This is a very user friendly software. In the event you need assistance, customer service has come to be very helpful and quick to help. This was not always the case.

Cons

### "Less than Practical, Annoying Features "

It was simply easier to utilize a paper form to reference checking email without the Ring Central feature. I prefered sending faxes in the traditional manner than trying to consolidate all phone line matters into one device.

Pros

I liked the idea of how it was supposed to work for our agency. Unfortunately, it seems to have over promised as a product and definitely under delivered. What I DO like about the product is that I'm able to check voicemails from my email, which is easier than going through a keypad system to access them. I do like that there's a phonebook feature within the app for my own agency.

Cons

The desktop app doesn't update with my email as I check voicemails. For example, I still have a notification that I have 28 voicemails, because I listened to them through the email, not the app... though they're both synced and I have listened and deleted every voicemail. When sending a fax, we were instructed to enter either a 7 or 11 digit number, so, 1, then the area code, or just the regular phone number. That's annoying to have to instruct to staff who are unfamiliar with faxing, or not sending them very often. When faxing from the app, you have to scroll down on the app to see all of the options, as they do not fit on one screen. I'm thankful I didn't sync the app to my phone, like some of my coworkers. For many of them, their cell phone and desk phone now ring at the same time. Many times there are issues with accessing voicemail from any device other than the email.

RingCentral allowed my business to grow and still be affordable. When I switched from land lines to RingCentral 10 years ago I saved a bundle which allowed me to upgrade equipment and keep me running smoothly and effeciently.

Pros

I love how portable RingCentral Office is. As a busy virtual assistant, I love that I can be anywhere I have an internet connection and still be able to take calls for my clients.

Cons

The apps can sometimes be a bit slow or notify me with a lag.

### "Not worth the complete disregard "

If we could rate zero stars, we would. Below is an email sent to a customer service rep who was following up with us about the services. At the bottom is the reply they gave us. We are so fed up with this company and ready to switch! ! The list goes one so much further than this list. Just wanted to put out there a true example of their inability to provide decent and HONEST service. 1.) We have been trying to order a desk phone so that when we are in the office we do not have to use the app on our cell phones (this looks very unprofessional to the patients) One would think this would be a simple process, ALAS it was not! I had to reach out via email several times before I was finally routed to another account manager who said that we needed to log into our account to order the phone. I asked for step by step instructions to make it simple. We are a very busy office, I am the ONLY staff member here outside of the doctor. I need things to work the first time and to be simple. It was not simple. 2.) I FINALLY got instruction, since it seems we can't just ask our account manager to order a phone for us (what is the point of that?!) but it was only half the instructions I needed. After searching and clicking on every option I could think of, I finally figured it out on my own. I was able to select the correct phone and get through steps 1-3. Then I hit another brick wall. I Tried my account manager again via phone and email, no answer so I get on with chat support to

Pros

That there was an app and we could answer/communicate away from the office. Was supposed to be easy and affordable.. it wasn't

Cons

The total disregard for our concerns and issues. The customer service is sorely lacking and I feel we were lied to just to get our foot in the door.

It's useful because it works with our ATS System. However if there were other systems similar that did that, we'd probably explore them.

Pros

We got Ring Central as it integrates with our ATS system. That was the sole reason.

Cons

There seems to be constant connectivity issues where it just stops working for no reason. Also, we have issues when new updates come out.

I am having all calls processed through my mobile phone while using the app. The technology provides many options and features that can be very beneficial. I appreciate the simplicity of the system but am having issues with the quality of the line. I am currently researching reasons why this is happening.

Pros

I like the fact I can keep my numbers and be anywhere in the world. I can fax and receive a fax without a fax machine. I like the running history of my calls and being able to save important calls in my client notes.

Cons

I don't like the quality of the line. I am having problems with the line skipping in mid conversation where my client cannot hear me. Sometimes, when a call is being received, it doesn't ring my phone. I suddenly see someone has called by a voicemail indication popping up.

Pros

I have a RingCentral phone at my desk but I also have it on my phone! I can make calls, text, listen to voicemails and anything else that I can do at my office on my phone.

Cons

When I receive a call, the phone rings both on my phone (like a normal call to my cell phone) and a call through the RingCentral app. It is just a bit annoying because it then shows up two times in my call long on my iPhone.

Easier communication but just hope you don't have any issues!

Pros

The thing I like best about Ring Central is their messaging too called Glip. You can connect the two tools and it makes workplace communication very easy and streamlined.

Cons

These guys have horrible customer service. Anytime I had issues with my Ring Central or Glip account, which was a lot, it was very difficult to fix the issues with their support team.

Overall I've had a positive experience, I use the product mainly for outbound calling and it's reliable and easy enough to use.

Pros

It's clear and easy to use. Has a nice user interface with clear, easy to define icons for different functions. Call quality is usually good too.

Cons

I feel the log in process is a little long and unnecessary, it opens a few other windows during the process and I feel it could be streamlined.

We've had an overall amazing experience thus far. We are now closer to our customers than ever before. We are able to automate text message notifications to our guests and staff.

