### "A reliable platform for continuous professional development"

August 14, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been very positive. I use LinkedIn Learning as a practical resource for continuous professional development and for keeping my knowledge current across design, product, business, and technology topics. The platform is easy to navigate, recommendations are generally relevant, and the ability to learn in shorter sessions makes it particularly useful alongside day-to-day client work. It has become one of the platforms I can quickly turn to when I want either a structured introduction to a new subject or a refresher on an existing skill.

Pros

I like how easy LinkedIn Learning makes it to fit professional development into a busy work schedule. The courses are generally well structured, clearly presented, and divided into manageable sections, so I can either complete a full learning path or quickly focus on a specific topic when I need it. I especially find it useful for UX, product thinking, project management, leadership, and software-related skills. The integration with the broader LinkedIn ecosystem also makes the experience feel more connected to professional growth.

Cons

The main limitation for me is that the depth of the courses can vary. Many courses are excellent for building a solid understanding of a topic, but for highly technical or specialized subjects I sometimes need additional resources or more hands-on training. I would also like to see more advanced project-based content where learners can work through realistic business scenarios from beginning to end.

### "Good for a quick intro or refresher but for depth, look elsewhere "

July 17, 2025

4.0

Pros

Short courses that are to the point and engaging regardless of you prior knowledge on the topic. Also many topics, especially business Related.

Cons

Some courses are super basic with no or very limited assessment. As a result, the certification are easy to obtain. This does make the certification less valuable compared to those from platforms like Coursera or EdX

The courses on Udemy felt of lower quality or even funnels to other courses. I did not enjoy that at all.

### "Not Bad, But Could be Better "

August 24, 2026

3.0

Pretty positive. However for the cost, we would have needed better controls in place and a more curated system for the content.

Pros

The various offerings are incredible and you can offer a lot of paths for your team, so a real positive for the money.

Cons

There is a little too much, and the quality control isn't always there. They could do a much better job of pulling down content that is no longer relevant.

### "Unbeatable range of courses"

August 28, 2026

5.0

My employer offers this as a perk. I use it to go towards my ongoing CPD. Certificates can be downloaded or even shared on a LinkedIn post which lets your connections enjoy access to your course.

Pros

There is a very broad range of courses available. I have found some great people to follow on LinkedIn and signed up for newsletters etc. New corses are added regularly and older ones can be updated.

Cons

The cost is high but if you use it a lot if is worthwhile. Some courses are lower quality and self promote the people who created the courses. However you can just stop watching them.

### "Language excellence with LinkedIn Learning."

May 18, 2026

4.0

As a small language school like ours, it is a good supplemental material. My students like having additional materials, but I wish the site had more interactive activities. The monthly fee per user is reasonable, and we only want to use it when the students are actively using it in conjunction with our regular curriculum.

Pros

The language courses really dovetail into what I am teaching in class. The videos are available to practice between lessons. Some great teaching methodology courses were also found, helped me to organize my intermediate group in Swedish better. The certificates motivate my adult learners, they share them on their profiles.

Cons

Course search isn't great when looking for specific language levels. There is some dated content, particularly the 2018 Business language modules. Prefers printable resources to be used in the classroom.

### "How some people have premium LinkedIn account and don't use the learning platform?"

May 11, 2026

3.0

Started using LinkedIn learning when LinkedIn offered me a trial for a month and then I watched some content over there regarding software development and C# lessons.

Pros

The one thing that stands on a right way about LinkedIn learning is too the quantity of courses that they offer and quality.

Cons

The fact that you have to purchase a premium account on a LinkedIn to access the full content is the only thing that bothers me.

### "One of the better places to find professional development opportunities"

January 2, 2026

4.0

I've found LinkedIn Learning to be a reliable source for professional development material as well as being a great source of refresher material.

Pros

The resources provided within the LinkedIn Learning platform are good value for the price you pay for access. The user interface is easy to navigate due to the site's intuitive content layout and page design. Features such as learning grouping for your own collated lesson plans is an added bonus.

Cons

Some of the lessons are slightly dated (which is easy to do in the digital realm where content changes so frequently).

So far so good, when the course is good and the teacher has real knoledge to share the experience is delighful and addictive, I get really excited to return to the course.

Pros

The AI chat where you can ask any question about the subject of the courses is great , it feels like you are in a real class. Everything runs out so smooth, it is essencyal that theres is no struggles around the corner because any excuse is good to stop the learnings.

Cons

There are a lot of courses that are low level , too generic and withou any juice at all, you must oick the course wisely.

### "Great option for additional learning"

November 5, 2024

4.0

I really enjoy LinkedIn Learning. It has grown my experience on my profile and helped me broaden my knowledge. The best part of taking these classes is that I can apply the material right away to my work.

Pros

The learning opportunities are endless. There are so many courses to choose from plus certificates that you can add to your LinkedIn profile. I have enjoyed taking a few classes and broadening my learning. Especially when I am working on a project that I may not have a lot of experience with. I can come into LinkedIn Learning and get up to speed quickly and at my own pace.

Cons

My companies budget for these classes is low so I am limited to how many I can take. I also would like to have dialogue with an instructor or other to discuss the material.
