I really love this product.

Pros

I really like the ability to have a phone number that employees can contact me on, that comes to my phone, but isn't my personal information.

Cons

I haven't come across anything that I dislike during my time using RingCentral. It makes my life so much easier, it's hard to complain.

You would think that having the ability to synchronise contacts to the phone would be out the box, but unfortunately not. We are expected to manually key in every contact on the phone. You are also expected to do so on every phone in the office!

what I like the most about RingCentral that its a friendly user softphone, I use on my daily basis task as I should intact with my customers and assist them with voice calls, text, fax, from the app, I can even use RC on my android , lets not forget to mention that the ring central meeting that I do with my co-workers remotely with a screen share which is really fantastic for our business, saving time, efforts, definitely reliable , it got all i need such Call Monitoring,Conference calls, call park, Extensions,Visual Voicemail , Online Meetings.

Cons

it needs to be worked on that part when I got some calls comes in without a ring and i just find missed calls

Very good

Pros

I can easily set call forwarding to any other store or cell phone when the internet is down. When using the meeting function the audio and video streams are clear and clean. Training and help sections are very useful.

Cons

Sometimes, depending on the search for help topic I need to plow through too many document to find what I need

Great experience with Ring Central, and I think it's honestly a perfect fit for any business that needs a phone service to record phone calls with customers, have a grouping tree of who the calls go to, and overall sales in general. It is extremely powerful to be able to go back and listen to your call with a customer, and assess what you could have done better with someone more experienced in sales.

Pros

There is a lot to say about Ring central, and 99% of it is all positive! This is great phone solution company, competitively priced, industry leading ease of use for its customers, and very responsive and helpful support! Overall it was a pleasure to use, and I would highly recommend it to anyone as long as you don't need a phone solution that can Integrate with Pipedrive.

Cons

The 1% negative part about this company is that we couldn't integrate it with our current sales CRM Pipedrive, which ultimately was the reason we switched. Other than that, it was one of the easiest phone systems to use, and I never had an issue unsolved with their support team.

Pros

The international rates are decent. But with Google Business voice don't need it anymore.

Cons

Won't let me cancel service via chat or email or online. Calling in the only option. Currently I"m in que and the wait time on just to cancel is 29 minutes!!

Pros

I'm using Ring Central as part of a large organization. I'm on a Mac and it works great! The way it's setup I can easily find all contacts in the directory with just a few clicks. I recently made the app the default for phone calls, and now a simple click on any phone number it launches the app and voila, connection right away. I like also how I can configure it so that when I get called to my Ring Central number it also calls my mobile. If I don't pick up, and the caller leaves a message I get an easy indicator to playback the message and I even get an email delivered with the attached wav file. Just awesome.

Cons

Not sure if there's one. I've been using it for 3 months on a daily basis and I have no complaints. I had an issue early on with the initial setup and an error I was getting. Support was not the best and after trying to get help from them I ended up fixing it on my own with some research and trial and error.

Pros

It was great to have all of our buildings on the same system! We had previously been working with two systems.

Cons

It was easy to understand as a trainer, but the learning curve for some of the users was bigger. Many needed in-person training.

nothing but a great experience with ring central have advocated to other colleagues and most have changed form other incomparable systems and have never left.

Pros

I like that the app is real time as well as their desktop app version, very easy to transfer within and outside the phone system. sms messages are instant and pictures come over very quickly. can have multiple lines and can mask your line with the appropriate caller id. good options for multiple office environments, video conferencing is good and allows you to import files to store on cloud and fax out of the app.

Cons

i dont really have anything negative to say about this but if i had to come up with a con it would be the price.

It was not a good tool. I did not enjoy using it. It was easy to miss calls and drop customer calls that were trying to be transferred over.

Pros

I liked that I could make phone calls to my customers and receive calls from them as well. It's pretty straightforward.

Cons

I did not like how difficult it was to transfer phone calls from my my team somewhere else in the world to get them to me. Sometimes the call would drop and we would have to call the customer back.

Cons

They overcharged me for monthly account ($87 per month) . Only have one user. They lied that you can't have a caller ID display for my business in Canada, stating Canada doesn't support CNAM.

I used this software extensively with multiple lines throughout the day for approximately one year. The company I was working for at the time swapped to a different VOIP provider to try to save cost, but it actually ended up being a bad choice as RingCentral was a much better software.

Pros

This software is very reliable and I really liked the ability to seamlessly place calls over different mediums and text through the app or computer.

Cons

No complaints! RingCentral was very reliable.

Ring Central is a great service with all of the features you need for VOIP. Call recording and forwarding are generally the most used features amongst our clients.

Pros

It's pretty easy to set up. The team at Ring Central is knowledgeable about single-location offices. Call recording is a great feature, and it's also nice to be able to forward calls to a cell phone when needed.

Cons

For clients with multiple locations, Ring Central techs need time to figure things out. For example, one two-location client we had wanted to use the same phone number for each location. There is a phone tree when you call, asking which location to connect to. Unfortunately, it took about a week after going live for Ring Central to figure out how to route the call correctly. But, once done, the service is great.

### "Separate business calls from personal"

Great solution for remote employees who do not have a work phone. Saves companies money from having to supply a separate work phone. Strong audio quality. The app can be used on different devices.

Pros

Working from home, I do not have a desk phone that can be used for business purposes. Having RingCentral installed onto my personal smartphone, eliminates the need and cost for another phone for work. I'm able to just have one phone that can be used for business and personal calls. When a work-related call comes in, I immediately know from the ringtone or on the phone screen it will say the call is from the RingCentral app and who the caller is. You can also install RingCentral on your desktop so calls can be made from your computer.

Cons

Despite never logging out of RingCentral, sometimes the app will log me out on the phone. It's not a major issue to log back in but it's a concern if I were to miss a call. Luckily, you can setup notifications to be sent via email if there was a missed call.

### "It was an average solution"

Pros

Obviously it allowed our large team to all have extension numbers at the office and calls could be made from your computer or through a mobile device. In that respect it was very convenient.

Cons

I (and several of my coworkers) had issues with the iOS App. It would often freeze, not make a proper connection, and need to be closed then relaunched. There are some improvements that could be made there for sure.

Pros

We have used RingCentral for about 10 years...the product has done well. However, when it was time to cancel, the process is painful, laborious and down right ridiculous. The hoops and time I had to waste to cancel a $25/mo subscription was ludicrous. We had already ported our number to Zendesk and just wanted to stop the account....GEEZ!!!!!! Buyer beware.

Cons

Cancellation was horrific. the process to terminate an account should be revisited.

### "Like most of the other RC options it's lacking"

It has been an improvement from our older phone system as we can now hold persons responsible and more effectively give examples for coaching agents. Being able to go back and make sure worker A communicated with the customer about a new business quote or claim is great. I just want it to have a better interface. Also a voice to text preview on the recordings would really help alot in finding the right conversation.

Pros

Recordings work, they will also auto download to a linked cloud storage service and you can easily search recordings from the call log.

Cons

The actual process of finding a certain recording can be arduous. If the call had been transferred or if the caller made multiple calls that day sorting the information out will be a process. RC only supports a very few set of cloud storage services and setting up your own SFTP will require some investment in hardware and setup.
