### "UpSkill UrSelf 😎 w/LinkedIn Learning! "

May 12, 2025

5.0

Very positive learning experience and as a bonus it integrates nicely with your profile by adding course completion certificates to your personal LinkedIn page.

Pros

The vast amount of content delivered via professional grade presentations!

Cons

I believe you'll need a premium subscription to get full course contents...but IMHO the courses alone are worth a premium subscription.

### "Good for a quick intro or refresher but for depth, look elsewhere "

July 17, 2025

4.0

Pros

Short courses that are to the point and engaging regardless of you prior knowledge on the topic. Also many topics, especially business Related.

Cons

Some courses are super basic with no or very limited assessment. As a result, the certification are easy to obtain. This does make the certification less valuable compared to those from platforms like Coursera or EdX

The courses on Udemy felt of lower quality or even funnels to other courses. I did not enjoy that at all.

### "A library full of titles that are really hard to see..."

September 25, 2025

3.0

While I like the number of topics and the ability to isolate portions of a training for assignment, the cost and lack of tools to manage company learning are the things that make LinkedIn Learning only second rate for me.

Pros

A broad variety of topics can always be found within the learning platform from subject matter experts with presentation experience.

Cons

The cost of the product is far too high, the search page is difficult for users to manage and find what they need, admin features were difficult to navigate and limited without extra add-ons (cost) and customer support is slow and not helpful.

### "One of the better places to find professional development opportunities"

January 2, 2026

4.0

I've found LinkedIn Learning to be a reliable source for professional development material as well as being a great source of refresher material.

Pros

The resources provided within the LinkedIn Learning platform are good value for the price you pay for access. The user interface is easy to navigate due to the site's intuitive content layout and page design. Features such as learning grouping for your own collated lesson plans is an added bonus.

Cons

Some of the lessons are slightly dated (which is easy to do in the digital realm where content changes so frequently).

September 18, 2025

Great, it has a lot to offer, and can really help to upskill a workforce at their point of need. It's very easy to navigate.

Pros

The depth of topics and resources is really impressive, and they are constantly working to enhance it and update their offerings.

Cons

Sometimes the amount of choice on topics can feel overwhelming, but I think they are working on ways to minimise this.

Its a nice platform offering wide range of skill based courses for continuous learning and career upskilling, making LinkedIn Learning as a valuable tool.

Pros

\- Provides rich set of quality content course library, good for corporate L&D departments and individual professionals - Offers content across major functionalities such as technology, creative and soft skills, business management etc - Smooth integration with LinkedIn profile, which ultimately provides recommendation around skill driven personalised learning path based on member's career profile - Can be access on desktop as well as mobile - Offers additional features (useful for corporates) such as analytics, team dashboards and integration with client proprietary LMS tools - Provides certifications as a symbol of acknowledgement and reward to the participants

Cons

\- Courses class categorisation is slightly confusing - Too much corporate verbo or tone making classes very formal - Can be perceived as costly for casual individual users - Some of the courses have dated content

There are a lot of courses that are low level , too generic and withou any juice at all, you must oick the course wisely.

### "Great Learning Opportunities Provided Easier To Learn Than In School"

April 6, 2026

5.0

LinkedIn Learning has been my go to for learning new content without needing to go to a bunch of websites to research where there isn't a scope of what I need to understand. Additionally, the subscription required for LinkedIn Learning is not expensive and you learn a lot for just a low cost.

Pros

There is a variety of content from different areas from business to software engineering to new tech tools and LinkedIn Learning does a great job of presenting concepts in a way that makes sense. You even get multiple attempts on chapter quizzes to show mastery towards content. Additionally, upon completion of a course, you earn a certificate you can show and the course is tied to applicable LinkedIn skills.

Cons

Sometimes, courses on leadership and marketing can be long winded and the speaker doesn't always get to the point making the content somewhat mind numbing. Additionally, LinkedIn should ask you first weather you want applicable skills tied to a course added to your profile rather than adding them as new skills by default.

### "Convenient learning platform for multiple tech & functional topics"

January 7, 2026

5.0

Useful learning platform with varying degrees of rigour on a myriad of topics both functional and technical.

Pros

Several courses with varying degree of rigour. Very useful to get a quick handle on topics or invest further time as one would like.

Cons

Some basic access should be available even to users without LinkedIn Premium. It would help increase interest and check relevance before fully committing to it.

### "Love LinkedIn Learning for Corporate Development "

October 24, 2024

5.0

I have been using LinkedIn Learning for three years now for my corporate job development. It is intuitive, easy to use, the subject experts teaching are excellent in their field, and the tools are adaptable depending on what you need.

Pros

There are a variety of topics- from everything such as interpersonal communication, leadership management, business analytics and so much more! Each topic has multiple options for the amount of time you want to spend on each topic. Trainings I’ve done have been anywhere from 20-30 minutes to 3 hours. You can also go back and complete the training, so you can break it up into smaller time frames.

Cons

Several of the programs require payment for a certificate, but not all of them.

### "Professional & Personal Upskilling Remotely At Your Own Pace "

September 30, 2024

5.0

Talk about professional development on this platform and it has been great. A very convenient and easy way to upskill personally and professionally, no matter age group, industry type, or what business unit you come from.

Pros

This is an all time great tool in my opinion as it is nothing short of a library to learn new skills, courses and so much more. We have all our teams use it and we love seeing how people become more proficient in their as well as other industries to stay updated with the market trends.

Cons

The only drawback I feel is about not having much credibility of these courses. It would be great to see if LinkedIn can instill or collaborate with accredited institutions (PMP, SSGI, etc) to have their certifications available here & provide certifications from under just one Umbrella (LinkedIn learning)

### "A good learning tool"

December 2, 2024

5.0

I had a moderately good experience using this tool . Not a bad experience at all. It was worth my time.

Pros

It has a large selection of courses that I could tailor to my own taste, and the fact that most of them offered certificates was a plus.

Cons

Some of the courses were expensive and the fact that one doesn't have direct contact with the instructors can be a turn off.

### "Good high quality content"

May 4, 2025

5.0

Pros

A great selection of courses is available on LinkedIn Learning, with a wide variety for whatever topic or subject you want to upskill on or learn about. The selective selection process for what courses can be hosted on their platform makes sure that only high quality content is available

Cons

It's packaged with LinkedIn Premium which has its benefits but it would be nice if LinkedIn Learning was available as a separate package for a cheaper price

### "An LMS with its own content"

October 9, 2024

4.0

At my previous employer, we utilized LinkedIn Learning (integrated through Degreed) purely for their content. If their content is desirable and no other content is needed, I would also recommend using LinkedIn Learning like an LMS since you can use LiL to create pathways and plans for employees, while also including internal content hosted in SharePoint or elsewhere.

Pros

LinkedIn has a very efficient UI and looks/feels great for employees. It's also easy to search for content and keep employees engaged. LinkedIn customer support is great too.

Cons

The content LinkedIn offers is mainly for soft-skills (business, project management, etc.) and does not cater towards deeper learning of technical skills (aside from high-level overviews).
