### "RingCentral makes staying connected work"

RingCentral VoIP has left a lasting impression on me as it will definitely be my go to whenever working for another company that uses anything else or if I start a company on my own.

Pros

I used RingCentral on the job for answering support calls. The best part about RingCentral are the features it provides. I specifically enjoy the abilities to easily forward calls to my cell phone and to ring out if I'm using a mobile device to make the call. These services made days working from home ten times easier and looking at competitors they don't nearly have as many features.

Cons

RingCentral is expensive. From time to time you also get calls where the other recipient can't hear you, which I'm sure is common in most VoIP services. The cons are rather minimal and while I tend to mention price a lot in reviews I don't usually see it as that big of a factor outside of what your company can afford. Using some of the best services usually cost a bit more to the competition.

Overall it is very reliable and the fact I can fax something right from the computer is awesome and worth it

Pros

In our office we fax a lot of things so having this service has allowed multiple people send out fax all at once! super easy

Cons

Sometimes it is a little slow...Vendor have previously reported it taking 15 minutes for invoices to come in and incomplete faxes as well

The service has been fine but other services now days have more features for less money. Their contracts and such are ridiculous.

Pros

It's reliable voip service with a decent amount of features.

Cons

Their contracts are a joke. The taxes and fees are too. I overpay. I told them with 6 months left on my contract I didn't want to renew and wanted it to go month to month. about 8 months later I call to cancel (cant do anything online, every support option about billing they make you call your monthly rotating account manager) and was told my contract renewed. Cost to break contract? 100% of remaining contract.

The price was a bit much for a small team, we ended up not using it for the long run, but the free trial was enough to see that this is a top-notch solution. No wonder they are one of the biggest.

Pros

A very compact user interface, easy to use and no bugs, seamless CRM integration

Cons

Didn't have direct integration with Pipedrive CRM, so we needed to use API.

We moved from hardware to softphones and while some were skeptic, it was an overall success. The flexibility of how each number can be configured really keeps everyone happy and offers a solution to individual needs.

Pros

I loved the fact that it is easy to administer for the main admin, the team managers, and the end-users. They all have some level of control of how your phone works. Changes can be implemented in no time, such as adding users, replacing flows, redirecting numbers, etc.

Cons

Their transcripts of voicemails were not very useful, as they contain a number of errors. It is just easier to listen to the recording.

i love it! I use it all the time to connect with vendors when I have issues with a research application. it allows me to do a virtual meeting so that they can see exactly what issues I have. They are also able to control my screen and troubleshoot the issues.

Pros

i love how easy it is to connect and use. i usually use ring central to connect with vendors who are troubleshooting an issue that I have. it allows for easy communication no matter where they are located!

Cons

nothing, it is absolutely great and convenient.

It's a convenient solution for remote employees and the quality of the connection is impecable.

Pros

RingCentral is very easy to use and it's almost an industry standard for VoiP. It integrates with most of the CRMs.

Cons

The integration with some CRMs is overall good however there are some CRMs which it's useless, especially with Copper. I would like to have better and more user-friendly per-user stats.

Easy and affordable. Download the app and link it to your calendar

Less compatible. Often caused problems to conference in new people who are not already part of the ecosystem

Pros

This is easy to use desktop, mobile app, and web extensions. It makes wireless calling easy and the ability to text and answer calls via mobile when you're not in the office all day.

Cons

Every time we need a new number/phone line, it is always a very long, exhausting time on the phone with customer service to set up the new line.

Pros

RingCentral is a great tool for VOIP giving you your own designated office number with voicemail and fax features. The quality of the call is good it’s as If you are just calling within your customer’s country even if I am in the Philippines. The subscription includes Ring Central meetings and Glip which is beneficial to my other tasks since I provide sales presentation and training to our clients. It has both web and desktop application. Missed calls and number of calls are available in logs. You can easily assign phone numbers to other members of the team.

Cons

Ring Central can be costly compared to other VOIP software that are available however you can assure that it has better quality and more features.

Pros

This is a great option to replace land line. I like that voice mails are sent to my email. i like that i can fax from it . I like that calls can be forwarded to my cell phone, this way i don't have to give my clients my cell number. its easy to conference with several people and to transfer calls.

Cons

what i like least is that my current employer doesn't use this software yet. I am one of few remote workers and i have to use my cell.

Pros

I love RingCentral as it allows me, as a recruiter, to have a separate number for calls and texts when reaching out to applicants. Previously was using my personal cell number which led to my phone constantly ringing. RingCentral has privatized my ability to recruit effectively.

Cons

From time to time, RingCentral will have a delay with my texts sent and received.

Pros

I think the ability to log this program into other programs has been very easy to be able to track this information. I also like that we are able to utilize this information with faxes, texts, voicemails, and other information. It has been incredibly easy to use this program.

Cons

I have found that leaving my computer turned off of a night that my RingCentral information gets logged out too. I have also found that there is confusion of which number I am calling clients with.

None a lot of frustrating painful days with this program.

Pros

I like that it is an online phone and plugs right into my computer. I also like that I have my own phone number. Another plus is I can get messages from anywhere.

Cons

Ok for the bad...customer service is horrible. The call center is in the Philippines and I've spoken with at least 10 agents who can understand English to a point, frustrating plus I am on the phone for at least an hour or more. Wast of time. Also, faxing...is in the computer and is basically like an email. Takes forever I have to scan the image and save to my computer then open the app find the file attach it and fax it...traditional fax is much easier. Also, the system goes down a lot...I'll try to log on and it cannot find the site...or the support tab doesn't work and of course no one at Ting Central knows anything about it. super painful.

Overall, I find it very easy to use with great features including call recording. I have been using Ring Central for many years now and have enjoyed watching the company grow and providing more and more great functionality.

Pros

What I like most about Ring Central is that you don't need hardware to use the system.

Cons

The only con I used to have was with their softphone cutting off phone calls on my cell phone, but that has been resolved now by having it ring my cell I can answer calls without using the software and worrying my call will be cut off.

We have been using RingCentral for a couple of years now. It allows us to communicate via phone calls or texts with out teammates. I love the fact that they have an app and I can use it from anywhere.

We ended up having to get rid of it and transition the staff to traditional business cell phones for better reliability.

Pros

That it was an app that enabled the staff to have their work call accessible to them.

Cons

The app was almost always not functioning as intended. Calls were being dropped, not even connected or would go straight to voicemail.

We started with an outdated Avaya PBX that was difficult to manage. We moved for a short time to a small, local provider, but wanted a greater feature-set. RingCentral ticked all the boxes.

Pros

Easy onboarding, great service, easy to use administrative controls. Best mobile app of any VOIP service.

Cons

Outsourced support was occasionally problematic, but we only needed support for those rare, wild requests from users who had unrealistic expectations of how phones work.

Can make calls from anywhere, and still appears as though I'm in the office.

Pros

There is never any down time or connectivity issues. Theres not a lot of steps, very easy to use and no lag.

Cons

The price is a draw back, but its better than Jive. It does feel a tad overwhelming at first, because of all the option and features available.

I like that this does very well the basics of phone interactions--answer, hold, available, unavailable, transfer.

Cons

We had a difficult time integrating Ring Central with our system. Whether or not that was our issue, it was a pain.
