Overall experience has been good. Very few technical issues with the actual software. Love how easy setup and use is.

Pros

Ease of setup, easy integration into our CRM, no-frills with fairly consistent performance. Lots of features to customize call handling, notifications, etc.

Cons

Would like for analytics to provide information in real-time instead of the 24 hour delay. Outside of RingCentral's control, but just the issues that come with relying on an internet connection for VOIP service.

I have been very happy with the service, I love the app version so if I have to step out of the office I can still take calls.

Pros

I like how streamlined the service is. The app works perfectly, we have used other services and we had trouble with the app and we have never had a problem using the desktop or app versions.

Cons

I feel that changing voicemail is a little complicated but once you get the hang of it, it is easier. There are many different options which are great because you have a regular voicemail and after hours.

During training freshers for the RPO process, RingCentral helps me a lot to play sample calls for the trainees. I am loving this product.

Pros

I just love the clarity of the recorded audio and the date/time - wise access to the recorded audio s amazing. Helps me in barging calls during training and quality sessions.

Cons

Additional money to be paid for the recording feature A bit expensive than the new competitors.

My experience with Ring Central has been very good. They have dedicated customer support that will solve your problem every time.

Pros

I can answer phones anywhere and it looks like I am in the office. I can see all the calls that came in and also see historical reports. I can route calls with special rules based on time, the number called, the number calling and more

Cons

The interface is not as intuitive as it should be

Pros

This software is very user friendly. Easy to communicate with our clients on both desktop and phone apps.

Cons

I did not like that I had to download different apps for different uses (I.e. Ring Central meetings needed for video conferencing). I also don't like that I cannot easily mark unread a text on the RingCentral Phone desktop app. The Ringcentral Classic app allows that but the interface is much more difficult to understand and harder on the eyes

Pros

We’ve been among early adopters of Ringcentral, migrating from a PBX solution years ago, seeing all the improvements the service went through all these years. The fairly recent addition of Meetings was welcomed by our team, making is drop an alternative solution we’ve been paying for separately.

Cons

Cumbersome support (you always have to go through your account manager to make simple changes to your account such as adding lines or making user changes.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use and the great features. It's easy to add users, transfer calls and check voicemail. I also love the caller ID feature and being able to receive calls as if I'm in the office.

Cons

The only issue I've had so far is sometimes I experience the software running slow. This can be frustrating during a very busy time when making phone calls is crucial.

Not very great, from a business standpoint. They do not offer enough for the price point they charge.

Pros

It was a relatively easy implementation process, ease of use is fairly high and the UI is easy enough to navigate

Cons

For the uses of a "call-center," there is not enough actionable data to do coach agents. When prompted to see if they had any intent on making more data available or a way to grab that data, in any format, I was told that it was not available and that I could "add it to their recommendations". Their customer service is an absolute joke. I've been on chat and the phone with them more than any other system I've implemented or used. Their tier 1 and tier 2 help desk do not have enough knowledge to support their customers.

Pros

RingCentral is always improving and growing. I've been with them since 2010 and, in that time, they've released more new functionality, improvements, etc than any other piece of software I use, combined. They are constantly rolling out new stuff, practically every month. The service itself is very reliable and rarely has issues.

Cons

Phone support can be difficult and time consuming. Luckily, their satisfaction forum is well staffed and responsive.

Pros

I love that my voicemails are sent directly to my email. This makes listening and looking back on them super easy! I also like that it keeps track of missed calls, calls received, and calls made for quite a while back. I have been very satisfied so far!

Cons

When I get a voicemail it will say that it has gone to my extension when I know that my colleague and I both got the call (so it would be the support extension, not personal). This can make it confusing when trying to distinguish who the call was supposed to go to. It's not a huge deal, just thought it was a little inaccurate in that aspect.

As someone working in social work it is important to have a separate number to call clients from but I prefer not to carry around a second phone so Ring Central allows me to call from my cell phone but it appears as muring centra bumber

Pros

I like that I can store contacts specific to my job in RingCentral without having to save them in my phone.

Cons

There are several times the connection isn’t good and my call will either not go through or go through and the person I’m calling can’t understand me.

Easy to use, variety of functions besides phone calls, multiple features for setting up phone for a business.

Pros

Easy to use and set up phone system with high quality sound. The online site for the back end has a variety of features you can set up and it is very easy to navigate and use. They also have a windows desktop app to use even more features/functions the physical phone itself cannot.

Cons

We have had one phone that does not work for some reason must be defective. One occasion we had an issue with none of the phones working despite having a proper internet connection and support could not figure out the issue, it has seem to resolve itself since then.

We liked the call quality and the price is very competitive. It allowed us to transfer workers to work remotely very easily.

Pros

The call quality is very good and support is fast in responding. This is very important as we can not afford to have phone lines down for much time.

Cons

The software to track call detail record and configuration is a bit hard to grasp in the first few days, but it gets much easier after a week or so.

Really liked the ease of use for messaging internally - groups were a huge plus to this service! Outbound call tracking + video was very clear!

Cons

The mobile app was sometimes challenging to stay up to date. Think ahead of the competitors like Slack and this will be a promising platform

RingCentral manages your audio and visual calls, texts, and faxes all in one place, and it's handy for that.

Cons

Asking for mouse control on a screenshare is difficult, which was a feature we used a lot. Their online user guide is difficult to use.

RingCentral encompasses what is needed for me and my team to communicate effectively with our partners. It provides reliable and clear VoIP calls, a texting platform, and conference rooms per user.

Cons

The texting can be slightly confusing at times, as they have their service, Glip, that is also a messaging service but not an actual texting platform. This is as much user issue as it is a product complaint - but it is still worth noting.

Customer service is horrible. We get a lot of robo calls with the phone numbers given to us by Ring Central but I guess we deal with that by using our cell phones also. The good thing is you can block the calls. I like their desktop function and being able to automatically forward calls during certain times. Other than that I wish we could just use our cellphones.

Pros

You don't have to use your own phone number. You can have calls forwarded to you.

Cons

So many dropped calls, a lot of robo calls, it is very expensive.

I use it for every demo call, always works. It is my go to when I have a customer to call.

Pros

Easy to use and very reliable. Always works, never had issues with it. It is the gold standard when it comes to VIOP. The connection is always solid and the sound is great.

Cons

It would be great if it had a texting features inside the messenger. The interface could be revamped and updated.

### "Good product, not as good service"

I helped implement RingCentral in my current position, it was not worth the money. We had way too many issues since the beginning with the installation and their customer support team was not responsive AT ALL. They made us wait in line for hours to not even solve our issues at the end. The app by itself is great but to completely use all features you need more than one app and it gets confusing, not to say annoying and space consuming. I don't think is the best solution for virtual phones, they need to improve their service.

Pros

\- Easy to use - Integrated messaging - You can attach docs and images to text messages

Cons

\- Their customer support team is not up to the task - Too many apps for different things instead of one central place - Puerto Rico numbers were considered "International Calls"
