Pros

The fact you can call, text, video, and fax all in one place is incredibly. RingCentral is so easy to use. I love that you can use to the APP literally anywhere.

It works pretty well. I have not used other professional business communications software.

Pros

Works across all my devices. Reliable calling/meeting/messaging/faxing service. I like that I can send and receive faxes from the app. I like voice to text message recording.

Cons

I think they've ironed it out. But for a long time There were 2-4 different apps for different things/legacy apps. And it took forever to figure out which one did what where. Very confusing. We also occasionally have issues with our phone system crashing. Also, call forwarding will not forward the callers number, it only forwards the employees number who is forwarding the call.

Pros

Very easy to use and customizeable. Anytime there is an issue of any kind their department can be reached quickly and takes care of the problem promptly.

Cons

There are a few features in the initial setup that have to be implemented the way you want, but after you learn the system it is user friendly.

Pros

I am from the philippines and as a Virtual assistant we need to call businesses at the United States. Ring central provides your own work phone number both web based and desktop tool that you can install in your Pc or laptop. With this tool,calling our leads was easy providing us better results and more sales. The quality is good and connection is stable. They number that appears to them would be a US number. Aside from their great voip, they have ring central meetings which i use when i do a sales presentation to my clients. Connection is good and they can see ny screen clearly without compromising thevoice quality. Recording the presentation is also a great feature which we save for upcoming trainings of new agents. Great customer suppport and client service is commendable.

Cons

The cost is much higher compared to other voips. Some features have additional cost. You can not choose only the voip to pay lower. Glip and ring central meetings are included in the

RingCentral was very beneficial to my business and my number was able to forward to my cell, my home phone and eventually to other staff phones lines simultaneously. I had a fax number included with my plan which was essential to my business at the time.

Pros

I had multiple phone extensions and was able to record a professionally recorded outbound message so that none of my customers knew that I didn't have legitimate office and was often working from my home or even from my car at times.

Cons

Initially when I created my account in 2007 it was a bit difficult to set up but I believe it is simpler now. The price has went up since I started.

### "Basic Phone System"

I like ring central and it's a great system but there could be simpler ways to turn off/route calls during non-working hours.

Pros

I like that there's an app to my phone and I can use it to make calls that uses my business line and not my personal phone.

Cons

I wish there was a simpler way to turn call forwarding off. I only have a cell phone number so even through I have the app, all calls are still forwarded to my cell phone so I am currently not able to stop calls from coming to my phone. Also, only one extension is allowed to receive the voicemails. We had to forward the emails to our support email in order for the team to all recieve the voicemails that were coming in. It would be nice if there were a community mail box so everyone could check messages.

### "Great Phone System for Small Teams"

We have had a great experience with RingCentral and will be clients for a long time to come. We are looking forward to updates with their functionality but for now the program performs at a high level and gets the job done that we need it to.

Pros

We love RingCentral's ability to track and record calls so that we can go back and use each call as a potential coaching opportunity for our team. RingCentral also makes it easy to reach out to clients in an efficient and effective way through both text and calling. We also love the ability to use "Local Touch" numbers through RingCentral to be able to connect to our potential clients more efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

Cons

We wish that RingCentral had more functionality with our main CRM system, Zoho. There is a click-to-dial function connected through Zoho but this is very glitchy and has issues almost daily. This is the one thing that we really don't like about our RingCentral system.

Pros

Enables us to setup teachers with Soft phones on their mobile phones, enabling them to call parents using the school's main phone number as their call-back number.

Cons

The phone app is slow to respond at times, ringing 5 or 6 seconds after the desk phone (all settings are to ring all simultaneously)There are at least 2 or 3 different sets of instructions to setting up a hot desk phone, none of them helped, so the documentation on their website desperately needs a review

### "Ring Central for Office - Best Business Telephone System Money Can Buy"

Pros

Ideal business internet phone system on the market. Everything in one place - telephone, fax, text, zoom meetings, quick chat, you name it - Ring Central has it. The Ring Central App has benefited our business immensely. We can have sales associates on the road and still transfer calls from the office to them; the customer will not know whether they are in the office or on the road. Quick chat function (Glip) makes it easy to set up teams via chat (e.g. Sales Team) to push up daily targets, communicate fast and easily to a specific person, etc. People often respond to a message quicker than a phone call! The capabilities of Ring Central are endless. I would recommend anyone looking at a telephone system to check out Ring Central in detail.

Cons

Being an internet phone system, we have found the connectivity has been an issue. Some days the phone line will be extremely crackly, even though we have the best internet system available in our location.

### "Ring Central - New VoIP Solution"

We came from a very archaic platform, that did not give us any ability to report/integrate/etc. With Ring Central, we now have the insight and ease of use. Our users can now use either a softphone or hard-wired desk phone. Click to call has been a game-changer for all of our users.

Pros

The ease of use with this platform far outperforms the competitors such as Vonage/8x8/etc. With over 500 employees we always look for platforms that are easy to use, concise, and simply. Ring Central check all of those boxes immediately. Another great feature is the integration with Salesforce. We utilize Salesforce heavily and the ease of use RingCentral provides with SF is wonderful. Highly Recommend the product if you are looking for a new VoIP provider.

Cons

We are only 6 months into our rollout and there is not much were are finding at fault. If we could change one thing it would be to allow us to provision licenses at a needed basis. We do still need to reach out to a sales rep to acquire additional licenses.

