Pros

  • User roles and post approvals (e.g. double approval) are well resolved. The second advantage of Postly is Writer AI, which can really be helpful.

  • Postly is a bit of a dark horse. After using the product it's clear the team is clearly focused on developing a high quality and polished SAAS product.

  • Once you are able to access the app you'll find it's a really nice bit of kit. Easy, fast and pleasant UX.

  • To date, we've had a really positive experience with Postly. Their customer support has been very helpful and the platform has felt very stable.

Cons

  • I've had a little trouble with the bulk upload process. It worked great the first month, and then got "stuck," for lack of a more technical term, the second month.

  • The only downside is that Postly does not currently integrate with Google My Business.

  • I am missing the AI writer and Reposting functionality I am used to in other products.

  • There are very few things that I don't like about POSTLY. As a local business marketer, I have to work with Google My Business.

"I've been using Postly.ai for one year !"

Pros: I've been using Postly.ai for a few months now, and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. As a SaaS tool, it simplifies social media management with a user-friendly interface and robust features. The ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms in one place has truly optimized my content strategy, saving me valuable time. What I particularly appreciate is the multi-account management feature, which is ideal for juggling multiple brands and audiences. The detailed analytics also provide valuable insights, allowing me to refine my strategies in real-time. Additionally, the customer support team is always responsive and ready to help, making every interaction a positive experience. I highly recommend Postly.ai to anyone looking to effectively enhance their social media presence.

Cons: For the moment I'm happy with the way I'm using it, but obviously if something doesn't work for me, I'll send that information to the developer!

"Postly.ai is the social scheduler you've been looking for"

Overall: After trying countless social media tools over the years, Postly stands out for being without errors and just a beauty for working with my clients. It has significantly streamlined my team's workflow. Highly recommend it!

Pros: The scheduling interface is so smooth and intuitive. After trying nearly every tool out there, this is the first one that actually makes content creation feel effortless instead of a chore.

Cons: None yet and it has been over a year. Hard to find something to say that is negative about it.

"POSTLY is a total waste of time and money!!!"

Overall: I havent had such a horrible nightmare with any other saas tool. The best part is after i spent over 100 hours designing and scheduling posts, the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] says you can ask for a refund and that all the effort and time and money to migrate to a new product didnt mean anything to him. DONT EVEN TOUCH THIS IF ITS FREE. you will be spending more time contacting them and fixing stuff that should have been working in the first place.

Pros: There is absolutely nothing to like about Postly. In fact i dont think it should even deserve to be listed on Capterra!

Cons: The product is full of bugs and is not ready for the market. This is a get rich quick idea! i bought a LTD from appsumo. Everything went horrible from day one. The posts scheduled as recurring posts started going out as threads of multiple posts for one post. For example a twitter post would go out as 3 tweets. The title and part url in one post. the second tweet will have the balance url and hashtags and the third tweet will have an image. Apparently you are suppose to preview each and every tweet you schedule and then edit the preview before it goes out. This is utter waste of time, I have been using many social media scheduling saas tools for last 10yrs.I have never come across such conditions. Finally the post is unclickable leaving a bad experience for the user to go out an delete all posts. Now just imagine you have to go back an edit each and every scheduled posts in the preview section. Further there is no structure for ease of navigation and accessing your scheduled content. For example if i just wanted to see my next posts scheduled to go out i cant find it. Finally the service is poor. They are unable to fix bugs and issues. My posts are not going out since last 10 days apparently there aresome serious bugs and they cant fix it. Their dev team replied saying that posts are not going out because you have to be signed into all your social media accounts and also you cannot set all your posts to recurring. This totally explains that the product team is garbage!

Hi Anand, I was not surprised you did this but this is rather unfair. Having personally attended to your issues, we fixed your Twitter Thread issue in less than 24hours. A lot of users here know that Postly does a good job of generating auto Twitter Threads and you can always use the Preview to do final edits before publishing. And, you also did not mention how you went ballistic and toxic from the get-go, calling me stupid for asking you to provide Workspace ID so we can troubleshoot. You never actually did provide the ID until after 72 hours, after we had blindly-troubleshooted your issues, spending hours on guess-work. My last comment here is, it is odd having such a feedback among so many fantastic reviews, so it is either the rest are lying or you are not being very truthful. Either way, I encourage everyone to give Postly a try. We also take customer support team very seriously and we respond promptly and would do our best to make sure you have a good experience. "Postly: Take control of your social media posting and maximize the value of reusing posts."

Overall: Really happy I bought it. Simple to use, yet incredibly effective at doing what would be a massivlet time consuming job.

Pros: How intuitive it is and the calendar function.

Cons: I had some promblems with Pinterest posts initially, but the customer service team were excellent and showed me how I had been using it wrong.

Switched From: Tailwind Systems
Reasons for Switching to POSTLY: Tailwind was too limited and malfunctioned too often.

"Ease of Use & a Great UI Make Postly a Homerun for Social Marketing Agencies"

Overall: To date, we've had a really positive experience with Postly. Their customer support has been very helpful and the platform has felt very stable. A permission structure on Workspaces has allowed our clients to feel "included" in their social media plans, too, which is incredibly important to us. The most important part of our experience was honestly the free tier. It allowed us to actually trial the platform before investing a bunch of money and finding out we didn't like it. This tactic immediately gave us a vote of confidence in Postly - because it shows that they believe in their product. So much so that if they gave you a small version for free, you'd sign up. They were right!

Pros: This year alone, our Agency has cycled through three other social media management platforms. And while features always seem to be aligned, it's been cost and interface that have constantly turned us away. Postly allows you a really low cost of entry (free!) and scales their pricing model in such a way that allows your business to scale FIRST before hammering you with high fees (like competitors). Their UI is simple and to the point. There was no need to sit through hours of video walkthroughs to understand how to use the platform - you simply login and embrace its intuitiveness. Within 5 minutes of using their trial, we purchased a license. And this was in the midst of being in 7-day trials with several other platforms! That's how comfortable the UI in Postly felt. Our experience since signup has not waivered. They have a nice Content AI tool that helps deliver fresh ideas, a "Hashtag" tracker that allows you to tap in to the current day's trends, and we've yet to have any issues posting to any channels.

Cons: The only downside is that Postly does not currently integrate with Google My Business. In speaking with support, however, that appears to be on the roadmap for release. Postly is not alone in this, either - many other platforms still have not adopted GMB. Once this is implemented, it would probably be everything we need in a platform!

Switched From: Woofy and ContentStudio
Reasons for Switching to POSTLY: Other platforms we used just felt clunky and overbearing in their UI. It was harder to navigate them and - in some cases - we felt like there was value missing when you compare cost to features.
