Overall, the content library is wide, but most learners could simply watch without learning anything from the content. Additionally, when it was available, the integration between LiL and our LMS was clunky when it was available.

Pros

Lots of content and is easy to deploy. It used to also integrate with our LMS seamlessly, though, not perfectly.

Cons

The integration between our LMS and LiL was disabled and has been unavailable since then. We were informed about this, but that was the main factor we launched it.

I personally like using Linkedin Learning when I am learning a new topic and when I have already purchased LinkedIn Premium.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning offer important courses in a short and concise way. It is not only easy to understand but also time saving.

Cons

The pricing of LinkedIn learning is too high. Furthermore, the certifications from linkedin offer little value in the job market.

My overall experience with LinkedIn Learning has been very positive. As an employee, it has helped me enhance my professional skills, stay updated with industry trends, and improve my productivity at work. The platform's user-friendly interface and personalized course recommendations make learning convenient and engaging. It has been a valuable resource for both personal and career growth.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning provides a vast library of high-quality courses covering business, technology, leadership, and professional development. The courses are well-structured, easy to follow, and taught by industry experts. I particularly appreciate the flexibility to learn at my own pace and the ability to earn certificates that can be showcased on my LinkedIn profile.

Cons

Some advanced courses could include more hands-on projects and real-world case studies. Additionally, a few courses become outdated over time due to rapid changes in technology and industry practices.

As a small language school like ours, it is a good supplemental material. My students like having additional materials, but I wish the site had more interactive activities. The monthly fee per user is reasonable, and we only want to use it when the students are actively using it in conjunction with our regular curriculum.

Pros

The language courses really dovetail into what I am teaching in class. The videos are available to practice between lessons. Some great teaching methodology courses were also found, helped me to organize my intermediate group in Swedish better. The certificates motivate my adult learners, they share them on their profiles.

Cons

Course search isn't great when looking for specific language levels. There is some dated content, particularly the 2018 Business language modules. Prefers printable resources to be used in the classroom.

Started using LinkedIn learning when LinkedIn offered me a trial for a month and then I watched some content over there regarding software development and C# lessons.

Pros

The one thing that stands on a right way about LinkedIn learning is too the quantity of courses that they offer and quality.

Cons

The fact that you have to purchase a premium account on a LinkedIn to access the full content is the only thing that bothers me.

LinkedIn Learning has been my go to for learning new content without needing to go to a bunch of websites to research where there isn't a scope of what I need to understand. Additionally, the subscription required for LinkedIn Learning is not expensive and you learn a lot for just a low cost.

Pros

There is a variety of content from different areas from business to software engineering to new tech tools and LinkedIn Learning does a great job of presenting concepts in a way that makes sense. You even get multiple attempts on chapter quizzes to show mastery towards content. Additionally, upon completion of a course, you earn a certificate you can show and the course is tied to applicable LinkedIn skills.

Cons

Sometimes, courses on leadership and marketing can be long winded and the speaker doesn't always get to the point making the content somewhat mind numbing. Additionally, LinkedIn should ask you first weather you want applicable skills tied to a course added to your profile rather than adding them as new skills by default.

Useful learning platform with varying degrees of rigour on a myriad of topics both functional and technical.

Pros

Several courses with varying degree of rigour. Very useful to get a quick handle on topics or invest further time as one would like.

Cons

Some basic access should be available even to users without LinkedIn Premium. It would help increase interest and check relevance before fully committing to it.

I've found LinkedIn Learning to be a reliable source for professional development material as well as being a great source of refresher material.

Pros

The resources provided within the LinkedIn Learning platform are good value for the price you pay for access. The user interface is easy to navigate due to the site's intuitive content layout and page design. Features such as learning grouping for your own collated lesson plans is an added bonus.

Cons

Some of the lessons are slightly dated (which is easy to do in the digital realm where content changes so frequently).

LinkedIn Learning contains a lot of content to learn and also practice to obtain a certification, is really good to improve both soft and hard skills, and get a badge once you complete

You need to pay even for some foundational courses, so, even to begin or try some content, you need to open your wallet
