Once you learn how to use the software, you truly appreciate the many features it offers for managing and organizing databases. I use phpMyAdmin for both customer service and junior developer work, and it has always been reliable. I have never experienced any data loss, and it’s easy to restore records that clients have accidentally deleted. Navigating the database with phpMyAdmin is straightforward, thanks to its intuitive interface. The software offers numerous ways to filter and search for specific data, making it easy to locate exactly what you need. Additionally, creating backups is simple, ensuring that if anything goes wrong, you can quickly restore any lost or altered data. phpMyAdmin also supports a variety of database management tasks such as importing and exporting data in multiple formats (including CSV, SQL, and XML), managing user privileges, running SQL queries, and designing tables. The best part is that phpMyAdmin is free. It's incredible that such a feature-rich and useful piece of software is available at no cost, making it accessible to everyone from individuals to professionals. Cons phpMyAdmin is less user-friendly compared to some other software, and it does require a bit of time to learn how to navigate and utilize its features effectively. Maybe we are used to it because we have been using it for many years, but it is still easy. export and import work smoothly (except for file limits). We open Phpmyadmin every day without exception. It is always at our fingertips. We use integration with Apache or Xampp. we use xampp integration to start and stop. Cons Import data limits can sometimes disrupt our work. but we can edit it from the "ini" file. sometimes we don't have access to the "ini" file and need to use load\_data\_infile. In this case, we need ssh access. On the table creation screen via the interface, the TAB key does not work properly on the screen where the table name, type, length... is written. The tab key navigates all fields and it is necessary to press the tab key 10-15 times to go down to the bottom line. Inoltre, essendo phpMyAdmin un applicazione web è nativamente centralizzata e può permettere l'accesso, tramite apposita autenticazione, anche a più persone nel caso ce ne sia bisogno. Pros Si possono creare, modificare e gestire tabelle su un database MySql in maniera semplice ed intuitiva tramite la comoda interfaccia web del prodotto. E' possibile, inoltre, effettuare operazioni tecniche sul database, che normalmente richiederebbero più tempo e più competenza, con la sola capacità di saper navigare su un sito. Serve solo avere le idee chiare di quello che si vuole andare fare (che nome dare alla tabella, che campi metterci, che dati inseririci, etc. etc.). Cons La procedura di installazione spesso si rivela essere complicata se si vuole installare phpMyAdmin separatamente da MySql. Magari non per colpa del prototto in sè ma dell'ambiente su cui lo si va ad installare (Linux, Windows, Webserver, Firewall). Infatti, a volte, è preferibile e più pratico ricorrere a soluzioni, quali EasyPhp, che includono sia il database MySql sia phpMyAdmin già nativamente configurati assieme.