A great communication software, great for any company that has a lot of remote users, essential for International Marketing.

Pros

Most softphones systems work great, although, what I really love about RingCentral is their customer support. They tend to make calls to me and my co-workers to know about our experience constantly, you can clearly see that they cater to their users, which is something I deeply admire from any type of company.

Cons

As any softphone system, if you internet connection is not working properly, the calls' quality will deminish, so, in general I would recommend you to check your Internet speed before making a call, reset your router or your modem if you're experience a low connection, and then make the call, to ensure the quality.

Overall it is good. Will randomly get messages that we want to add lines to our plan when we did not initiate that request. Not sure if they keep getting our account mixed up with another company. Dedicated service rep has limited capabilities and acts mostly as a 3rd party with support. Wish they had more ability.

Pros

Ring Central is easy to set up and run. Very user friendly and easy to train employees on.

Cons

SMS was limited and plans were either not enough or way too much and were not cost effective for us.

Overall RingCentral was usable enough, but for the price we were paying they were far from satisfactory. Our accounts reps treated us with importance only in the beginning when we were just signing up, and then the end when they realized we were preparing to leave their product.

Pros

RingCentral Office did have a lot of features that others didn't have. Our organization has visually impaired employees so we have to make sure that whatever product we choose is accessible enough for them to use, and RingCentral was the only company at the time willing to let us trial their product for a few days in order for us to check this.

Cons

Customer service was poor, our account reps kept changing and wouldn't follow up on our communications and were hard to reach in general. Administering the users and phone numbers was tricky as we had to come up with workarounds to even interchange users with assigned phones, and support was aware of this as they are the ones who suggested that workaround to us. Administering licenses wasn't convenient as it had to be done through an account representative. RingCentral never delivered on their promise to fix major accessibility issues that were preventing our visually impaired users from using their desktop phone app.

Reason for choosing RingEX

RingCentral was the only company willing to give us a trial of their product so that we could check for accessibility.

We're replacing 50+ landlines with Ringcentral lines in the next 12 months. It's so simple to reassign lines, reroute callers, and more. It's worth it to switch.

Pros

Ringcentral lets me seamlessly add extensions, lines, change lines, and change line behaviors. Things I used to have the phone company come look at, and would take a week, now take minutes. I can transfer calls to employees from my cell phone, and get much better analytic insights to the way my company makes and receives calls.

Cons

Tech support isn't always the best. But generally finds me the answer to my problems in the end.

Pros

I like the ability to transfer within the app. That functionality within the app as well as on the desk phone makes my life easier with all the incorrect calls that are routed to my desk by others.

Cons

I am not a big fan of the mobile app functionality, and being IT that is a huge feature for me in a remote world

Keeps our entire business under one line with the proper call forwarding to each department and employee. Costs are fairly low, but call quality is fantastic and anyone can hear me loud and clear with no issues in regards to dropped call, static, etc.

Pros

Very quick to set recruiters and employees up with their own extensions. Fairly easy to work on call forwarding (ex: 1 for recruiting, 2 for dispatch, etc). Call quality is also fantastic.

Cons

Lots of bugs seem to pop up, also goes offline a little more than I'd normally prefer. Tech support seems to fix the issue, only for it to arise again for a few days.

### "Ring Central blows the others away!"

I am a cloud software systems integration and consulting firm with a select portfolio of vendor partners/platforms. I hand-pick, test and evaluate ALL our cloud platforms before recommending to our clients. I've tested MANY telephony solutions and bar none, Ring Central exceeds in performance, stability, user interface, integration w 3rd party platforms, price and more. I have hosted live web calls from my car on a mobile phone and screen shared with attendees located globally and have never had such flawless audio and streaming functionality as Ring Central. The mobile applications are beautifully designed, easy to use, and features that perform better then one typically expects! I also use Ring Central as our company telephony and meeting solution with full Google and CRM integration enabled. Love love love everything about this vendor and the amazing platform they developed. And a bonus......the account representatives and support teams I work with at RC are beyond great, friendly, knowledgable and fast to respond.

Pros

Web meetings are consistently stable, no audio issues, no connectivity challenges or dropped meetings. Audio is crystal clear. IVR and call routing is simple to deploy. Can't say enough about the features! Oh, LOVE the Chat feature and seamless fax functionality!

Cons

Would love to see more global expansion however, since partnering with Ring Central I have witnessed over 10 new countries added so I know they are on it :)

Once you get through the initial set up and have things running the way you prefer, RingCentral is a great product that served me quite well.

Pros

Having a phone infrastructure is essential to a small business. If your customers can't reach you, then you are dead in the water. RingCentral allows you to manage a phone system and ensure that your customers can always reach you and feel served. The ability to forward a main number to other lines makes it easy to keep people on call out of the office to serve clients any time.

Cons

The initial set up can be a bit cumbersome.

### "Why We Have Been RingCentral Clients for Years"

We started to use RingCentral Office for our business needs almost 10 years ago. We have been clients this entire time and have turned down possible "better offers" in the process. Why? Because RingCentral has PROVEN to us they are the best at what they do (at least in our opinion)!

Pros

Easy to set up... Easy to use... Customizable to our needs... Dedicated 888 number... Dedicated local dial up number... Office hours (to stop receiving phone calls forwarded to our cell phones at 2am)... Online FAX service...

Cons

I wish there was a way to BLOCK spammers...(If there is, I haven't figured it out yet).
