It helps me with my sales, I could not work without this software.

Pros

I like the ability to install in the Desktop App, Cellphone and even on my tablet. The fax feature is very simple, its just the number@rcfax.com, other service use very long fax email in order to send by email, you can print directly to fax, or fax from Desktop App. I can send Pictures from the Desktop App and from Mobile App, this is very useful for my work. They had a promotion for a fee Headset and they delivered. I have used the service for a couple of years already and experienced only one downtime for an hour or two, so very reliable. The cost is higher than most of the other providers. But, I guess its worth it.

Cons

I always get confused with the settings, it is not very easy to get the actual system going. I have experienced some glitches where the app does not open on the desktop, I have to call myself once, then the app stays open after that.

It's disappointing, to say the least. Their support system is not customer-centric and, working in this field myself, their customer success leaves much to be desired.

Pros

Initially, we liked Ringcentral's robust features. With our growing team, the platform worked very well during our first months of use.

Cons

The biggest complaint we had was that calls would unexpectantly crash or meeting links wouldn't open. Ultimately the decision was made to stop using the tool because over the course of our agreement, new users were added without removing some old users causing billing confusion. There was clearly a breakdown in communication and management on our end but when we reached out to try to correct the issues with POC, their help was less than ideal, billing remained confusing, and we were paying much more than we had initially budgeted for.

Reason for choosing RingEX

At the beginning of our relationship with Ringcentral, we were very optimistic with the evolution of our partnership.

RingCentral is pretty easy to use and having to use it for Efax as well and our calls to be timestamped.

There really isn't anything to complain about it since it has been great since I have been using it.

It came handy with cold calling I did for Refferrizer last year, a little buggy but good experience.

Pros

That it was all about just 1 click, the info about a person I needed to call about selling stuff was already automatically input in the software.

Cons

The price was a bit too high and you could only use the softphone per 2 persons, so literally not the whole team, eh.

Because it was most recommended by many people I worked with.

We can't imagine a better solution for our unified communication needs. We use RC Meetings for each team's weekly updates and strategy sessions, Glip to message back and forth and share files in the interim, and use the desktop and mobile apps for RingCentral on a daily basis.

Pros

I'm not sure how much more robust the software could possibly be. We use RingCentral in-house as well as resell it and if it isn't top tier UCaaS, I don't know what is.

Cons

There is a wide dearth between the mobile or desktop apps and the browser application in terms of functionality. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as for most users, the lion's share of their interaction with RingCentral would likely either be via a desktop phone or on a computer screen; but I don't often have need to launch the app in the browser and do most of my work from my mobile device anyway. So as an admin, my ability to oversee the account is limited in those contexts.

This has allowed me to greatly be able to track information while on the go when I'm not able to stop or write things down. It also allows for great reference when it comes to incident accountability.

Pros

It tends to work great a majority of the time. Recordings are very easy to play back, and are extremely helpful if you do any sort of dispatching or call-taking. This makes it very easy to reference information you may have forgotten to write down!

Cons

Call recording does not always work as it should. A majority of the time it does, however every so often it will record unanswered calls that it shouldn't, or playback of a call will skip and repeat the first few seconds before starting over due to a corrupted recording in the beginning. (All of the audio is still there, but you have to listen to it play the first few seconds again after it skips, before the rest of the call recording continues on normally).

My overall experience is good, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to customization.

Pros

I like that there's a portal and an app. Certain functionalities are easy to use. Fairly cost effective.

Cons

There are issues with VoIP sometimes. Ultimately my least favorite thing about RingCentral is changing/updating voicemails, messaging, prompting to for each different line because there are multiple places you have to go to make changes. It's not straightforward to click on the line and make the changes. You have to go to multiple pages and screens to address each line.

Not all the features are easily adapted to mobile phones. All calls are logged into our leads system, even those calls that are not meant for admissions

Pros

I like the way my voicemails are transcribed and emailed to me. I like the directory. I like the ease of transferring calls or forwarding them to another office.

Cons

It was sort of hard to understand at firs, but once I played with it more I was able to be more familiar.

