Overall: it is a very helpful and handy program that I enjoy working with sporadically
Pros: I can edit (blur) a video with many people on the screen in one go. Which would be very time consuming in a regular editing program.
Cons: For me it would be useful if more video formats could be worked with.
"Accessible without large capital outlay"
Overall: Good communications with sales team, but no high pressure selling techniques. If the free (up to 20 minutes per month ) version suits you then they let you now.
Pros: Currently our organisation does not have a priority use for this product, however as the entry cost is free and then scalable it makes a perfect entry point solution for us.
Cons: Nothing seems problematic at the moment.
"Great tool for complying with GDPR"
Overall: Easy sign up, easy to use (didn't need to follow any instructions); found it very intuitive and the end result is great
Pros: Found this tool and used it to blur out faces in CCTV footage to allow us to comply very quickly with a DSAR made under the GDPR
Cons: None so far: the software is very easy to use
"A quick way to ensure privacy in shared videos"
Overall: In my work I sometimes film groundtruth to verify the performance of our traffic radars. Secure Reduct lets me easily blur private details in the reference videos, it is a perfect tool for a short clip that goes to a public presentation.
Pros: Free trial, easy to use, intuitively clear interface, optimal choice of options, good processing speed, and excellent results in both video quality and blurred faces (or license plates).
Cons: Hard to say, maybe too much black in the empty background.
