The Sales Pipeline is easy to use and the customizable dashboard gives great insights for our team. Cons sometimes the automation of tasks and updates are slow or lacking. January 27, 2017 5.0 My business partner and I have been struggling to use SmartSheets - not because it isn't a robust project management program, but because it's too complex for our small business. I stumbled upon monday.com and signed up for a free trial. In less than 40 minutes, I had created a Sales Pipeline board that I populated with content and was useable immediately. It's addictive. I have always dreaded project management but monday.com makes it fun. I find myself logging on at home in the evenings if something creative crosses my mind while I'm cooking or working out. It's incredibly easy to use and feels really robust. I've already recommended it to four people and we've just ended our trial period and signed up for a plan! Pros Easy to use, intuitive, addicting - makes you want to log on and play around. Love the color coding, options for customization, and more. Cons Haven't found any yet. I'll let you know. It is imperative for us to keep track of key development using monday.com. It is visual and easy to manage. We use it at as a tool to provide an overview that is not possible in our production system. We use several main boards describing different phases of an order providing a linear approach to our orders. Where the order/pulse is moved through these phases/boards we can keep track of new key development. The last phase is constructed as a database were we store all our pulses/orders which provides great traceability. monday.com is a highly versatile system letting you design/tailor your own approach to project management. Pros I've been hating all the ads I've seen for Monday.com, but finally decided to see what the hype is all about. It's not hype. This software is the real deal - easy to set up, very intuitive, comes with more than 70 templates or you can create your own. Easy to follow, clients will love it, my collaborative teams will love it. Did the trial and am now buying the software. Kicking myself I didn't explore it before now. Its easy for all of us to use, even not so tech savvy people. Pros I love how easy this program is to use! The desktop & mobile app work great together and its almost a seamless transition between the two whether you are on the go or at the office. The tabs for the task are customizable and can be made to fit any need. Cons The free version has limited users so if you have a large group, you'll have to upgrade. The feature you can probably turn off but I haven't realized how to do it, is the notifications when changes are made to tasks themselves. It will say "hey your teammate changed this..." I like how the team spend a little time figuring out how the system works and more time on the projects and challenges that comes with it. It lets us know where we stand in each and every one of our projects, lets us know when the ball is in our court or our client's, and helps our team stay on top of their assigned tasks. We've used several different types of project management systems, and this is the first one that actually does what it's supposed to do. Everything we found - prior to monday.com- was designed to invoice people, take payments, email clients, launch marketing campaigns, etc. They were jack of all trades but masters of none. We were looking for a project management system that got down and to the point - manage the status of our projects. If you're looking for something similar to that, give monday.com a shot.
