Scrape.do had the cleanest seller data at a price that works for our volume, and the support turned out better than I expected. When something breaks on Google's side, they tell me what they changed and when, and they check back on their own. We have been running it in production for three months now. Pros We pull Google Shopping prices for a few thousand products every night. Scrape.do gives us the seller list per product as JSON, so I never had to write a Google parser myself. The integration took me one afternoon in August and has run every night since. What I like most is the support. In October Google changed its product pages and part of our seller lists came back empty. I wrote to support at 9 in the morning, had a reply in two minutes, and by 7 in the evening they had fixed it for our market. Two different people followed up over the next days to ask whether it still held. Nobody made me repeat my question or sent me a canned answer. Outstanding support! Thank you! Cons Google changes its pages a lot, and the api sometimes needs a few days to catch up. In our case the fix held for about a week and then part of the problem came back, and we are on round two now. We keep the first page of sellers on our side as a fallback, which I would recommend to anyone who needs full data. Since Google's update, loading all sellers of a product takes two requests instead of one, so a product costs a bit more than it did in summer. I would not be able to do that without a scraper. Pros I am a fairly new user and I am using it via Claude Code. What I love: 1. It just works! 2. Documentation is excellent, enough for Claude to review and do its magic. 3. Excellent support - the team made sure I have what I need and really care about my success. Cons Too early to tell. It works well out of the box and saves a lot of time compared to building your own scraper. There were a few hiccups with certain websites, but overall it’s been stable and consistent. Pros Easy to use API, fast response times, and reliable scraping even on sites with strong protection. Setup was straightforward and documentation helped a lot. Cons Pricing can feel a bit high for heavy usage. Also, occasional retries are needed on very complex sites.
