They don't just help customers with their business needs, but help them achieve regulatory compliance deadlines. Their data management tools (Data Catalogue, Data Quality etc) are next to none. I can recommend Accurity as a great partner to work with. There are a lot of very technical tools out there that are great and very powerful, but most seem geared towards technical data engineering/data ops teams - Accurity is different. Pros Accurity plays a key role in assisting Nephos fix any issues / bugs within the platform. They go above and beyond to resolve issues in a timely manner, but also ensure there is clear and concise communication throughout. Cons Nothing! The experience Nephos have had with Accurity has involved zero concerns or complaints. All actions and feedback have been handled to a high standard. Pros Accurity provided exactly the structure and usability we needed to turn metadata management into a practical, value-creating process. The interface is intuitive for both business and technical users, making collaboration easy from the very beginning. Its flexibility allowed us to scale gradually and align data governance with real business needs instead of just documentation. Cons The platform is feature-rich, which means the initial configuration requires some planning and coordination with Accurity’s team. The mass import function of data rules was also used. This was an application over data on traffic operations in the road network of the Czech Republic. Pros I am definitely very positive about the consistency and, in fact, the usability of the entire user interface. However, usability is related to the understanding of functions, processes resulting from the issue of data governance. I positively evaluate the functional interconnection of all data, conditions and other information entered. The possibility of defining global parameters, which significantly simplified the inserted attributes, proved to be very crucial for our task of traffic data quality. Cons The created and used objects containing a long name cause some problems with clarity when using the application. Furthermore, I would see the ability to mass modify the success thresholds of rules as a practical feature. As less intuitive, I rate the options to select, filter, and view the results of the aggregated rule evaluations. Occasional errors occurred when importing rules in mass - this resulted in some rules not being created, while others were created despite an announced error. We move in thousands of rules and aggregated structures, so it was necessary to design methodical procedures how to create rules automatically and then import them. The Accurity application made all this possible. Pros Application clarity, excellent flexibility, for example by using global variables and the ability to import all structures and quality rules. Cons The business term lineage can be frustrating at times. There are directional workarounds you have to learn, but a little more flexibility with two way relationships (e.g. Parent & Child designations instead of only being able to designate a term as a parent). It shines at use and ease of adoption, as long as the company also adapts it's process management in order to create a synergy with the platform. It is missing some control over the main activities & users but we hope it will be sorted out at a later time with the release of workflow engine. It has simple interfaces that are easy to pick-up and it will surprise you how flexible it is when creating the data models. Pros Ease of use made our on-boarding with the platform a breeze. There are not a lot of major technical features that will create difficulties for the users, they are rather simple to start on and hop in the work. The activities are straight forward and have been adopted quickly by the business users. Cons The data model will give a bit of hassle to the implementing team. As with every new platform, a terminology and user interface experience must be taught, but there some terms different than real world scenarios which caused some misleading. Thereafter, maybe a localization module would be advisable so that end-users feel comfortable in a familiar scenery. Companies should ensure that they also apply the related change management processes. Especially clear definitions of roles and responsibilites are important. If this is applied well Accurity will bring the value of insight about your metadata - even for medium sized buisnesses. Pros Accurity is useful for all kinds of users - the related Business Glossary enables clear descriptions of all Terms used in your specific Industry / Domain. The Google Chrome plugin to search for related values on any website is a nice extension. But also expert users have various options to build their own metadata management and governance processes. The open API helps to synchronize important information within your overall solution architecture. This helps to keep one source of truth. Cons A deeper integration of reference data management would be beneficial. The product is provided with full documentation but can be overwhelming if you have no preliminary experience with such software solutions.
