### "Easy Fax Solution"

This is a simple solution for occasional faxing. It is very inexpensive and easy to set up.

Pros

Ease of use and annual billing makes it a no maintenance software solution.

Cons

Initially, it was difficult to navigate my login account, but that was quickly overcome. I rarely have to go online as the product works without any problems.

I did like being able to give my clients a direct number rather than an extension, but that didn't outweigh the issues I had with the product.

Pros

I do like the voicemail feature and how it is sent to my email. It makes it easy to keep track of missed calls.

Cons

It drops connection far too often. It frequently will say it's "reconnecting". It also rarely gives me the ability to transfer calls to my coworkers when necessary. Overall, it's just inconsistent.

Pros

I love being able to take my office phone calls on my cell while away from the office. The fax feature from my phone is invaluable, and I love the GLIP app which allows me to have "facetime" meetings with my team.

Cons

There are times when the GLIP app can be unstable. We have five schools right now and we only have 3 of them using RingCentral right now. The biggest con is that it takes forever for our current phone company (BIRCH) to release our numbers!

Pros

What I like the most about this software is that enables me to make international calls in a very affordable price and keep track of my communications in a very organized way while also integrating with other platforms smoothly, like Salesforce.

Cons

That it can sometimes glitch and crash with some servers.

Pros

You can send faxes directly from your email, you will receive faxes directly to your email as well. Digital fax is a way to go!

Cons

It's a little pricey, even with an annual prepaid option. But definitely worth investing, you'll save on the paper that you won't be using anymore to send and receive faxes.

I have had a pleasant experience with using this program and I would recommend it to others.

Pros

I like that we can host our weekly or daily meetings thru the Rong Central App by just entering our meeting ID then it enters you into a private chat room where you can chat via text or as a group over the phone. You have the option to connect your cameras and be able to see one another and you can share your screen with everyone in the group so they can see any demos or slides of information. I like that you can use either phone or computer audio and you can mute yourself if you dont want to speak.

Cons

The only complaint I have is that if you dont start your meeting within 5 minutes of logging into the meeting then the system kicks you out and you gave to call back in and start over.

I have been using ring central since I started at Kentucky trailer and I like it overall

Pros

ringcentral is pretty good. I like that you can easily call and text anyone right from your computer. you can also show presentations and present what is on your computer to people in other states which is great. you can also use it to video chat

Cons

sometimes my ring central stops working and I have to call IT to fix it, but they usually get it back up and running quickly which is good

Last year at this time I was searching for a new telephony company because our office was done with RingCentral. A year later things have really turned around! The service is good and the features are great - I especially like how our employees, wherever they are in the world, can retrieve their messages through the website! As the office admin I feel in control of the system and able to do great things with it.

Pros

The website interface! So easy!

Cons

The VoIP connection is sometimes very bad. We do use a lot of bandwidth in our office though.

Ease of use could be improved but I have had great quality calls using this software. I have it on my cell phone and desktop so I can utilize it wherever I am. I use it for calls, voicemails, routing, and text messages.

Pros

I love that you can take/make calls from a cell phone but look as though you are working from a business line.

Cons

It takes some time to get the hang of how to properly adjust settings for call routing, voicemail greetings, time schedules, etc.

Once it is set up, it can handle all the telephone needs of a SMB. Rich feature set - most of what you could possibly want is available.

Cons

Complicated and sometimes inflexible set up: call ease and quality is dependent on settings. Very occasionally buggy.

This worked out great for me because I'm usually not in the office (I'm a one-man show), and this allows me to record conversations in case I miss any details while multi-tasking. It adds a professional element to any small business especially when you purchase a custom greeting recorded by a voice talent.

Pros

Professional custom greetings for all incoming calls, call recording/monitoring, mobile and computer apps for a seamless experience.

Cons

A little pricey for what it does, and every now and then you'll experience poor call quality. More a la carte options needed because it gets pricey when choosing higher tiers that bring unnecessary features for small businesses.

Not great. I didn't have any interaction with them until I decided to cancel.

Pros

Seemed to have a lot of features, but we never fully integrated in the first 12 months.

Cons

Never fully integrated across sales team. They make you call in to cancel, which bothers me. They are a technology company offering a tech solution, but they put in awfull steps that made me go from indifferent to their service, to actively disliking it.

We have benefited from having after-hours calls/texts e-mailed to us, which we can choose to follow up during after office hours if we choose.

Pros

That we can see any voicemails and text messages getting sent to our office phone number, and that Ring Central forwards voicemails and texts to our email addresses.

Cons

Not much to dislike here - the only thing I can think of is signing in to begin your day - most days I don't need to sign in, I'm already ready to begin making calls.

### "Do not waste your time with Ring Central"

If you only want to hear the sound of your prospect hanging up the phone then RingCentral is your choice. But wait, it gets better. Call their technical support team and watch your blood pressure explode. First attempt to make it works requires more money per month, Paid it but nothing worked. Call back only to be told to pay more money to make it work. Paid it, still will not work. Third call they tell me that I did not need to spend all the extra money and that it is fixed. As soon as they hang up and transfer to get a refund land which takes another 30 minutes, the system stops working. Call back to be told that I need toupgrade to a higher plan. This company is really bad and a total waste of money and valuable time.

Pros

Looks cool on the cloud. Does not work on your desktop!

Cons

If you buy a phone system, it should allow you to call out. Not Ring Central! Only works while on the phone to tech support for 3 hours. And then when a client or customer calls you and all you hear is them slamming the phone down after being transferred and never connected. Horrible phone system in my opinion.

We use it and the experience is good. The automatic call recording should have a few more options though when setting it up.

Pros

I do like the ability to make automatic calls. It has helped in our support aspects and making sure that we are documenting customer conversations.

Cons

The ability to set up automatic call recording is limited. The recording is long and not very loud and takes up time when you are setting up a voicemail.

The backend of the website used by RingCentral can be a bit troublesome to finagle in trying to adjust settings for employees.

This software allows me to get my calls on my mobile phone without having to give out my private number. It's nice that I can shut it off and turn it on anytime I want. I highly recommend this service.

Pros

Very easy to learn and use. The software is intuitive and easy to learn.

Cons

So far I have not found anything to complain about.

Pros

RingCentral allows us to configure a digital phone service for the company by using our mobile phones with a central phone number and individual extensions.

Cons

There is a notable delay when speaking with clients that call in through our central phone number, though this may be a limitation of all web based phone services.

I did not have a real benefit from using this phone system and I would recommend using others. It was not for me.

Pros

You can port your existing number or create a vanity number or you can have a new number issued to you. You can customize greetings and voicemail greeting

Cons

Was too expensive and I would miss lots of calls because of this software. Customer service will make excuses.

Pros

Ring Central, doesn't tend to have too many issues with calls dropping, downtime, or poor quality. The dialer allows you to make calls out quickly and works quite well when connecting to other applications.

Cons

Sometimes there is an occasional delay between an application your using to dial numbers and Ring Central making the call.

Capabilities are massive. The package is very powerful as it includes video conferencing, messaging, phone, chat and more. It grows with you if you are a growing company.

Cons

So complex and complicated because of the numerous features it offers. For smaller companies, you often do not have the manpower for someone to be a pro at the system as the time required to become an expert is huge.
