### "Great Learning Platform"

5.0

November 3, 2026

Overall, I think my experience has been pretty decent despite the limitation on the types of courses that LinkedIn provides.

Pros

I like how there's a vast catalog of learnings to choose from from different topics and subject areas. I particularly like the feature of the learning paths you can follow. That makes it easier to cover relevant courses without having to search/ find them individually. It's also quite nice that I can download my certificates upon completing courses or choose to directly upload them to my LinkedIn page for other's to see.

Cons

I think it's a pretty decent learning platform for upskilling but I haven't yet found courses that go as in depth as I'd like. It offers a more passive learning experience which isn't ideal for me to gain expert-level knowledge in the new areas I'm pursuing. I wish the learnings could be much more interactive because that way I would be able to fully engage in what I'm learning.

I've learned a lot with the courses offered in LinkedIn Learning. It would make LinkedIn more of a destination site if you did not have to pay for it.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning offers a great diversity of courses and I can learn at my own pace. The instructors are usually very engaging as well.

Cons

Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of the availability of curricula. Also, I wish the platform was free past a trial period.

### "Still The Best Online Educational Platform that's Offered at No Cost"

5.0

October 13, 2026

I have used LinkedIn Learning independently to learn new skills, and as part of the coursework within a college class. I've always been impressed with the shear scope of educational topics available offered on the platform. The number of classes that are available are especially surprising when you consider the price of the service, which is provided at no cost.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning is a fantastic online learning platform for several reasons. Most of all though, the fact that the courses are free, and not hidden behind a paywall is definitely the best feature of the platform.

Cons

There are very few problems with LinkedIn Learning, so it's hard to point out any problems with the service. The only drawback I can think of has not changed since my last review: The lack of interactive learning features is somewhat disappointing. Many educational platforms have assignments, or other additional material that supplement the videos. This would significantly improve the learning process.

I have found LinkedIn Learning useful for developing new skills and refreshing knowledge when needed. The ability to choose individual topics and progress through a course at my own pace works well for me.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning has a broad selection of courses covering technical skills, software, business topics, and professional development. I like that many courses are divided into relatively short sections, which makes it easier to learn at my own pace rather than committing to long sessions.

Cons

Course quality and depth can vary depending on the instructor and topic. Some courses provide a good introduction but do not go deep enough when you already have experience with the subject.

My employer offers this as a perk. I use it to go towards my ongoing CPD. Certificates can be downloaded or even shared on a LinkedIn post which lets your connections enjoy access to your course.

Pros

There is a very broad range of courses available. I have found some great people to follow on LinkedIn and signed up for newsletters etc. New corses are added regularly and older ones can be updated.

Cons

The cost is high but if you use it a lot if is worthwhile. Some courses are lower quality and self promote the people who created the courses. However you can just stop watching them.

Pretty positive. However for the cost, we would have needed better controls in place and a more curated system for the content.

Pros

The various offerings are incredible and you can offer a lot of paths for your team, so a real positive for the money.

Cons

There is a little too much, and the quality control isn't always there. They could do a much better job of pulling down content that is no longer relevant.

My overall experience has been very positive. I use LinkedIn Learning as a practical resource for continuous professional development and for keeping my knowledge current across design, product, business, and technology topics. The platform is easy to navigate, recommendations are generally relevant, and the ability to learn in shorter sessions makes it particularly useful alongside day-to-day client work. It has become one of the platforms I can quickly turn to when I want either a structured introduction to a new subject or a refresher on an existing skill.

Pros

I like how easy LinkedIn Learning makes it to fit professional development into a busy work schedule. The courses are generally well structured, clearly presented, and divided into manageable sections, so I can either complete a full learning path or quickly focus on a specific topic when I need it. I especially find it useful for UX, product thinking, project management, leadership, and software-related skills. The integration with the broader LinkedIn ecosystem also makes the experience feel more connected to professional growth.

Cons

The main limitation for me is that the depth of the courses can vary. Many courses are excellent for building a solid understanding of a topic, but for highly technical or specialized subjects I sometimes need additional resources or more hands-on training. I would also like to see more advanced project-based content where learners can work through realistic business scenarios from beginning to end.

Overall, the content library is wide, but most learners could simply watch without learning anything from the content. Additionally, when it was available, the integration between LiL and our LMS was clunky when it was available.

Pros

Lots of content and is easy to deploy. It used to also integrate with our LMS seamlessly, though, not perfectly.

Cons

The integration between our LMS and LiL was disabled and has been unavailable since then. We were informed about this, but that was the main factor we launched it.

I personally like using Linkedin Learning when I am learning a new topic and when I have already purchased LinkedIn Premium.

Pros

LinkedIn Learning offer important courses in a short and concise way. It is not only easy to understand but also time saving.

Cons

The pricing of LinkedIn learning is too high. Furthermore, the certifications from linkedin offer little value in the job market.
