stated. Customer service left a lot to be desired as well. Most of the reps spoke English as a second language and the questions or issues got lost in translation. The turn around for support tickets is super slow also.

My business problems I am able to resolve is reaching my teammates in a timely manner . As we know most people check there phone more than there emails on a regulary basis.

Pros

The features I like most about software is that I can not only get in touch with my teammates quickly I can also set up messages to be sent as reminder and fax right from my computer .

Cons

Currently there are no real issues I dislike accept one minor one . I cannot change the time zone it remains on default zone only .

Negative. I prepaid for the year and as soon as it is over I plan on moving to 8x8 faxing, which offers much cheaper rates and they can port our number over.

Pros

Despite all of the negative feedback I have for Ringcentral, the can be easy to use. It is easy easy to navigate through the website and find sent/unsent messages.

Cons

The customer support is terrible. Our faxes were not sending and it took more than one week for someone to get in touch with me. Each fax sent decreases the amount of minutes were allocated per month, and I found that most of our faxes took 8-13+ mins each time. A fax should take 1 minute to send. I tested out other websites, faxing the same document to the same phone number and it took 1 minute vs. Ringcentral's 8+ mins. These additional minutes create lots of extra charges per month, so Ringcentral turns out to be a costly program to use.

RingCentral assists my business with interfacing with clients and interior colleagues in a consistent, proficient way. It's an extraordinary item and I energetically suggest it.

Pros

Their client assistance is okay, and they are adaptable stage for calling administrations. Their calling highlights are okay, however they are on the pricy side contrasted with different administrations. You can accept approaches both work area and on a cell, so it mitigates the requirement for a business cell plan and moves all call administrations on the web. Porting over client contacts was quite simple with the RingCentral client agent.

Cons

The explanation RingCentral is as it were "practically great" is the irritating record reps, who call as often as possible. Once I had one call each client for us inside the space of several days! This was finished all the while assuming a pretense of guaranteeing everybody was content with the help, however all that did was make a situation where everybody whined - for the sole time, mind you- - about RingCentral. ### "Easy to record calls"

Since the beginning, it has been very easy to use and the few problems we had, the customer service has been amazing.

Pros

for training purposes, we have to record calls from time to time and this software is being the easiest one to implement and also the easiest one to use

Cons

sometimes the recorded call is too big, and it doesn't upload automatically to the cloud, you have to do it manually. If those two small things are resolved, this could be the best software in the market

### "Drowning in complexity"

I signed up with RingCentral many years ago. At that time, their web interface for managing call trees and routing was user friendly and reasonably intuitive. A year or two in, RingCentral rolled out a completely new version of their software that used Flash and obscured the power of their platform in layers of complexity. Add several acquisitions and the interface has become a fragmented mess. Chrome is really the only web browser that allows access to all the functionality, but now it no longer works with their 2-factor authentication. In fact, 2FA has been an issue across several of their services for a year or more. Having to call tech support for even the most basic tasks is frustrating, but when such an intervention resulted in hundreds of dollars of unnecessary charges, I finally called it quits with RingCentral.

Pros

There is a LOT of functionality if you are willing to put up with the hassles of configuring and using it.

Cons

Web interface is unintuitive and fragmented. 2 factor authentication is unreliable.

Pros

As a small business owner, keeping operating costs low is the name of the game. I was getting calls through the night so I needed a phone system that can help me set office hours and give extension numbers to my staff. Ring Central took care of that.

Cons

I compared the prices of RingCentral and MyPhone.com and found that Ring Central was slightly more expensive. I did end up moving over to myphone.com

Excellent cloud based VOIP service.

Pros

I like being able to use it across any device be it my desk top, laptop, tablet or whatever. I also like that my voicemails will go to my email. That is very helpful to me. Their customer support is extremely helpful. I have always dreaded calling any companies customer service except this one.

Cons

The only downside is that with it being cloud based if your internet is down or bad then your phone service will be as well but you are going to have this issue with any cloud based VOIP not just Ring Central. They are a great company and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Pros

\--Works great as VOIP phone system for small office --The text messaging feature is just like the one on your phone, you get SMS and MMS, it's Awesome --Is able to be integrated into various automation platforms --Comes with the "paid" version of Zoom meetings --Desktop App is pretty good --Integrates well with Google Chrome and other web browsers --Has click to dial from the Chrome extension --Setup initially is pretty simple.

Cons

\--Customer service is pretty meh. Your "rep" is going to change quite frequently and they aren't based in the US, so there is a serious cultural and language barrier. They also will not understand how to help your business. --Setting up the product with automation platforms is complicated if you don't have significant technical skills. --The product is pretty pricey relative to what you receive, in my opinion --There desktop has some quirks that take some getting use too. --There is about a 1/2-1/4 sec latency in the phone connection. Can be very annoying sometimes. --Occasionally, the connection with another person, especially if its a cell phone is shotty. 2x a week I'd say.

Pros

Easy of use, is hands down the best thing about Ring Central's software, our calls can be, and often are, routed to people working from home, in the office, and even as account managers travel remotely. The software is very stable, provided you have a solid internet connection. We've encountered a few times(3+) where our service suffered due to poor internet quality, however, for the price this is a pretty good deal.

Cons

Loss of connection, or spotty/crackling calls due to poor internet is a very frustrating experience when you are trying to take care of customers in the field. We experienced poor customer service from Ring Central a few separate times. The people were nice, but the time frames they expected us to wait while they attempted to track down our connection issue, was a bit over 6 hours per incident.

