\- Ease of use after everything is already set up and you know how to find the recordings.

Pros

\- Able to download the call recordings - Able to see calls for the past 60 days - Shows Caller ID for the people who called the number

Cons

\- Unable to download the voice messages along with the call recordings - You have to know to choose "Extension" and not "Admin Portal" in order to find the voice messages - Sometimes the calls don't get transferred over to the number at the office, so there can be many missed calls at one point

What I love about this phone system is you can have customers text message you! I’ve never had that with any phone company.

Don’t hate anything about it. The company is easy to work with.

Pros

We make frequent use of the RingCentral desktop softphone applet in office. The applet works pretty well! This applet is probably the sole reason I like RingCentral as much as I do. Its easy to navigate, dial phone numbers, set yourself away, and transferring is a breeze.

Cons

To name a few: -Round Robin is really the only scalable phone support option. You can sorta make multiple phones ring at the same time, but only in small groups. Essentially, you cannot set up a "ring everyone at the same time" style of phone. I suppose this isn't a big deal for some, but its definitely a downer for us. -The actual website. Navigating and dealing with phone settings and administration related tasks is not easy. Unless you read the knowledge center or know how to do it already, it takes a LOT of clicking around to familiarize yourself with where things are or what certain features are or even what those features may be called. -Not every option is available to change or toggle on the desktop softphone applet, meaning unless you know exactly what needs to be set up and how, it can take a while of clicking and navigating menus until you understand where options live and how to use them.

The migrate process was not clear when I migrated my US number to RingCentral

Pros

RingCentral has by far the easiest setup compared to others that we've used. Communications were in the cloud, in no time! Another plus, due its compatibility with other platforms - it allows for greater flexibility than the alternatives.

Cons

I can't think of any downside to having RingCentral. Due to the swift deployment and many features, it's hard to be disappointed with choosing them for your VOIP solution.

Pros

I love the fact that you can completely separate your work life from your private one on the same device.

Cons

There have been some great updates but I wish the text messages could be better filtered and I wish the application could be more customizable.

I personally don't use it for all my calls due to not having my line setup properly and lack of good internet, and not wanting every call recorded. However all my employees are required to use it, and it works well for them.

Pros

Admin has many options to ensure it's working smoothly. Record all calls, keeps track of them easily. Works well on Mac and iPhone. Very easy to add more lines. It is a very comprehensive ViOP service.

Cons

If you don't have a great internet connection, you'll have trouble with VoIP. Ensure you have someone well versed in IT to make sure it works properly. Can't delete extra lines you sign up for. Hardwire phones and computers when possible to ensure best connection.

good experience - not 100% reliable but most of the time it works great.

Pros

VOIP has come a long way in the past decade and we use RingCentral for everything. I love being able to easily book a teleconference when I'm booking a meeting through Outlook, and have it automatically reschedule as I make changes. Also the ability to use one phone number for voice, text, and fax at the office and on mobile.

Cons

The messaging tool, Glip, is not as user-friendly as competitors (e.g. Skype, Messenger). Also every time I open a meeting it launches a new browser tab instead of just opening the app. Sometimes it takes a while to connect, or there is an echo/delay.

Overall, we have had a wonderful experience with RingCentral, our number and system were set up in minutes and we easily added employees as we have grown.

Pros

RingCentral's business communications platform integrates with other productivity-enhancing apps to create the ultimate business communications platform. Works with G Suite, Office 365, and many industry-leading CRMs.

Cons

Contact management could definitely use some improvement, especially between desktop and mobile apps.

Pros

Fairly inexpensive tool and easy to get ahold of customer service and make any changes. If you're just starting out as a business I would recommend starting with Ringcentral before moving to the big guys.

Cons

When you do get customer service, they aren't able to help you without asking a million silly questions. They end up helping you but it's just such a process.

It a convenient way to look get your work calls on the road and not just by being in the office. Faxes too. And it is HIPAA compliant if you need that.

Pros

I love that the software works by sending calls to my cell where ever I am. Also faxes come to my computer instead of having to print them. Plus I can fax right from my computer, so no printing! Can call from your work phone number on your cell phone so it looks like a call is coming from an office. Love it!

Cons

I do miss calls from time to time. i am not sure why.

Pros

RingCentral's mobile and desktop apps are some of the best I've seen. Reliability of the service has been excellent with only one downtime incident that I can think of over the last year. Reporting features are great, and call routing features are flexible and powerful. Pricing is also good - we saved a significant amount of money by switching to RingCentral from our previous provider. One other thing that we like about RingCentral is their API, though we have yet to use it.

Cons

The management interface is outdated, clumsy, and hard to navigate. Some seemingly simple tasks can be hard to accomplish (for example, changing the user assigned to a physical device). We've run across several areas where functionality seems to be artificially limited for no good reason. For example, we can't have more than 10 users in a queue if simultaneous ringing is enabled. Another example, you can't remove users without contacting support and/or your account manager. Support, when you need it, is rather poor. The support reps are not knowledgeable and jump to canned responses without taking time to actually understand your question. We've also had trouble even getting in touch with our account manager.

Especially during COVID, I have using the RingCentral Office daily. It works well; it just needs a few tweaks on their apps.

Pros

It has all the features you would expect in a VOIP phone, and as a bonus, you have their meeting service that works just like Go to Meeting or Zoom.

Cons

Their PC app needs some work; I mean, I get that they want all the features to be all in one place, but I mostly want to have a softphone app to place my calls and receive calls; I find the app very convoluted and not intuitive.

Cons

As of now, you can't block short code numbers. It is very annoying but I have been told they are working on it.

Pros

Yes, there are people who still want to send and receive faxes. Rather than tie up a phone line, use Ring Central's fax service. It makes sending a fax quick and perfectly painless. The confirmation emails are useful. Ringcentral is also a great value. Multiple users in the office are able to share the service.

Cons

Really nothing to dislike.. .. once in a while it does seem like the recipient's fax machine recognizes the fax as a junk fax and blocks it, but this is rare.

Pros

As long as you can locate them, this software does have a lot of features. Once you finally get the settings the way you want and the right apps downloaded, the software does function well (there's a light at the end of the tunnel, folks).

Cons

I have been extremely dissatisfied with my whole experience with RingCentral. We were using the full system - VOIP, Meetings, etc. and every time I go to change a setting, it's either placed somewhere unusual, there's a secondary setting you ALSO have to click if you want it to work properly, or there are just SO many apps that even an intelligent person would have trouble figuring out which was the app they needed. When I've reached out to support, I got the answer about 50% of the time.

Overall, RingCentral does exactly what we need it to do for our business.

Pros

Our business has over 50 offices and each office has multiple phone numbers. RingCentral allows us to have a database of all of our phone numbers, and also gives us access to features such as voicemail and call forwarding.

Cons

We have noticed that occasionally there is a delay in the ringing, we believe from it transferring lines.
