Very user friendly overall. Pros I liked the many, many options for customizing a website and having the potential to make this a one-stop-shop too for also purchasing a web address. Cons There are a lot of options, but sometimes that can overwhelming to someone that doesn't work with websites all the time. I will know a lot more over the course of the next few months as I work more with the platform. Pros I have only used the software for a short while, but it seems very intuitive and easy to use. I was able to edit information on a website without too much trouble. Also the online support through email has been good and the security of the software seems great. Cons I had a difficult time getting through to support via the telephone support line. As is the case with many support groups there was a long hold time. But in the other hand if you don't want to waste time and just lunch your site, Weebly could help you. It is the cheapest option. Pros If you're looking for the most inexpensive choice in website builders, Weebly got you covered. It's easy to use, and you could launch your site in a few hours (if you got all the elements like photos, texts and links ready). They are partnered with square, so that makes them a good choice for an online store. Cons The problem with Weebly is that they work with templates, and your site is going to look kind of generic. You can change every part of it, but the general structure and look is going to be like every other user of Weebly. I also found that the builder is not so intuitive, it is kind of hard to achieve the results of the template you're presented, because they use good pictures and fonts. If you don't know anything about design, it is not going to look so good. Weebly provides hosting for sites built on its platform and this was of great value to us because of the fast load speeds, they also provided SSL. Customer support is also great via email and the knowledge base. Cons The biggest disadvantage we encountered was migrating our data to our main wordpress site after the campaign was over. Migrating content was via ZIP file which we exported, but for blogs had to be manually copied Review Source Jim C. Pros I like the fact that Weebly is one of the platforms that allows you to drag and drop features and functionality. You can drag and drop various programs and plugins that will allow you to build your business from the ground up. It is perfect for those that want to be bloggers or writers. Cons The style sheets and some of the plugins that come with Weebly are kind of clunky. So many features require you to be a premium member. Pros I do appreciate how dumb down/simple the whole process is. It reminds me of Canva--anyone without web development experience can create their own website, for free! I think the barebones of any website can be done through Weebly and to me thats all you need Cons Can think of too much. If I had to nitpick, I guess it does not compete too well relatie to squarespace and all in terms of attraction. I often find my peers interested in Squarespace because it is advertised alot. Weebly i hardly see ads for.
