Our experience has been outstanding with Base station. They are super quick to get problems fixed in a timely manner.

Pros

Super easy to use for drivers and office. Also pricing is very reasonable compared to other softwares.

Cons

We wish the would integrate billing with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop. We could personalize our own invoices.

Our overall experience has been amazing! The Basestation employees are all friendly and super helpful. There are even constant updates and videos to go along with those updates. They make sure they are doing a great job with by phone check ins. You get immediate response if you have any questions or things that would help them make this system improve for the future. You won't be sorry! Choose BASESTATION!!

Pros

Basestation not only has the best customer service, but it is very user friendly. Very clean and easy to use. Adding customers is done in a snap. Looking up customers can be done in multiple different ways. Taking payments by phone or adding them to Auto pay are also options! We couldn't run our business without Basestation.

Cons

It is not equipped yet to email customers for information purposes, such as holiday schedule changes. You have to email from an email account. It does let you email invoices from Basestation.

Once we get all the kinks out, it will be a good system to use. It has been a huge adjustment but once everything gets smoothed out it will be great.

Pros

The customer support is amazing. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been sooo wonderful. I can email her a question and within minutes she has responded with a solution.

Cons

Dispatching in a rural area isn't always accurate. We live in a rural area and the latitude and longitude coordinates don't always take us to the correct place.

My overall experience with Basestation has been very pleasant and easy. I don't have to stress out about our backend because everything about it is simple, easily understood, and very accessible in all areas.

Pros

I love how Basestation not only covers all the essential needs for a roll off dumpster company; but they also have room for growth. We added on additional services to our company and are able to track all of that perfectly through the usage of "flat fees" and being able to customize our inventory within the software. Also, the ease of use in incomparable. We switched to Basestation after a few months with a different software because everything about Basestation is user friendly and easy to navigate. Then the icing on the cake their support team. Top notch. they respond quickly and so easy to work with.

Cons

I haven't found a con with Basestation yet. As mentioned in my comment on all the pros, I have been able to doing everything I need to do within Basestation. And I've been able to do it with ease.

DRS was complicate, messy, not user friendly. Basestation is the opposite of all of that. Even down to the way the pages look. Sometimes if a page is too messy it feels stressful and produces anxiety trying to navigate it. So even the layout of the pages within basestation is easy on the eyes and very practical in how it flows. It just makes sense.

Overall, our experience has been great and we are very happy we went with Basestation... The support is very good.

Pros

It's easy to learn and teach new users, they update the software regularly and they are constantly improving the product.

Cons

Nothing yet. We have used a few other softwares for our businesses and this one is great so far. We like how responsive they are when we have a question.

We dont really have complaints. We are waiting on quickbooks integration which I seen they are working on. We will be excited to use it for billing purposes

I was one of the first to use it and it has taken awhile for all the programming etc to be updated but \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team have always been very friendly and helpful and once my drivers figured out how to use the program, we haven't lost a can yet.

Pros

One quick all together program. Can do billing, invoicing and dispatch in one. Customer support is quick to answer and payments are easy to input.

Cons

I cannot pay my bills from it and it is getting to be a little expensive for our small business. I can not integrate it with my quick books program so have to transfer deposits by hand.

Pros

It is clean and simple. Customer support is amazing. Lot of options to add different tasks and activities.

Maybe a customer portal in the future? They can sign in to see their service days, what dumpsters are out, maybe FAQ page.

The simplicity and ease of use, while still offering all the features I need, is AMAZING! Customer support is outstanding; you actually get to speak with real humans who genuinely care.

Cons

At first, they weren't able to help me with my recurring services, but they listened to customer feedback and added it to their system! Now, I run both roll-off and front-load services through a single system.

The customer service has been amazing. They are very quick to respond with any questions! They also follow up and make sure all is going well and I have had 1 person to help so she understands how we operate.

Pros

Simple and very easy to Navigate! The Invoices are simple to understand for the customers. The online system is simple for the customers.

Cons

Unable to make and invoice! If there was a way to make the customer an invoice between billing periods it would help. We do large item pick up and I can not make one at the time of the pick up.

It’s been good so far, Staff are prompt to work out any issues if and when they occur.

Pros

Super easy to use to keep track of our daily tasks. Can use from anywhere (mostly) anytime.

Cons

The only problem I have run into while using Basestation, jobs not showing up for my drivers when I entered them, this was when I was in Saskatchewan, my company is based in Edmonton so different time zone at the time, so it caused some confusion, contacted Alex who was able to pin point the issue right away and was resolved quickly by changing our time zone on the computer and worked.

Have had great experience, \[sensitive content hidden\] and the team are helpful and fix problems quickly. I love dealing with smaller companies they know how to treat people and you can get help quickly! No long robo calls.

Pros

Keeps track of all my containers and has a map to see where they are. No more losing my containers for months!

Cons

Some of the data entry is redundant for me specifically, work mostly with homeowners, so inputting info for a contact and customer is slightly annoying

Speedy responses with inquiries, good training experiences so far and cost wise will be fair for our fleet operations.

Pros

Basestation will be our one solution software for dispatch, billing, and payment collection for our water, septic, waste services! I appreciate the open conversation of new initiatives/reports specific to our companies needs and commitment to the back office construction of enhancements.

Cons

With regards to data import, it would have been more effective if we could have attached client price categories at the time, rather than having to touch each client after the data is migrated.
