Their support staff and team is extremely responsive and helpful. I can't say enough about them! The product is continually being enhanced, and I love using it. This product has and will save me and my team many hours! Pros The ability to cost recipes real time is absolutely amazing. In addition, having weekly live updates for each of the food items we buy is invaluable. The ability to scale each recipe for our catering / baking business is extremely helpful and less mistakes are made! Cons I would LOVE for it to export food costs in different weights (i.e., box cost or by the pound) so I can use it for inventory. Reason for choosing meez I only looked at the product Toast brought and didn't like the Corporate / big feel of the product. The word feature is awesome, and it has brought a fair deal of consistency in terms of the preparation to the kitchen team. Cons It would be great to have an app for this. Pros This product allows me to organize my recipes and record necessary prep steps in an easy-to-read format. Scaling recipes is made easy with their format. Cons There are still a lot of limitations to how you add and convert ingredients. I don't find their conversion and yield modifiers intuitive and they lack the educational resources on their site to learn. I can change one ingredient to what i have onhand and it will adjust the rest of the recipe to match....great time saver! I also can capture pages of my book so I can reference later on anything of note (I can also organize it digitally!) Pros this is a really easy software to use. You can be up and running as soon as you download. Go back later and finesse! Cons I have a link more than an app on my phone which was confusing at the beginning. Pros It is very easy to use, and looks great on both mobile and desktop. The ability to upload photos and videos for individual steps is great for sharing steps with the team. Cons Our business model is a bit unique and there are some processes on our end that the software didn't provide. Pros This software was simple for me to use, and allowed me to publish detailed recipes for our end users. We were looking for a professional looking platform that we could help our end user easily follow a recipe on our website. With the nutritional value coming online soon, I am eager to have our clients see that as well! There are a few quirks on the front end, but it become second nature very quickly. Cons The printing & exporting to PDF is a pain.