Pros

We switched to Ring Central a couple of months ago as we were looking for a better Phone system that will integrate seamlessly with our new Vacation Rental Software. We decided to give RingCentral Office a trial and it's been amazing thus far. We were able to integrate the software with our new Vacation Rental Software which made communication with guests far more easier and automated. One major thing that makes RingCentral office stand out is its ease of integration with other Softwares. They also have amazing customer service willing to help and guide every step of the way.

Cons

We've had a great experience thus far that I can't think of too many cons at the moment. Some may find their initial setup daunting. However, it's to be expected considering the many features the software offers, and they more than balance it up with amazing customer service willing to guide you every step of the way.

### "I really hate Ring Central..."

Ring Central offers features like automatic call recording that are seemingly impossible to find elsewhere at a comparable price. This is literally the ONLY thing keeping us with this software. We have technical issues such as calls not forwarding to extensions properly, call detail reports missing crucial data such as which extension answered a call, or even forwarding calls to an entirely different non-affiliated company! We have several support tickets open with RC, some of which have been open for months. Their support center is almost entirely useless, and it is not uncommon to sit on hold for hours at a time as they "investigate" a technical issue. The second we find a viable alternative that has the features we require at a similar price point we are ditching this terrible service and never looking back.

Pros

Ring Central offers a feature set that is hard to find elsewhere for a similar price

Cons

The service is unreliable. We have technical issues almost daily.

Ring Central has made my job substantially more convenient and helped me a lot in separating business from my personal life. I love it and would recommend it to any business looking to set up a company line.

Pros

Ring Central is an excellent software for communicating with clients without giving away personal information. It allows you to use your own phone while setting work hours, redirecting calls, having a separate voicemail, and using a different phone number than your own (like I said, no giving away personal information). You’re even able to text from your new number! One of the largest benefits, in my opinion, is knowing whether incoming calls are through your personal number or your Ring Central number. It allows you to know if you should answer personally for friends and family or professionally for business. Ring Central also starts you out with a company directory with all the other users in your company, making contacting anyone you need extremely easy. The last major benefit is the ability to change (or block) the number you’re calling from. If an issue arises (say a contracted client is ignoring or blocking your calls after services were rendered), you’re able to try with a different number.

Cons

By nature, the software does use internet access, whether it’s data or WiFi. That’s no fault of Ring Central, but rather just by design of using a third party software on your phone. There also isn’t an ability to have group texts (at least, not that I’ve found).

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL - from trying to sign up to getting equipment and then even having to return equipment waiting for the label to return equipment to them - I couldn't send it back myself it had to be RMA and it took 2 weeks

Did not like anything really about this phone service

Cons

Customer service - hard to understand and always wanted you to review everything online first before calling to ask questions

Very good. It's exactly what we need for the type of function it provides for our Call Center volunteers.

Pros

We are an all-volunteer organization and this software enables our volunteers to use their own cell phones to respond to calls without giving away their personal phone numbers. The person they are calling only sees the call coming from HEAR Nashville.

Cons

Have not run into any significant problems to comment about.

I Like how On Ring Central you can also text , send fax , and video chat make meetings. It literally a cellphone on a computer screen ! Its really great ! makes commination so much easier !

Sometimes when the updates happen they do tend to restart a little slower

Overall, this is solid system that is improving every year. I would like to see the mobile app experience more refined but it's a nice VOIP for the money.

Pros

They do constantly update the platform. RingCentral has a lot of integrations with other platforms which is very convenient. The pricing is a bit high but they do give a lot of bang for your buck.

Cons

It can be glitchy when trying to answer calls from your mobile phone.

### "A fine way to manage our office's phones"

We've been very happy with our RingCentral Office experience over the past few years, and since moving the majority of the team to work from home, the ability to take calls through the desktop application rather than over the phones in the office has been a life saver for those that don't want to run wires all through their house or have the technical knowhow to get one of the office phones set up in their home office.

Pros

I like the ability to see all of our incoming and outgoing calls easily and on one screen through the administrator page. On the user's side of things, the program is easy to use and setting up call forwarding isn't hard to do.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about RingCentral Office. It gets the job done. Orange is probably my least favorite color so if I had to pick one thing, it'd be that there is a lot of orange in their software.

Using it for mobile calling and to redirect calls from my desk phone to my cell phone is good most of the time. It has updated somewhat recently to have things working better but before that I hated using it for most stuff and ended up using my own cell instead.

Pros

This is very simple, yet still offers very valuable features. it offers an amazing app for your computer, and app for your cell phone that allows you to text from your office line, dial from your office line, and check voicemail. I use this app daily, and it allows me to text with candidates without using my cell phone. I have not had a complaint yet.

Cons

Recently, I keep getting a notification to update my app on the computer, which I have already done. Other than that, there's nothing negative to say about this software!

I've been with Ring Central for several years but have decided to switch to a different provider with US based support.

Pros

I like the recording feature and how easy it is to hear recorded conversations

Cons

The support is terrible. They don't have a clue about the software's ability and fail miserably when trying to troubleshoot. Simple issues take days to resolve. My dedicated "account rep" is just as bad.

Pros

Easy to setup phones, the soft phone is awesome I use it all the time. I like getting ym voicemail in email. Simple cloud managed solution. If you have solid internet the call quality is very good.

Cons

Some times administration can be a little confusing. Usually it is decent though. It is cloud based, when amazon had an outage last month, the phones were down for a bit.
