August 2, 2026 5.0 I've enjoyed working with cash app. After using it a couple of years I feel like I understand it more but it took some time to get it down pat. Pros Fees are pretty low and the customer service is 24/7 you can always talk to a live agent. I love that I can lock my card anytime too. Cons Can't transfer from just any other pay site. It can take a long time to get your money. If you transfer to the wrong user they don't always credit back. It has a clean interface and many useful features. Including being able to lock your card and create a new one. Pros It has very good features, like growing your savings, borrowing money, which has been helpful to me. Cons Sometimes it is a bit slow, or have trouble processing sometimes requests. Owner Accounting Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Ripped off and no protection from Cash App" July 23, 2026 1.0 I was defrauded by Bear Trail bikes and they are in the news right now. I was denied getting my money back because they stole it 7 months ago and kept promising to get my merchandise. I sent them the proof but they didn’t even look at it the first time they just denied it. They denied the appeal and I am going to get my money back through the government and prosecution of these people because this app doesn’t protect your money. Pros First of all, I have never had any money stolen by someone by not providing the merchandise, and being under federal prosecution, but Cash App denied my dispute. Apparently, they don’t provide protection like a bank does so don’t forget that! Cons It seemed convenient for a long time but no protection is no protection. I mostly use it for splitting bills with roommates or sending birthday money to my family. The setup was really fast and getting the physical cash card in the mail didnt take long at all. Its super convenient for quick payments and perfect for casual everyday use though. Pros I really like how simple the interface is compared to other banking apps. sending money to friends is almost instant and all you need is their cashtag which is way easier than asking for bank details. I also think the boost rewards are great because you can save a couple bucks on coffee or groceries just by using the cash card at certain places. Cons The customer support is definitely the weakest part because its really hard to get a real person on the phone if something goes wrong with a transaction. Otherwise it's great. Deleted accounts where you can't make a new cash app account making a long road to even re-sign up for the account for the cash app in the last place! Pros I actually like Cash App a lot because of the ease of ability to send funds digitally without using real cash, and also sending payments makes it easier to transfer money without needing to travel and meet together to pay for service provided or items for sale! Cons I loved using cash app instead of going inside a bank to make a withdraw but the only downside is the cash app can suspend your account sometimes for too many payments sent and/or high amount of money being sent! Cash app is not a very good tool when sending high amounts to often leading to full suspension of account when all the payments are for work being done and work being needed for friends or myself... :-( I'm not sure how safe sending 6 digits worth or receiving 6 or less is using cash app without getting flagged for suspension now you can't make a new cash app account because of phone #1 or e-mail issues using to try to resign up. Seems like everybody in the company wasn't on the same page. I could call and talk to different dispatchers and I got a different story from each one. That kind of got me really mistrusting that company Pros You know when cash app first came out I did not get a account and not long after that I believe somebody hacked into their system and stole $8 million dollars. So I really never thought it was safe I did however go ahead and get one as time progressed and most of the people I knew had one problem was is I'm a psychic medium and I have people send multiple amounts of money different amounts and they would shut my account down sometimes with the money still in it where I couldn't get to it. Cons The least thing I liked about cash up was their policy. It was hard to have a business account especially on the line of work that I am in. Because they always accused me of gambling lol 🤣 and I just run a psychic hotline so people send me multiple of different amounts of money and I guess they thought something was fishy I'm not sure but I went through this with 13 accounts Review Source Amee P.
