Over all it was a great and easy experience. Phones came preprogrammed, softphone and mobile apps were easy to install and user. The configuration was easy as well. Tech support was responsive when using the portal. The porting process was easy and smooth. The only issue was when there was a reject it was hard to get the porting team to call back but email was effective.

Pros

I found the deployment to be the easiest and the portal was also easy to use. the website had clear instructions and implementation and how to use was easy to follow. The software meets our business needs.

Cons

one feature that we used called "Hot Desking" was a lot easier to use and configure on our old system but this was not a game changer.

Being able to take my office line with me no matter where I go is the biggest plus of using this program.

Pros

We like that we can take out office phone anywhere as long as we have our cell phone. It is really easy to use and very reliable.

Cons

We cannot call out of the country without paying several hundred dollars. Also, you can only have one app on your phone for one number and you can only use this program on one computer at a time unless you buy several numbers costing way more than your average phone.

Pros

Cons

None. I couldn't think of any. I am surprised that software updates are not required.

Pros

This is an industry standard, and works very well for what we use it for. We only use the calling features at the moment, but that works great for us.

Cons

We get too many calls from new account reps trying to sell us on an upgraded plan or new features. I've explained that we're not interested, but they keep calling.

Pros

I appreciated that RingCentral is utilized through my laptop, via my cell phone, and translated into voicemails via email and more. When I received a call on my laptop, the navigation through RingCentral made it easy to transfer calls, create a conference call, and track the numbers I received calls from. On top of that, RingCentral integrated with the Zoho CRM and allowed me to make calls through the CRM, logging my calls and providing the opportunity to document what the call was for, and more.

Cons

I found that after my cell phone was linked to RingCentral, even though customers were not calling my personal number, I started to receive a large number of spam calls to my personal number. I'm not sure if there was a link between RingCentral having my actual phone number and the spam calls but I started to think it could be a possibility.

Our office uses VOIP soft phones, and RingCentral offers this service with all the features a business may want, at a competitive price. We complain about the bugs we experience with RingCentral service regularly, but ultimately there are limited options for VOIP soft phones with business ready feature set and RC seems to be top of the heap. I wouldn't necessarily recommend them (as we complain about them seemingly consistently,) but if you need this service they are unfortunately one of the better options.

Pros

Decent feature set for business users, including virtual assistant call routing and automatic call recording.

Cons

Call recording can be finicky, and doesn't function consistently. There have been many times where calls get disconnected when transferring to another line, or call recordings aren't saved.

We used this when we wanted to bring in a VOIP system. It was tested and used for a few weeks but we decided to go in a different direction. It is a good overall system.

Cons

It wasn't bad, just needed a bit more refinement. The app is useful but we just went with teams.

All in all, pretty good system but the glitches can be an annoyance.

Pros

Ring central is great for general business phone use and faxes. Easily download it on your phone and be able to have calls go to your phone on the go.

Cons

There will be times where it says you missed a call but you’re phone never rang. Voicemails not showing up until a day later which is not good for business. They say they have a messaging feature which would be great, but it doesn’t show in the app.

All I cared about was the ability to route call to my cell (and return calls as needed) without giving my personal cell number out. This service allowed for that, and made it easy. It was a very specific reason for me choosing them. Couldn't be happier!

Pros

Did a lot of homework for an affordable solution for one issue. I needed to route my business calls through my cell phone without giving away my cell phone number. This software allows that via an easy to use app.

Cons

The only issue you'll have is trying to stay up to date on all the new services they are always providing. I get emails monthly on a new service that is available to me, or an upgrade of some kind, and though I don't need it, I appreciate their effort to stay best in class.

I love that it can ring away from the store and has an answering tree to make sure we can help our customers even if we aren’t there

I can’t seem to switch from the two lines we have on the app so that I can see how many calls we are getting to each line. I have to log in and log out each time.

I like ring central better then spectrum or At&T. Love that it connects to your mobile phone and can login and out of when needed.

Pros

Easy to use on Mobile phone and link your ext to your mobile app. Easy to transfer calls to the correct person. Can log in and out when needed.

RingCentral is definitely on the feature rich side and is accessible almost anywhere.

Cons

Pricing could be revised, also there are some bugs that we have encountered such as interference between calls, loss of notifications out of nowhere - which is fixed by logging out and logging back in only.

Pros

There are not many pros to this software, a pro is you can down load this to a mobile phone, as well as a desktop Another pro is also that you can text.

Cons

The most annoying thing about this thing is that its a phone software, that never lets you answer the phone.... I can answer the phone maybe 3 out of 10 times, which is really really frustrating. I contacted their customer service more than once and they dont really have the skill set to help you. I did an internet speed test, (even though i know its not my internet, but their "technical service " instead i do it) and also to restart my phone. So yeah that's the technical service you can expect from ring central.

We have used a cloud based VOIP system for many years and switched to RingCentral nearly 3 years ago now. We have been very happy with the service and features of this application. The software support for the application includes a Desktop App that allows you to use your computer as a communication device and message center, a Google Apps extension that works very well with Gmail, Google Calendar etc. The support for Android and iPhone devices is also very robust allowing your staff to use their own phones as company extensions. I doubt you would find a provider more plugged into the mobile world than RingCentral. Our office uses the service on both traditional VOIP handsets as well as the other software options on smart phones and desktops. This is a great solution for organizations with multiple locations or mobile employees. Highly recommended.

Pros

Software support for multiple devices and computers. Good tech support Very Flexible setup.

Cons

Can be costly depending on number of users and feature set desired.
