Pros It is an application that allows you to easily recover files that have been lost or deleted, its free version recovers up to 100MB of data. In addition to this it offers tools for cloud editing. Cons The disadvantages of this application is that it can be very costly for companies that are starting in the industry or individuals working individually. For inexperienced users it can be very difficult to handle and it does not handle all file formats. I share this software because it makes the work much more efficient, instead of having to use a tape measure to mark a place, you simply use the tools provided by this software and you now have a precise scan of the work. Pros Its ease of field scanning is incredible, and it is a very useful tool, making data acquisition more efficient. In addition, being an AutoDesk product, it can be implemented very well with the company's other programs. In short, I think that ReCap Pro raises the quality of civil engineering education. Pros From the time I used ReCap Pro, it is easy for me to highlight the points that I liked most about using this tool, first of all. Its ability to transform scan data into precise and detailed 3D models is impressive, since it helped me a lot in my degree project. Another very important point of ReCap Pro is its ability to capture high-quality detailed models of real elements and transform them into 3D plans to understand and check existing conditions and important as-built elements to obtain information and make better decisions. Cons From my time using ReCap Pro at university and at work, I have had no negative points so far.
