Team communication is flawless. VOIP works great with a vast variety of area codes to choose from, and it has allowed international calls. I can receive and send text messages and fax as well. Video calls work great and they're very simple for someone outside the platform to set up.

Pros

it's packed full of features like a proper VOIP, video meeting, calendar integration...etc. I can have conversations with clients and track everything in one platform.

Cons

It's UI isn't the prettiest. It's not an eyesore by any means but it can be improved. Notifications don't seem to pop-up on my phone in real time, they tend to take 15 minutes to show up.

### "Most Reliable HIPAA-Compliant Communication"

I'm overall satisfied as it does the work that I specifically need. I love that I am able to communicate well with my clients without having any hassles.

Pros

I love the user-friendly environment and secured feature of RingCentral. It is easy to use yet you will have peace of mind using it as it provides Transport Layer Security and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol encryption between all endpoints to prevent interception of communications. It is also convenient as it is something that you can download using phone you won't miss important calls for your clinic or office.

Cons

Just on the theme feature, it would be better if they could have more options for theme colors or design so it can be changed to a girly theme. Just to boost the mood while working.

### "Expensive but Useful"

I use RingCentral in our business every day. I can easily determine who has called during the past 60 days, and how often. I can also evaluate how many calls I'm missing, and I have the capability to quickly reference all of those calls that need to be returned. This software is a bit pricy, but if they could incorporate a better data function for customers it would be more than worth the cost.

Pros

RingCentral provides a valuable resource for companies with high call volumes. I like the fact that you can have multiple users and each user can be set up with their own Voice Messaging. The ability to create multiple greetings depending on if there is someone there to take the call, the time of day, if you are open or closed, or gone on vacation. I'm certain that RingCentral is more than most small businesses will ever use, but enough to take care of nearly every telephone need.

Cons

There is no way to maintain a useful database for your customers. Although there is a Contact feature, it's very basic. This Software would be a home-run if it had a useful database feature. For example, when a call comes in, it would be able to pull up a customers record on-screen that could be edited while speaking to the customer. It would also be useful to be able to import a CVS file to capture existing customers.

### "Ring Central user"

It was a huge transition for our agency going from a desk system to a cloud system. It was successful. I appreciate the convenience of being able to take calls from anywhere.

I have seen the beta version. I am not sure I am going to like it.

I like all the features that the app has like choosing your schedule to receive calls, is very easy to transfer the calls.

Cons

The app most of the time works very slow, and is not just in my computer because my colleagues has the same issue. I need to close it and open it back few times during the day

### "Highly responsive customer service "

RingCentral helped us to solve the use of old technology like physical faxes. It offered an affordable options for tele-conferences and it provides multiple options for customer service, when needed.

Pros

It is easy to use and administer. We use this sytem for agents that provide Service Management and other users in the company. We have a combination of soft and deskphones that meets all needs. The RingCentral App and the fax features are the favorites amongst users. It is HIPAA compliant and the customer service is stellar. We haven't experienced an outage.

Cons

Deskphones tend to have echo. For some reason, at the beggining we had a lot of issues with the audio (like dead air or choppy calls) but they were addressed promptly. Reporting capabilities are not as robust as other softwares out there.

### "Best Call recording software!"

Pros

One thing that's important before you purchase RC is that you should have a dependable internet connection. If you have an intermittent connection you should think twice before you purchase RC. Well what I love with RC is that it is easy to use and the quality of the calls is awesome. It will allow you to record inbound and outbound calls for quality purposes. We review and listen to calls every week to ensure the quality of service provided to our clients and to make sure that the call flow is being followed by the recruiters. We never had an issue with calls being not captured or corrupted, unlike other call recording software. It will allows you to send the recording as well, which is very important because there are times that our clients is requesting for it.

Cons

Here in the Philippines, we always have problems with internet connection, maybe one thing that RC could work on is to make its internet requirement go down a bit.

A+ any time I have had a problem customer service is amazing.

Pros

I love how easily I can use Ringcentral. Makes my one man operation sound like a very big professional business, yet when I am busy and do need added help I have the voicemail with extensions. I love how has an app for iPhones transfers my calls and I can be at the local coffee shop working away :)

Cons

Over the years the price has increased. But everything over the years has increased. I pay via a yearly plan and I was surprised when it did renew what the price was. I went back checked past invoices, looked at other online services and was like wow I'm getting the best deal.

### "Opinion about the voicemail option"

Generally the voicemail feature of this software is great, as I've noted. Our phones work well, there are some nice features for forwarding calls and receiving faxes. Again, I'm not an administrator, just an end user, so I don't know what the full capabilities are, but from what I've seen, it's very useful and easy to use.

Pros

I really only use the voicemail and fax options of this software, I like it a lot because it sends me an email with the incoming phone number and it sometimes give a transcript of the message. This way, even when I'm out of the office, I know how many phone calls I've missed and who they are from.

Cons

The transcripts are good, when they are completed. Recently (the past 8-10 months) I have not been getting transcripts, it always tells me the message could not be transcribed. I haven't asked anyone about this, so it may be something that could be easily solved, it just isn't all that important to me. Also, the faxes come in to only one person and then have to be distributed to the intended person. Not sure if that's an option that can be changed or not.

### "An Inconsistent Solution For VoIP"

RingCentral Office can either be a great ally or a catastrophe depending on how the software is working. From days where the program is shut down across the country to days when it seems like every call is coming through, one is never quite sure what they will encounter with the program.

