RingCentral has helped our teen mental health non-profit run and operate our daily helpline post-pandemic. This software has helped our phone lines stay open for troubled teens nationwide. Would definitely recommend!

Pros

\- Extensions and mobile phone abilities - Very reliable and great support - Training videos and live meetings

Cons

\- Sometimes slow tech support - Price is a bit high for what you get - Admin side could be more easy to navigate

Pros

It works... and doesn't rely on being anywhere or having any infrastructure to continue to work.

Cons

email to FAX only faxes the attachment... and doesn't also fax the email body.

Cons

If internet goes out then you are without phones at the office.

Cons

Not the easiest to use. If you miss a voicemail and don't have the app you must log in on their website to check voicemail messages.

Pros

Hard and Softphone capable - if you have people like me that travel around, having an easy to use softphone is mandatory Great Android app - app works just like you'd hope for it to Simple call recordings Easy conference

Cons

Backend dashboard is a little clunky but it's fine once you figure it out I really wish they added the ability to function as a call tracking system as well

Definitely worth it.

Pros

One can transfer calls to another employee even though the other employee may be on the other side of the country. The flow of the calls coming in can be changed as needed. It is affordable and convenient software that allows us to answer calls from our computers and mobile devices, set up an answering service and directory, and communicate easily within our business

Cons

When a user transfers a call, the transferring extension shows up instead of the original Caller ID. Some features cannot be locked down from the user. The desktop version can at times be slow.

Cons

stability can be hit or miss at times depending on ones internet connection. Would love easier ways to do call routing other then logging into your account portal

It was okay to start but with technology changing and a tough contract they require, be careful when setting up to understand the overall price involved with the functions of the platform.

Pros

Ringcentral has been around awhile and is a VOIP phone and voice system for small to large businesses with lots of features available.

Cons

The platform is not as user friendly as other VOIP programs and this one usually requires their phone hardware to work if looking for a physical phone at a desk or counter for use.

This is a handy product! The smartphone app adds a unique and useful tool too. We are a small business and the RingCentral system really help us.

Pros

Good performance and optional tools selection. Professional-style tools for conference calls.

Cons

The tools for syncing with Google contacts doesn't work properly. Also, the desktop app takes a long time to update the call log. If you miss a call, you have to look at the smartphone app to see who called.

It's a solid platform, but the UI needs some work. I believe the platform has excellent potential.

Pros

RingCentral has been around for a while. They have somewhat perfected the VoIP system, and added multiple things on top of it

Cons

The settings are complicated, slightly confusing, and cumbersome. The amount & location of settings for a full team gets out of hand quickly.

We use Ring Central for our 877 phone number for our office and its so easy. If I need to transfer the calls over the weekend to a technician I can. Or when we miss a call I get an email with the voicemail.

Cons

I would like it alert me when the incoming calls come from ring central.

Pros

We switched to this platform from another popular one because it has better VoIP stability. It's particularly good for video conferencing and has good options for displaying multiple participants. I like how each participants has a static meeting number available. Also like the ability to enable meetings to begin before the meeting owner arrives.

Cons

Relative to other VoIP solutions, this user interface is a bit more confusing to use, not as intuitive. Particularly confusing settings on mac, like 'minimal view' which I'm not sure who would ever use. Should be able to minimize and controls should not be visible when screen sharing enabled. If there are many video screens on, it can be more prone to crashing on mac.

Pros

RingCentral's cloud-based phone system is excellent for small businesses who need to be flexible. You can customize all of your settings through their online system from anywhere, and their apps make it easy to place and receive calls on your smartphone while using your business number. Text message functionality is nice, as well as being able to set special hours for vacations or holidays where the phone system plays a customized message during that specific time. Pretty much everything about the system is customizable and it integrates with many other software solutions to streamline workflows.

Cons

We did have some minor trouble with calls breaking up when we first set up the system, but RingCentral's tech support was able to resolve the issues.

Overall Ringcentral has been a great addition to my work place and I recommend it

Pros

The ease of use between being able to have the app on my phone or desktop. I am able to seamlessly answer calls through my mobile device even if I am out of the office.

Cons

glitches and sometimes hiccups occur when answering some calls. Also if not on a strong Wi-fi connection the app is pretty much useless.

Pros

Love the Voicemail to Text function, and how easy it is to return a call. Mobile app is also great.

Cons

Need to reboot the software somewhat frequently or it can act up. Also wish that when the mobile app and desktop app is open simultaneously, when a call comes in it should ring on both (currently just rings on the mobile app)

My company started using RingCentral Office about a year ago and it has completely changed communication within our organization and with our customers! The system is completely online, so no need for a bulky office phone on everyone's desk. There are so many customizable features available through RingCentral that would not be as easily possible through a standard phone system. We are able to have separate lines and voicemail boxes for each person and we are able to alter the order of who receives a general line call first. Working remotely has never been easier with RingCentral! I am able to log in to my phone line on the mobile RingCentral app and take calls, send messages and make phone calls just as if I were at my desk! This feature has truly been life changing in our office!

Pros

ease of use, customizable features, easy to work remotely, mobile app

Cons

Because the system is all online, the system has been down a few times in the past year and a half. It was only down for about 30 minutes, but still frustrating! We were unable to contact customer support at that time either.

The support staff is very responsive, both by chat and phone call. They go above and beyond to help with any issue.

Cons

It is very confusing to add a new line. Sometimes it seems like certain lines I purchased were not available for use. Very confusing sometimes.

I love the fact that when I make a call and the voicemail is full, I just send out a text, and that usually solves the communication problem. Overall experience has been great and I look forward to future updates.

Pros

Works great for my morning meetings. On PC it's obviously better, can properly integrate the settings you want. The phone is great for on the go and voice quality is fantastic. It's easy to understand, to use and has a very friendly UI.

Cons

This app is vital for our business, and we daily change who is on the call queue. The latest update requires us to re-enter the "after hours" forwarding number every time we make a change.That's something I guess needs to be improved

I have used other softwares in the past that I prefer over RingCentral, but our IT team will not let us switch. Good, not great.

Pros

RingCentral integrates well into our Salesforce instance, which makes it easy for our representatives to dial from.

Cons

The reporting is what I dislike most about RingCentral, it is very limited and often delayed or incorrect.

### "Ring Central Makes Office Calls a Breeze"

Pros

I love the flexibility with RingCentral. I downloaded the RingCentral app on my iPhone and set it up to send my calls both to my office phone and cell phone. This helps a lot for people who travel for work or are in/out of the office. RingCentral translates out voicemails in an email sent to you, so you can quickly read who they are and what they want. I also personally like that I can use my headphones on my iPhone while I'm in a phone conference so my hands are free to use my computer (if needed) during the call.

Cons

The only negative thing I can say is sometimes the voicemail text translations are a bit off, but that's expected with any voice translation service.

Great Customer Support. Quite a few features to choose from. Many options for different size companies.

Cons

It was not so easy to setup or learn to use. It did require extensive assistance from customer support.
