Pros It is an application that allows you to easily recover files that have been lost or deleted, its free version recovers up to 100MB of data. In addition to this it offers tools for cloud editing. Cons The disadvantages of this application is that it can be very costly for companies that are starting in the industry or individuals working individually. For inexperienced users it can be very difficult to handle and it does not handle all file formats. September 19, 2023 4.0 In summary, my experience with ReCap Pro is based on two parts of my life, as a student and currently as a teacher, in the first case when I was at university this tool was useful and essential for me to learn about physical models in more detail thanks to that is transformed digitally, now as a teacher I use it to improve teaching to my civil engineering students in the subject of 3D design and modeling, currently I focus more on teaching its ability to transform scan data into accurate 3D models for teach the concepts of design and construction in a practical way and not so much theoretically. In short, I think that ReCap Pro raises the quality of civil engineering education. Pros From the time I used ReCap Pro, it is easy for me to highlight the points that I liked most about using this tool, first of all. Its ability to transform scan data into precise and detailed 3D models is impressive, since it helped me a lot in my degree project. Another very important point of ReCap Pro is its ability to capture high-quality detailed models of real elements and transform them into 3D plans to understand and check existing conditions and important as-built elements to obtain information and make better decisions.
