No more hand counting everything plus the RFID feature is awesome. No more climbing under/over or unplugging and moving all the equipment to read the asset tag! Cons Set up was a bit technical and complicated, but now that we know how to move around in it, it's great. Purchased 4 years ago and still supported today! From the initial trial run to full implementation RedBeam was always available to assist us with any questions we may have. Pros Numerous options to track inventory. Once you get the hang of it is easy to navigate and use. We implemented our CSV files for importing our Assets streamlined the process. RedBeam associate was available to assist. RedBeam also help us get started with how to set up asset ID. Cons For us we did have to wait for the equipment to arrive but RedBeam representative was able to give us shipping updates. starting from scratch and building up all of our assets IDs. Cons The new version requires you to enter asset data in a setup for assets and not from the new asset data entry screen. The inventory report found/unfound needs to remove items that are listed as inactive as the reports are not accurate as they currently are set up. The Specialist assigned to our account has been great. She was very helpful and responded quickly when we reached out for additional products. Pros The asset tracking device is user-friendly and connects quickly. Customer service was quick and responsive. Cons We have only been using Redbeam for a few months and have not had any issues regarding the actual usuage. We had a bit of an issue setting up the printer but got it working just great. Support was able to customize the design for us which was very helpfull. Cons A little unfortunate was how the product was delivered to us. There were multiple packages and collecting all elements of the order took 2 months. Appreciated the ability to create custom labels using the Zebra printer. The database and printer have been fairly easy to set up, and the customer support team has been responsive to our requests when we come across questions. Cons Some additional reporting features could be useful in terms of Found/Not Found Assets. As of right now this data seems to be available only as two separate exports. I understand why they are locked but and administrator should have the ability to do this. Reason for choosing RedBeam More cost effective and the demo was much better.