Don't need a desk phone and also don't need to use it through a desktop computer. I've always used it directly through my phone.

Cons

Have heard that when people call it doesn't sound like a normal phone call, like music is playing or something. The number I was assigned also comes up on peoples phones as spam. I wish the dialpad and the search function were more cohesively integrated.

### "Great Phone Service for Any Sized Organization"

I have used RingCentral for almost 15 years with no significant outages or issues in that time - and with fully integrated voice features, texting, and audio - video conferencing bridges built into the service my complete Unified Communications is in one fixed price monthly bill. I couldn't be happier with either the product, the service, or the support I've received.

Pros

An incredibly flexible product that is easy to program; with features from interactive menus to full call center capabilities, RingCentral can scale from single-line businesses to supporting organizations with thousands of lines in hundreds of locations. No on-premise equipment needed other than desk phones, this fully Voice over IP (VoIP) service is completely managed from a web portal for provisioning users, managing their services, voicemail, etc.

Cons

Enhanced Caller ID (with name) should be available on all levels of service.

Pros

I love the ability to customize everything within the phone system. This software provides a small to large company the ability to be very agile with their phone systems.

Cons

Difficult to learn the software at first. It is a cumbersome software, that can take some time to set up correctly but once you have it set up it is worth every minute and dime spent doing so.

### "Love The Fax Feature!"

Great overall! My favorite feature, as the review title indicates, is using the fax. Prior to RingCentral, I've never used a computer software application to place calls in my line of work, so to me this is very new and convenient. It eliminates the need to have actual telephones in the office.

Pros

As the title of my review suggests, definitely the feature to transmit facsimiles! While I haven't used the fax feature since WFH (but have used it many times prior), it is very convenient when being able to send faxes without having to access the company's large printer/scanner machine. Also, I like that I receive voice messages sent directly to my inbox, and it is in a format I can download and save.

Cons

2 main cons: 1) For a period of time, I was not able to place or receive calls while WFH because I heard that I had to be under the company's network - i.e. physically in the office with my laptop - in order for RingCentral to operate properly. However, after downloading some sort of update from RingCentral, the issue was resolved. 2) Apparently I have to open the RingCentral application in order for me to receive calls? That's been my experience lately, which can be a pain if I inadvertently forget to open the application when I'm supposed to be called.

I love this product and we have never thought about switching our phone service. As someone who works remote and is on the go, the iPhone ap works well too!

Pros

I work for a company that has to dial all over the globe to generate leads, and I love using RingCentral to do just that. Easy to use, set up conferences, transfer and record calls.

Cons

Different package levels can cause you to not be able to reach certain countries. Connection can sometimes be a problem as well.

I like it! I've been using it for my office for a little over 3 years now and have had very few issues with it. When I did have an issue a year ago, they addressed it right away and even followed up to make sure my problem was taken care of. Definitely recommend to any small business.

Pros

It functions just as well as many large phone systems at a reasonable price and set up was done in one day.

Cons

When I'm on the road, calls routed to my cell phone sometimes get automatically sent to my voicemail.

### "Quick and Easy Online Faxing"

We have successfully switched to faxing online rather than using a physical fax machine. I initially thought this task would be more daunting and avoided it for a while. But RingCentral's platform has made the transition seamless.

Pros

My company has been using RingCentral Office primarily for online faxing purposes for three years now. RingCentral's UI makes it incredibly easy to switch from physical faxing to online faxing. It is made even more convenient since you can fax directly from your email. I cannot tell you how happy we were to be able to finally get rid of our antiquated fax machine.

Cons

Initially logging in was more cumbersome as you had to remember each individual profile's phone number and unique password. But they have since updated their log in system and now you can log in using an email address which is much simpler and easier to remember .

We use ringcentral as a soft phone for our company, mostly to receive calls from different parts of the worlds. All the calls are rerouted to the same number for sales and technical support which makes it extremely convenient. Their app allows to access on the go as well.

Cons

We cannot place calls, we can only receive them because their cost for international calls is too expensive.

Seamless phone integration across multiple offices, a greatly reduced cost, and higher reliability and redundancy.

Pros

Ring Central is extremely easy to use and set up. Reliability is second to none and it has allowed me to seamlessly integrate our corporate phone system across three offices spread out around the country. The online and desktop experience is superb and well-liked by all employees. The app for smartphone makes it very easy to use your mobile device just like the desk phone and you can call all internal and external contacts on the go just as if you are at your desk. The cost is much lower than we were paying before and the best thing about Ring Central is that it involves no hardware (except for the phone) so no risk of server issues or need to ever pay anything for these. Their support is excellent and whatever very minor issues that have come up were quickly resolved via online chatting. Switching our corporate phone system to Ring Central has been one of the best things our company has ever done.

The little things that bother me are not significant when choosing because overall, this is system would be my choice for a call service because of the HIPAA compliance, support and efficiency.

Pros

SUPPORT! Quick, knowledgeable and efficient. I like the follow-up messages. I use the Call Log most of all to track or search for calls that may have been missed. The secure faxing option. Texting

Cons

Sometimes I find digging down to find some of the voice messages and text message in the online site. The mobile app doesn't always show the latest calls. The mobile app call timer is VERY small and very quick to be 'gone'.
