Different links for viewing, editing and collaboration which enhances security features. Being able to automate responses and output them into MS Planner as tasks. In my case forms worked for me to make a plant inventory. Putting standard info on the survey, that then many people fill to make a better, and faster asset inventory at my location. So there are many examples of how this tool can work for more than a quick survey. Cons I think forms its used mainly to collect data, but it could extend its funcionalitty to not only collect data, but also create question and inmediate pre programed responses or messages to users. So that it is interactive, or some small games or dinamics can be played on forms. Based on preprogramed configuration. It's not something that needs to be learned and or trained on. Pros I like that it can download the data into an Excel sheet to showcase all the numbers. Also, the varieties have a pie chart to show the results visually. From an admin and participant perspective it is a very well-rounded software that doesn't differ too much. The options of question types are not confusing and doesn't clear on to help you what goal you're trying to achieve. I appreciate the existing template that is being offered currently. It's a good range for people to begin with and it showcases that i Cons From an admin side: I feel that it would be useful in a technical aspect, to put ideal background wallpaper format size for users to be aware that if it isn't this particular size, the image will be stretched. Integrating with Sharepoint was a breeze. Mocking the forms was also easy to help review with the end users to verify the flow. Pros Forms is very flexible and provides a lot of customization power. Integration with databases and other Microsoft products was straightforward. Cons The workflow logic can get very complex and hard to manage for more involved business processes, so one should do some upfront flow planning and what criteria must be met to move to the next step. Pros It's very easy to create new forms and to specify the types of questions to be asked. The data presentation is also very powerful. Cons The forms features are somewhat simple, so it's a bit difficult to create more advanced custom forms with multiple links and references. Even the "branching" function is a little clunky, but it is still useable. It makes it a good value for our money if we're already paying for it. It's also easy to use and navigate. Pros I love the dynamic options for design and customization. Being able to utilize videos and sound can really compliment forms. My preference is for forms that collect and display data in an easy to visualize way, so that is a bonus. It's also helpful when trying to make sure my team responds thanks to being able to send it directly to the organizational emails. Cons I am not sure how secure the platform is, but that is due to my own lack of knowledge. I have not looked into that, so don't weigh that factor of the decision on me. It integrates with Microsoft Lists (SharePoint) which is very useful for task management. Cons It does not allow branching on multiple-choice questions. Some of the branching features aren't intuitive until you experiment. The follow-ups could be done easily by means of creating question banks that had auto-grading. Cons It shows poor capacity to monitor partial submissions and access incomplete submissions. It looks professional and has the capabilities to collect different types of survey information. Pros Creating a form is easy. With no training or tutorials, it is possible to create a title, questions and types of questions, such as multiple choice, ratings, etc. You can then email a link to the survey from your email account. It even creates a report of the survey which you can download, when complete. Cons It is not easy finding when the survey is complete, or progress on how many people have completed the survey, without going into the forms. I use it with my students a lot to get them to sign agreements before they work on their projects and it's very easy for them to complete the form. It's also easy for me to design the surveys or forms. Pros It's user friendly and very easy to use. It feels intuitive and doesn't require any experience to use it. I also like the fact that you can make it for people in your organisation only but still have the option to make it anonymous. When the survey isn't anonymous, I like the fact that it tell you that the owner will be able to see the name. Cons It's not that I like the least but I'd like to see a slider option for questions like the one in Qualtrics.