I'm very satisfied overall. I have been using it with my company for years and will continue to do so.

Pros

I like how you can use it for overall communications means. From calling to team meetings/video meetings. I like how you can access it through any mobile device and also how when there are any issues or bugs in the system, the technical support personnel continuously follow up to ensure your issue is resolved.

Cons

The Chrome extension can be a bit buggy and tends to need restarting or redownloading every now and then.

The product has become and better each new update. Love the app to your cell and the unified communications.

Pros

It's synched to my Microsoft and really helps with meetings and being on time

Cons

No issues so far. If anything being able to call and speak to someone rather than doing everything online. Put the customer in more places on the app.

Pros

Ring central has many features to communicate with the clients. It includes sms, fax, video calls, call conference features. The ring central dashboard allows managers to check employee metrics easily.

Cons

As I work in the call center environment, I think there should be a feature to record outcome of my call. As for example, if the clients want me to call at a particular time, there should be feature to record that.

I can switch mid call from my computer to my cell phone seamlessly.

Pros

It's just so easy to use. Adding your contact is a few clicks, transferring calls is easy, conferencing is easy as well. The video calls are great quality, everything just runs smoothly, i highly recommend getting RingCentral.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about RingCentral. It might be more expensive than their competitors but you get what you pay for.

### "RingCentral MVP is the Best"

Pros

Ring Central is very easy to use. I could make phone calls anytime and you can set up extensions for your employees. I can send pictures and documents with this app. I can also set up and schedule meetings. I also loved the fact that there is a mobile version so I can have my business phone on the go.

Cons

My only issue would be that sometimes the calls wouldn't show up in real time on mobile. I would only get a missed call notification at times. This was very rare and it doesn't take away anything from the other great features of this app.

Overall we are quite happy with their service. We have rarely had any issues with our phones other than the occasional tech support issue. Their staff is very reliable and has 24-7 support and sticks with you until the problem is solved.

Pros

Ringcentral seamlessly integrates across their desk phone, mobile, and computer platforms. Our attorneys are constantly on the go and this helps them stay connected from wherever they are. Using the mobile platforms they are able to connect to their phone to make and receive calls just like they are at their desk. The web browser (chrome) plugins offers features like click to dial and click to text. This means we hardly ever have to manually dial a number to make a phone call.

Cons

With high quality VoIP service comes high bandwidth needs. We have to upgrade our network and internet service to be able to accommodate the increase load from the VoIP phones. The switch was worth it in the end.

I like that the software is user friendly and easy to implement. The implementation team is great.

Cons

The performance report takes an hour to update so I am not able to report in real time. Most of the help links are inactive or not up to date.

Again, my experience has been wonderful. Easy to use, easy to set up, solid customer service...I highly recommend their platform!

Pros

So easy to install and amazingly easy to use. We are an executive search firm and we were able to integrate RingCentral with our Applicant Tracking System so making out bound calls to clients and candidates is as easy as clicking on their phone number in our ATS! Additionally, we check references from time to time, so the ability to record phone calls so we can accurately transcribe our conversations is perfect! And...we can send/receive text messages as well which is AWESOME! I have not used the video yet, but will be testing it out next week - my expectation is that the video will be easy to use as well!

Cons

Hmmm...good question. I am hard pressed to find anything that we do not like about RingCentral thus far.

The calls come through efficiently and effectively. I don't think I've ever had to say "RingCentral has messed something up." Consistently, quietly efficient.

Pros

I like being able to track calls on a call log that I can download into Excel. I can download call logs and use the Find option in Excel to check for numbers to prove the presence of calls. I use the RingCentral app on my smart phone. The ability to text as well as call is very helpful because so many people will read a text ahead of a voice message. Multiple users were not difficult to set up after support walked me through the process. Support was always helpful, although they did encourage me to learn to do things without them. Security is good; there are multiple places requiring a second login to reach. Having the fax option is most helpful.

Cons

The interface is a little intimidating until you have worked with it for awhile. The tutorials were outdated when I began.
