Pros Its very easy to use. Its easy to request money and pay other people. You can also get direct deposits, buy crypto, stocks, pool money with others, get a debit card, deposit money into your account at retail locations and earn referral bonuses. Cons It is almost impossible to get a refund unless the other person agrees to refund you which makes it very difficult to get money back from scammers. April 27, 2026 5.0 Overall I absolutely love Cash App and it is my main form of sending and receiving money when I need to. It is super easy to use, and I like that I can customize my own physical card to use whenever and wherever! Cash App is extremely easy to use and super helpful! Pros I love that it is easy to navigate and send and receive money. I like that you can customize your own Cash App card and use it to pay at actual stores. I think there is an amazing value for money and they have wonderful customer support, they are always able to help you and figure out what is going on. The payment processing is quick and it lets you know when your payment has gone through, and it is easy for debit or credit card payments as well. One being that Cash App is a lot easier to use and figure out, another being that a lot of the people that I know use Cash App, so it is easier to send and receive money with them using Cash App! I had an account for approximately 3 months and did 3 transactions .. 1- I received money from my sister $75 and twice I sent my son $20 and they closed my account saying I violated there code of standards due to suspicious activity .. what activity.. 3 transactions .. no more than 75 dollars really .. that is what they said and there is nothing I can do to defend myself or clear up their mistake .. I was told there is no further explanation I am sorry thank you and have a nice day .. so you know what other bank "everyone" has .. Its super convenient for quick payments and perfect for casual everyday use though. Pros I really like how simple the interface is compared to other banking apps. sending money to friends is almost instant and all you need is their cashtag which is way easier than asking for bank details. I also think the boost rewards are great because you can save a couple bucks on coffee or groceries just by using the cash card at certain places. Cons The customer support is definitely the weakest part because its really hard to get a real person on the phone if something goes wrong with a transaction. Otherwise it's great. Pros I love the cash app. I Love the versatility where you can send and receive cash. But you can also invest in stocks, it has a savings option and buy bitcoin. It's great! I can also set up a weekly allowance for my child under the "family" feature. And I can order a card to use in physical form as well as digitally. And I can use it with people who don't have any other forms of sending and receiving money. I can see who I've paid and who has sent money to me in the past. Saved people I've used cash app with making it easy to find them. Cons Lately had issues with putting in a person's name, instead of their number, to find who I'm looking for. I liked being able to link my bank card, buy Bitcoin, and even receive business payments. The security and speed of transactions made it a real asset. Cons Fees could be a bit high for certain types of withdrawals or instant transfers. Customer support was sometimes hard to reach, which could make resolving issues a bit slow. And they are now going back on their word and refusing to give me a $195.65. Even though they sided with me and said that the claim was in my favor they are holding my money hostage. As of today, MJ with the Cash App Complaint Operations Team told me I'm not getting it, even though the claim was sided in my favor. So whoever that is refuses to do her job, time to lawyer up for me I guess, because your company is holding my money from me. While the service has potential to make financial transactions easier, their gross negligence in customer service and failure to remedy certain problems have pulled me away from the service. Pros Initially, I liked the ease of use and versatility of the software. Sending money to friends and family became easier. Unfortunately, that experience was short lived. Cons Cash App has a horrible customer service experience. On many occasions, I've tried to resolve account issues with their team and to no avail. Financial records have been withheld from me when requested, accounts deleted with no clear reasoning, and even now – I do not have full access to my account. The card lock feature doesn't work for my card, and no help has been provided in almost 2 years of asking.