Pros

When RingCentral works, it works great - in other words, if issues do not persist within the software it can be a great VOIP with excellent clarity and call quality.

Cons

Overall, RingCentral Office - VoIP is hit and miss at all times. Sometimes the program will crash in the middle of a call or while answering a call. Other times, the volume and clarity of a call will vary wildly, making every call a gamble.

### "Flexible phone services "

It's great because you can keep your personal and work numbers separate but only use one phone. Overall, I am a big fan of the product due to the ease and business contacts don't know

Pros

I love how easy the integration between your desk phone and mobile - you can easily use the phone on your desktop, mobile app or through your company.

Cons

The notifications are weird, sometimes my phone does not alert me to text messages or the phone will ring through on my desk and computer but not the mobile app. Also, I'm not sure this is a Ring Central issue but if I have an incoming call it doesn't work through my Bluetooth headphones but if I'm making an outbound call it does.

### "Ring Central turns my cellphone into my work phone without being intrusive!"

Pros

I love that I can use my cell phone as a work phone while being able to keep my personal number away from our users. Ring Central is an app you download and has access to the phone functions just like your normal phone app would. The call quality on ring central is even better at times than the quality on my phone app. The calls over WiFi have great quality. I also enjoy having it set up to have an institution number as well as my own "desk" number. I can call out using either number and not have to give out my desk number. The voicemails that are received will go straight to email and can be listened to from the email. Setting up in-office hours is a must and RC does a great job of handling that aspect.

Cons

At first, the set up was a little confusing, but after using knowledge base and information on how to not make my calls go only through the computer app, but then switch over to my phone app, it was running well.

### "When your product is good, you don't need to rope people in"

Really sub-par.

Pros

RingCentral sales people promise functionality that doesn't exist.

Cons

The workflow didn't work as promised. I asked the sales person to confirm they could do a particular flow and he promised me he could. As soon as implementation started, sales person disappeared. The tech tried to make it work but it's not exactly as promised (even though my old PBX system could do it) and the workaround he made was so complex that now I can't make any changes myself. And good luck getting support. They make it very hard to get ahold of anyone.

Pros

The ease of use and ability for our sales team to be able to answer calls that are meant for our team during business hours, and have a simple and organized location for all after-hours calls.

Cons

No specific cons at this time. Before, the app did not include HUD features which made it more difficult, but this has been addressed.

### "A little clunky but good overall especially for smaller businesses"

I don't think it quite makes the grade if you are considering this for enterprise software, but if you are a small business, it's definitely a good platform. It's simple, plain and easy to use. When software integrations are important (such as calls being synced directly to calendars and such, the platform is lacking, when compared to other platforms. Overall, smaller businesses without all the cross-platform integrations will find value, but larger companies aren't going to get the ROI they need out of this.

Pros

the platform is pretty easy to navigate, it's kept simple. The options are simple and straightforward, no excessive features to just get in the way of what you need. That's not to say it doesn't have additional options, but the ones they do have out of the box are sufficient and not overwhelming.

Cons

It seems they are constantly having issues that affect your own schedule, specifically being down often. Not just disconnecting from your in-progress calls, but down altogether. Also, they will try to charge you for every little feature they can, things like call forwarding should be OOB, not a premium feature.

It worked very well for what we needed: video conferencing, webinars, etc.

Pros

I enjoy how easy it is to start using the software, especially if you're already experienced with other video conferencing systems. It feels a bit outdated to me, and I do prefer the interface and functionality of competitors a bit more, but overall, RingCentral MVP is a solid pick.

Cons

It feels and looks a little outdated and I see some potential to improve the interface, functionality, customization, and options available.

### "RingCentral Office Review"

Since the pandemic hit and our users started working from home RingCentral Office has been a lifesaver. employees working from home can still have calls transferred to them from the receptionist and the users can still send and receive faxes just as if they were in the office. The videoconferencing system has also enabled us to continue to have meetings with everyone located in different places.

Pros

What I like best about this product is the fact that all of the communication services you need are included. Phone, fax, direct messaging, texting, videoconferencing and faxing. Its a one stop shop for all of your unified communication needs.

Cons

What I like least about the product is its dependance on a solid internet connection. If a user has shaky connectivity to the internet you are going to experience quality problems.

Reason for choosing RingEX

We chose RingCentral because it had all of the options we needed and they offered us a large billing credit to sign up with them. We also felt like they had better reviews than the other providers on sites like Capterra.

### "Difficult to troubleshoot "

Ring Central is a great way to call/ text clients, keeping business separate from a personal number. However, the system can be difficult to get set-up and requires that you have fast internet if you want to avoid using cell phone minutes to make calls.

Pros

The two things I really like about Ring Central is 1) the ability to use it either on their mobile app or 2) on the computer. I also like that I can have the calls run through my personal so I can answer work calls even when I am away from my computer. It also allows me to text client via a local number.

Cons

Ring Central can be very difficult to troubleshoot and I have had trouble setting up new staff members and getting the calls to correctly come through their cell phones versus straight to voicemail. Also, unless you have stellar internet, you'll need to run Ring Central via your cell phone minutes. When we first started using Ring Central we had a lot issues with us sounding very "robotic". We now almost exclusively use Ring Central via the app using our own personal minutes.
