Revolut is one of the few payment platforms that offers cashback for your purchases, this is a point to take into account when comparing it with other platforms, it has many integrations with other billing platforms such as Xero, slack among others, its API can be integrated both in web version and in mobile version. Pros Revolut is a payment processor with many tools that has gone unnoticed, it is a Neobank with a lot of potential, I have used the personal and business versions and I can say that it far surpasses large payment processors. One of the functions that I can highlight is that it issues both physical and virtual cards, so you can have better control of expenses and avoid hidden payments, I like that it is digitized and you can receive contactless payments on your iPhone, no need for a POS. Cons What I don't like is that sometimes the synchronization with some banks is not working, I have had problems connecting with a bank, Revolut uses Plaid, and for some reason it doesn’t recognize the login of the bank that I wanted to add. It's great for businesses that have financial activities in different currencies. Pros Revolut is our go-to banking application; it provides wallets for different currencies, great exchange rates, and amazing transfer fees for businesses. We have providers from different parts of the world, and this application makes our operations seamless. Cons I have nothing bad to say; this tool has been great and has saved us a lot of money on fees. One suggestion will be to make the chat support button more accessible. July 21, 2025 1.0 To be honest, our experience with Revolut Business was terrible. What started as a promising platform quickly turned into a frustrating and stressful situation. We faced issues accessing our own funds, with little to no explanation from support. At one point, we even had money frozen without clear communication — which is incredibly alarming for any business that relies on timely transactions. We’ve been using Stripe for over four years without a single issue, so dealing with Revolut felt like a huge step backwards. In the end, we had to close our personal accounts entirely and only kept the business one active just to retrieve the money we had already received. Looking back, signing up with Revolut was a mistake — one we wouldn’t repeat. It's not a service we can trust, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others. It feels modern and smooth compared to old-school banks. But if your business is growing fast you’ll need to watch the fees and plan restrictions. For someone doing online/global work and who’s cool with managing everything from a phone or laptop, it’s a pretty good option. Pros The app is really easy to use and I got set up super fast. I can hold different currencies and send payments abroad without it being a huge pain. The cards (physical + virtual) are handy for tracking spending. Cons Some features are locked behind pricier plans, so if you’re on the cheap one you’ll feel a bit restricted. We will cancel our business account and look for alternatives. Pros Multiple accounts, currency exchanges, allowing users to have different access roles, and it is a modern banking experience. Cons We decided to quit using them after spending 100k$+ on their app. Scale plan was auto renewed, however team did not notice and downgraded to Growth, the system did not auto refund the amount. So we paid 180$ for a service we did not use. When we reached out to support, they auto answered only, no help, we will proceed with legal applications. I recommend it to all my friends and I'm looking forward to getting a second card as well, once there is a MasterCard available as well. It's a revolutionary product and the price:quality ratio is unbeatable. I hope that soon it can completely replace other tools, such as Paypal. For the few months I have been using it, it has probably saved me hundreds of dollars just by the fees I would have to pay otherwise using regular banks - for international transfers, spending abroad, etc. It's also a wonderful tool to help you save money, as you can create vaults in which to set aside some money regularly and helps you keep track on your progress. Pros The interbank exchange rates Revolut use are phenomenal. There is no way to get that exchange elsewhere and especially with the convenience of doing everything on your phone. The app is great, very easy to use and you get real time notifications for any transactions made in your account. The customer support is also very responsive, you can chat with them real time on your phone and they are very very helpful. Cons I don't know if there is such a thing. Perhaps I wish that the limits for withdrawing were somewhat higher and they had other options for Debit cards other than Visa for non-premium users. Pros I was easy to open an account and get the debit card. Cons You can't pay taxes. So if you have a business and therefore need to pay taxes, Revolut Business will not serve you. Pros The features that exist work well most of the time. The interface is clean. The product is conveinient Cons Nonexistent features are oversold-- "Xero integration". Customer service inquiries have been excruciating endeavors. Usually CS conversations drag on for days or weeks, with chat-only replies coming back every few hours from a different staff member. The entire two-week trial period only let me test their support experience while they fixed their own admitted issues/bugs with the account. Not extending the trial is a "set policy", and it can only roll over into an annual contract. I trialled Revolut for Business circa 6 months ago, and can firmly say the experience has not improved since then, and features promised more than a year back have never materialized. After setup completion they gave a notification of "missing documentation" after following the notification there is a blank screen, contacted support who sent me to the same place. My account was then limited and customer payments rejected and then I was provided information that I need to provide documents which I submitted and they accepted on setup. Pros Free, easy to use, and good expense management and tracking tools. Cons Had some issues with setup and verification, customer support are not helpful and just send the same generic mail stating to "follow these steps" after you tell them the steps/links/references don't work. November 14, 2019 4.0 Great for doing international business and hold multiple currencies. Best of all, convert currencies without crazy bank/wire transfer fees! Pros After Circle Pay and its awesome currency converter shut down, I had to look elsewhere for options to convert euros to USD without paying $$$. Revolut was the next best option. I was able to add my Euro and USD bank accounts/debit cards to Revolut and then convert money right there in the app quickly! Bank transfers were within 2-3 days. So this is my to-go app for currency converter. Cons Revolut needs to let us in the US to be able to add euros to our accounts. This time my European bank does the conversion to USD when I add the money to my Revolut account.
