It was great in getting the content together but didn’t work for us due to the flexibility we needed. We opted for making a WordPress based site instead. It offers a easy way to do budget/free websites that look professional and provide a great medium for your online audience. Pros Weebly offers fully integrated features to get a website going in a snap! The customizations are great for small businesses and blogs alike. So many features free and premium. Lots of features to make a beautiful site or store at your fingertips. Lots of info and tutorials all over the web in case you get stuck trying to implement certain features. Cons It's been awhile since I last used Weebly, but didn't like that I couldn't implement a lot of server side applications from outside of Weebly. Also, although good for beginners, may not be for the advanced. Being drag and drop, a lot of sites end up looking similar compared to sites built from scratch. Pros We used Weebly initially as a blogging tool, but when we wanted to start monetizing our site iwth products we found the commerce tools to be clunky. Cons I used this software for a client who had a hard time dealing with it after the handoff. He wasn't especially tech-savvy, so that's something you might want to consider if you're in the same boat. Pros I like how easy it is to use weebly to build a website. It takes little to no times to throw up a website. It's very easy to use, and you can change the theme of the website with little as a few buttons. The user interface side bar makes it quick to access different tools. The pricing for it is also very reasonable and not overpriced. Cons It has very limited blogging tools. Its there but not as good as other site builders. The built in photo editor is very basic and simple. Not necessarily a con, but it could have extra layers of sophistication. It allows you to access styles that mimic those of sites built by pros. It has access to complimentary services too, like logo design and easy access to your own custom URL. The freemium model gives you a great chance to try before you buy, then when you decide it fits move seamlessly up to more complex services. Cons A few minor things. If an add on says free, then it shouldn't be trying to charge within 5 mins. I had some major issues with responsive design - when viewed on an iPhone very wonky. The Weebly interface is so well organized that we do not need a long time to notice what Weebly has to offer. It has a left-hand menu for quick access to its key features. A simple drag & drop will allow us to add text, images or forms... The plan Free is free, but we'll see an advertising link at the bottom bar. If we choose the Starter plan, we will be able to change and customize this bottom bar and then also get rid of advertising. The Pro package also includes a slideshow feature in the top of the screen and search within the site. The domain is included for the first year, after that, it becomes paying. In any case, I recommend to try before the Free Plan to verify a lot of features.
